Selling my custom 1982 cutlass supreme. It has a custom lift and sitting on 22"rims right now but will fit alot bigger up to a 30"wheel. It does not have a motor in it right now because it was stolen recently along with the driveshaft. But it used to run and had a.350 rocket in it. It still also has 3" Flowmaster exhaust. I still have the 3 speed transmission and torque convertor, along with a pair of hooker headers. The interior is in excellent shape, and is original blue velvet. It has power windows and power door locks. All sales will be in person and buyer responsible for transport.

Sure, you can go the LS5 or LS6 Chevelle route, but the best bowties will set you back a small house or two. And the same goes for the most desirable members of Buick's GS family and Pontiac's GTO line. Well, what if we said you could take home a magazine-featured, national award-winning example of a limited production A-body, which many GM enthusiasts aren't even aware of, for under $40K? That's probably enough to get your undivided attention, right? In addition to being a loud, broad-shouldered hunk of the rocket division's best metal, this Oldsmobile is 1 of just 3,547 Cutlass Rallye 350s ever produced. Restored with an acute attention to detail, the car features a roster of correct parts that range from an original engine all the way down to a sorted FE2 suspension. And best of all, these qualities exist within a balanced, fun-to-drive classic that doesn't require a second mortgage! HISTORY/CREATION Historically, the Rallye 350 is a pretty interesting piece. The Big Three seemed to understand that the muscle-car era was a bubble that would eventually be popped by rising insurance costs and increased government regulation. And in the case of Oldsmobile, prolonging the inevitable meant creating a fun, affordable car that was capable of turning heads using a rather conservative small block. To ramp up appeal, Olds compiled various trim pieces into a unique visual package that's highlighted by Sebring Yellow paint and very aggressive striping. Up front, a black, silver-trimmed grille, borrowed from the Cutlass S, rides between a urethane-coated bumper and pinned 442 W25 hood. Styled Steel II wheels join painted sport mirrors and trumpeted exhaust tips to mix a little function into form. And out back, a 442 W35 wing floats over black-trimmed taillights and a second urethane-coated bumper. The end result is a brand of visual punch that's simply unmatched by anything this side of Chrysler's brightest Hi Impact pastels. And, in reality, the package might've been a bit too risqu for Olds' traditionally conservative buyer base, resulting in relatively low production numbers and a high level of exclusivity. BODYWORK During a 4.5-year restoration that was completed in early 1995, this solid Cutlass was thoroughly stripped, carefully disassembled and treated to entirely new body panels with the exception of its floors, roof and driver's door. After hours of hard work, the car's clean profile presented itself as an excellent foundation for correct Sebring Yellow 2-stage. And today, one close look at our high-resolution photos reveals a handsome payoff in the form of one of the coolest looking muscle cars on the planet! ENGINE When this Olds' restorer found his new project listed deep in the classifieds, it had been upfitted with a 455 cubic inch big block. Fortunately, the seller had retained the car's original L74 Rocket 350 and was willing to include it with the sale. Hoist the fiberglass hood and you'll find that original mill proudly displaying a correct 395558 casting number in front of a matching partial VIN. At the top of the nickel-infused block, a big Quadrajet 4-barrel mixes juice from leak-free fuel lines with wind that's supplied by a correct, low-restriction air cleaner. That air/fuel mixture travels in to a high performance intake that's anchored by a traditional points distributor. That distributor feeds fire through proven Packard TV R Suppression Cables, which snake around correct "6" heads that are equipped with hardened valve seats and 3-angle valve jobs. Below those heads, forged, .030 over pistons shoot charred dinosaurs into cast iron exhaust manifolds and big, true-dual pipes. Aesthetically, the car's Satin Black fenders and snazzy gold block look fantastic against its bright yellow paint. Thanks to the pros at Wallingford, Connecticut's East Coast Machine & Performance, the stout powerplant is all day reliable. And the entire set up flat out rocks, from its vintage decals and Frigidaire AC compressor all the way to its re-cored radiator and tagged Delco Energizer battery. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The bottom of this awesome Cutlass is completely solid and, thanks to a fully powder-coated chassis, shows no signs of undue wear or question-inducing battle scars. The aforementioned Rocket 350 fronts a rugged Muncie 4-speed that's much more fun than the car's original Turbo-Hydramatic 350. That proven transmission sends power to a stout 12-bolt that's equipped with a limited-slip differential and moderate, 3.42 gears. That driveline hangs in a correct FE2 Rallye suspension, which includes better shocks, thicker coil springs, reinforced control arms and a mandatory rear sway bar. Power-assisted discs and drums provide braking, while turns come courtesy of factory power steering. At the center of the car, aluminized pipes funnel spent gases through buff DynoMax Super Turbo mufflers. And at the corners of the car, color-keyed Styled Steel IIs spin G70-14 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports around stainless trim rings and rocket-branded center caps. INTERIOR For what was meant be a somewhat stripped-down Cutlass, the Rallye 350's interior offers plenty of visual niceties that give it a much more upscale feel. Open the doors to find sophisticated side panels that are accented with bright stainless and rich wood applique. Step past the Fisher Body sill plates and you'll find clean black carpet that's plush and fade-free. A nicely finished combination of bucket and bench seats mixes a stylish pattern with plenty of support. Between those seats, a factory console frames a long Hurst shifter. Above that console, an ornate dash hangs full telemetry over a standard AM/FM radio. The driver stays connected to the road through a correct Custom Sport steering wheel. And the passengers stow their essentials next to a fifth Styled Steel II/Firestone Wide Oval combination that's housed in a fully restored trunk. Up for sale is my 1970 Cutlass. This car is NOT a 442. The previous owner badged it. If this were a real 442 it'd be a lot more $$ What this car IS, is a solid middle of the road driver. It isn't a $2,500 dollar rust bucket that needs full on restoration but it isn't a $25,000 dollar show winner either. This car is a solid starting point. The motor is a strong running Chevy 350. It fires everytime on the first try, even if I don't drive it for a few days. It has a Jegs high rise race intake, a Holley 650 carb, HEI Distributor, headers and a ton of other new stuff. Brand new plugs an wires. Drum brakes in the rear, discs up front. The pads up front need to be replaced but new ones comes with the car. No idea on the mileage. There's absolutely no way to know. The frame is solid and doesn't show any signs of ever having been wrecked or rust damage. The interior is pretty straight. It has a bench seat from a 1968 Chevelle.New headliner, new door panels, new carpet. New weather stripping. The trunk seal is also new though I suspect it wasn't propperly installed by the guy I bought the car from because it leaks. I replaced the rear coil springs and shocks about a year ago. The car runs and drives. It's been my daily driver for over a year. The car needs: A new dash. There are digital gauges in the car that are horrible and don't work. If I kept the car I was going to do away with these and go back to stock. These were something the previous owner had installed. To do so he cut the support for the dash face. He also put in a push button start. You still need the keys, again not my idea. I had planned to do away with this as well. The interior light is in the car but needs installation. The passenger side rear window doesn't roll down. There's a small amount of rust in the passenger side door and a small amount in the driver side front fender behind the wheel. It could use some adjustment on either the timing or the carb. It needs a trunk lock. There's one there now but it's not working. The key was working until a couple of days ago. It could definitely use a paint job. All in all, this is a pretty nice car. It isn't perfect but it's a lot better than what I usually see up here for the money. 1977 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham Landau Coupe, 350 V8 4 bbl Carburetor, I Owner, Garage Kept, 65,000 Miles, Loaded! Low mileage all original survivor from 1977. Car is complete except for the 2 rear bumper filler panels that go on each corner (shown in pictures). Paint is original and is in the expected condition for a car from that era. Some fade and patina are along the deck lid, top and hood. The dash has a few minor cracks and one chipped place on the driver’s side. I have tried to show as much in the photos as I could. The interior is also all original blue and tan striped velour cloth and has no tears. The vinyl pieces are in good condition but do have some fading that is consistent with the cars age. The car is mechanically in great condition. Everything works and the Olds 350 ci V8 engine is solid. The 350 turbo-hydromatic transmission shifts firm and smooth. The brakes are in good shape. In addition to trick aesthetics and a heavily modified suspension, this killer coupe mixes a rugged Tremec TKO600 5-speed with 455 cubic inches of Oldsmobile big block that makes roughly 500 horsepower. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind muscle car that's live, loaded and ready to launch, strap yourself in to THIS rocket! BODYWORK/TRIM During a 2014 rotisserie restoration, this solid Cutlass was entirely disassembled and completely stripped of its dull, original paint. After a bit of hard work, the car's clean body presented itself as an excellent foundation for a slick combination of BMW silver and Satin Black 2-stage. And today, one close look at our high-resolution photos reveals a handsome payoff in the form of one of the coolest looking GM muscle cars on the planet! Unlike most pro-touring builds, this Olds wasn't entirely stripped of its stainless and ornamentation. Instead, the baubles and bolt-ons were muted with careful powder coating that highlights the car's awesome 'coke bottle' profile and intimidating street presence. At the front of that profile, a silver grille hangs a vivid "442" emblem between bright halogen headlights and a Satin Black bumper that's complete with clear parking lamps. At the top of that grille, a standard hood leads the eye to new glass that's framed in straight stainless and reflected in vinyl-wrapped sport mirrors. At the sides of that hood, aftermarket door handles and color-keyed lock cylinders perfectly complement clean marker lamps and dent-free wheel rings. And at the back of the car, a vinyl-wrapped decklid rides above silver-trimmed taillights, a second Satin Black bumper, and stainless, center-outlet exhaust tips. ENGINE It's not immediately apparent why this coupe's body carries so much sizzle; that is, until you see what's under its hood. Pop the latch, fling the steel and you'll find 455 cubic inches of Rocket V8 that produces somewhere around 500 horsepower! Excellent throttle response and modern drivability are provided by a big Holley 4-barrel, which is piped to braided fuel lines and fitted with a black-cased reusable filter element. Beneath that carb, an Edelbrock Torker 455 feeds factory heads and giant cylinders that benefit from a .060 overbore. At the sides of those cylinders, ceramic-coated, long-tube headers push thrust through large-diameter, true-dual exhaust pipes. That thrust gets its ignition sequence from an aftermarket HEI distributor and JEGS 8.0 Pow'r Wires. In front of those wires, a blackened March serpentine system spins modern power steering and a chrome Powermaster alternator opposite modern air conditioning. And in front of that drive, a beefy aluminum radiator, which is equipped with a polished overflow tank and two electric puller fans, keeps atmospheric heat at bay. Aesthetically, the car's body-matched engine bay appears to be holding up very well. And items like an Optima gel cell battery, a familiar Wilwood master cylinder and custom-finished valve covers add a heavy dose of form and function. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION While you might think that monstrous engine is this classic's biggest selling point, some of its best hardware is hidden out of view. For starters, there's a tough Tremec TKO600 5-speed that keeps power up at the stoplight and revs down on the highway. That gearbox leads a rugged 10-bolt rear end, which hides tall 3.73 gears under a snazzy aluminum inspection cover. With a fresh restoration to a very high standard, it's a handsome and sophisticated ragtop that delivers on Oldsmobile's promise of luxury and performance in the same package. Of course, that also overlooks the fact that the Cutlass was arguably the best-looking of the A-bodies, and costs a fraction of its Chevrolet and Pontiac siblings. This Aspen Green isn't the flashiest color for a muscle car, but the smooth panels look great in it, and the Cutlass is about more than just horsepower. The blend of performance and luxury that Oldsmobile offered is embodied in this Cutlass ragtop. The body is sporty, with dramatic curves, flared fenders, and a handsome front end that was instantly recognizable as being from the Rocket division. But it's a sophisticated kind of sporty, not aggressive or over-blown, which means no stripes or brash nicknames, just an upscale look with a subtle paint job that still looks fantastic. The car shows no signs of having been wrecked or rusty, so everything fits together exactly the way the factory assembled it more than 40 years ago. In addition, the chrome is quite nice, with no parking lot dings or signs of corrosion around the edges, which is doubly impressive in a car that was actually, you know, used as a car for many years. Choosing a black interior with the Aspen Green paint was the right choice, although I'm guessing the brochures of the time were pushing white interiors. Bucket seats, a center console, and factory A/C suggest that someone was feeling generous with the options list and had this Cutlass built just the way they wanted it. Other things, like the burled walnut dash appliques, the stainless steel gauge faces, and 4-spoke steering wheel were all standard Cutlass fare, and the combination works really well. An AM/FM stereo replaces the original radio and uses speakers down in the kick panels to fill the interior with sound. A matching black convertible top with glass rear window fits well, folds easily, and doesn't have any rips or tears, stowing itself with the touch of a button on the dash. The trunk is in good order with spatter paint, a full-sized spare with brand new tire, and a factory-style jack assembly. Oldsmobile's 350 cubic inch V8 shared exactly zero components with the Chevy version, and thanks to its higher nickel content in the iron block, has proven to be virtually indestructible out in the real world. It has a distinctive sound all its own, a sophisticated burble that's perfect for the Cutlass's dual nature. It was rebuilt to stock specs in 2008, with gold paint on the engine, original air cleaner, and a lot of new components that say someone loved to drive it. The A/C has been converted to R134a refrigerant, and there's now a rumbling dual exhaust system that sounds great without being over-bearing. A TH350 3-speed automatic spins the original 12-bolt rear end and has highway-friendly gears inside that make this an awesome choice for a road trip. Classic Oldsmobile Rally wheels are painted a contrasting light silver and wear 225/70/14 white-letter radials. A neat car a top that goes down makes for a fun hobby vehicle. The fact that it's a V8-powered A-body convertible is just icing on the cake. With just three owners from new, a single repaint, and a lot of character, this is a very appealing alternative to the usual late-60s cruisers. The current owner bought this car from his brother, who, in turn, bought it from a neighbor nearly two decades ago, so the chain of ownership actually means something in this car's case. Always treated as something special, these guys seemed to know that taking care of the Olds was more important than flashy graphics and body modifications. As a result, it wears just a single repaint in the original code D Crystal Blue, and despite being applied in 2002, this beauty has been garage kept so it still looks fantastic today. Super straight bodywork no doubt contributes to the overall high-quality look, and the sharp Oldsmobile fender arches and peaked fenders look particularly crisp in the sparkling blue finish. All the chrome and trim is largely original and more than anything else it tells you just how well-maintained this car really is. We really like this car! The Cutlass Supreme received bucket seats, and the blue upholstery is not only correct but in great shape. Experts will quickly spot the custom center console, but it's so well done that most folks will think it was installed by the factory. Big giveaways are the cup holders, which really didn't come along until the late '80s, and it also houses the AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo, a pair of speakers, and a trio of auxiliary gauges, all nice upgrades. The standard factory instruments are up high where they belong, covering speed and fuel level, and for an original car the dials are in remarkably good condition. As an Olds, you shouldn't be surprised to see upscale options like power windows and factory A/C, and again, it's the quality of this car that really stands out. The seat covers fit snugly, the door panels are excellent, and additions like the center console and extensive stereo all blend in neatly. Overhead there's a power convertible top that fits well and the trunk is outfitted with a full-sized spare and a 10-inch subwoofer. Oldsmobile's wonderfully sporting 330 cubic inch V8 provides just the right kind of power for the Cutlass's dual nature. Smooth and docile in traffic, it never gets cranky, but when you crack the throttle it offers up a healthy serving of torque to make the car feel light and quick on its feet. The engine bay is nicely restored with a correct bright red air cleaner on top of the Oldsmobile Gold engine, and there's lots of evidence of recent work everywhere you look, from the alternator to the wiring to the belts and hoses. The 2-speed automatic transmission doesn't draw attention to itself in daily operation and a new exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers gives it a unique Rocket soundtrack. Clean floors, a comfortable suspension, and options like power steering and brakes mean that this is a car that's built to cruise, and it does it exceedingly well. The big 18-inch Torque Thrusts are a modern take on an old favorite and with fat 235/40/18 radials, it sits exactly right. Go ahead and count how many Chevelles and GTOs show up at the next cruise night. Now count the Oldsmobiles. If you like to stand out in a good way, this Cutlass convertible is the answer.
