Up for sale is a beautiful 1992 RED MERCEDES 190e with the larger and more powerful 2.6, six cylinder engine. The motor and transmission are VERY strong with less than 180,000 miles and driven less than 7,500 miles per year. This car is a daily driver and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. I am flexible on the price and I will consider all reasonable offers but I will not just give it away SO MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!!! I recently purchased the car from the original owner 2 years ago. The car has been well taken care of with all service records present and it is very clean and 100% original, including the paint! The car has good brakes, suspension, tires, new battery and has recently been inspected. The A/C works and blows cold. The car drives beautifully, tracks true and straight, and is very comfortable and quiet! Current known issues are: the engine stalls at red lights and stop signs occasionally but very seldom, the rear driver side window will not roll all the way up, the drivers door lock does not work with the key, the cruise control does not work, the engine runs a little hot during the summer but the temperature does return to normal when the fan kicks on. There are minor imperfections in the interior and minor dings and paint wear, all imperfections are representative of a 25 year old car, including some fading on the exterior. The Kenwood radio works well and so does the power antenna but the radio will cut off sometimes unexpectedly, probably due to a loose wire. The sunroof works but one corner does not close flush with the roof, there are no leaks from the sunroof. The power seats work with the exception of the passenger side power head rest. The interior upholstery and headliner are in beautiful condition with some minor pulling away of the door panels. The issues that the car has are very minor and typical of these cars and are easy fixes. The car does not smoke but does leak a little bit of oil. This car can very easily be restored and can be driven and enjoyed while doing so. I have truly enjoyed owning this Mercedes and was going to restore it but I have decided to sell the vehicle. The car has never been in an accident and has very little to no rust (no visible rust on the body that can be seen, only your standard engine bay and underside rust that is very minimal). The car has been garage kept and is very presentable for being 25 years old! It is very hard to find a RED Mercedes with this very desirable color combination and in this condition! This car needs a little TLC from someone that loves Mercedes and a few minor and quick repairs. The repairs I would recommend would be to replace the engine gaskets simply due to its age, cruise control module, catalytic converter, a good tune up and the other minor issues mentioned above. This car can easily be brought back to near showroom condition with a paint respray. If you love Mercedes cars and you are looking for a great car to restore this is a great starting point for a beautiful restoration! 1986 Mercedes 190e Dogleg Cosworth 2.3L – 16V Up for sale is a very original 190e in desirable black on black with a dogleg manual gearbox. Car presents very well, interior is very nice and all original down to the radio. Dash has two small cracks but a 190e dash can be sourced if needed. Classic 1988 Mercedes-Benz 190E, I think I'm the 4th owner of this classic 4 door sedan. It's equipped with leather seats, automatic transmission, sun roof, cruse control, auto door locks & power seats, the tires are in excellent condition with many miles remaining, there is no rust and the paint is in excellent condition. Runs and drives good, a very good road car with approximately 30 MPG highway. NADA list the value @ low retail $3,950, average retail $5,775 & high retail $7,775. If you are looking for a very good project car, you really need to check this one out. There are 3 tech & service manuals included with the vehicle to help guide you along. I bought this car 2 years ago with the intentions of restoring it myself. I moved into a new neighborhood and the neighbors are complaining about me parking it on the street. Here's my wife's former work sedan. She Loved this car and drove it for her hospice nursing. Due to it's age repairs started being needed. It was taken to "The" Mercedes garage in Coos Bay (Metric Motorworks). About the time I thought we had run out of things to replace, the head gasket went, just some seepage that was causing a slow leak. With so many new parts, and expert servicing, only made sense to do the head...alas, when removed it had a hairline crack. So the bill was going to go much higher, so we decided to make a change. This car was never over-heated, or not had it's 3,000 mi oil changes etc. Did not use oil. Body is just about perfect. The head is off and all parts in trunk. John pointed out and was impressed seeing no ring wear and the camshaft looked great too. Some fellow pulled in front of her some time back with ensuing damage. Nothing structural or serious....as the insurance company went ahead and paid for professional repairs. Since it has sat and not been rubbed/waxed for quite sometime, there is sheen/surface condition between the new and original paint, which the older sections just needs rubbed out and waxed and the color looks great and it really a beautiful car. NOT a rust bucket. Handles like a dream, is comfortable, gets GREAT mileage for any car, much less a mid-size luxury sedan (37-42 MPG). Will need engine work or replacement. Here's a large portion of work done in short time span before the head gasket: New brake rotors / New struts and bumbers / New wiper washer hose / Steering box / Fuel tank sending unit and filters-tank fully cleaned / New parking brake shoes / Seals replaced on fuel supply valves-pump / New drive belt tensioner / New glow plugs / New radiator (Right before head) / New heater blower motor / New Heater Core / New Water Pump / New Flex-disc center support / New drive shaft boot / New Front Ball Joints / New Aux fan switch / New Temperature Switches. I''m sure there's more...but that gives you a good idea of how far we went in renewing this sedan. The Michilins on it weren't very old either. I have all the invoices for the extensive work. A local fellow kept saying he wanted it. He has never came through, and has proven to be definitely a "tire kicker". This would make a very nice keeper, with engine repair, or one heck of a parts car for like vehicles. I will get a few pics together of the interior asap... I do remember the dash is cracked...I will update more info very soon. I just need to get this out there...it needs to go. It is not washed in pics either, paint is in excellent condition. Please read my feedback to see how I take care of business.

has one small dent in drivers side door, needs water pump, window motors, valve cover gasket, and new tires.( new water pump and gasket in trunk) runs great, great gas mileage, and has 108,000 miles on engine. the car has been sitting for about a year and needs normal maintenance done. (oil change, filters, battery, tires, and needs to be cleaned. the title is clear and we have it on hand. all glass is intact and unbroken, transmission is good, and the exhaust is good. overall this one of the cleanest ones i've seen. A/C needs freon.

Transmission is in the trunk, it needs to be rebuilt. The tires are new, however the front passenger tire is flat. This is a great rare Mercedes! I would love to keep it and fix the transmission, however I can't right now. I would love to see this car have an owner who will fix the transmission and enjoy it! This is why I am selling it to a private person vs. to a wrecking yard! Also included is the Owner's Manual and both original keys. I have dreamed of owning this car for years! I love this car and am only selling it because I started a new business that requires me to drive to different cities several times a month. I do not want to abuse this car by adding tons of miles to it so I must sell it now however I am not in a rush. This Mercedes is a standard 2.3 - 8v four cylinder. Car is in great interior and exterior condition and runs great. I had a full check up done 4 months ago and everything was in good condition, also I have done recent oil change. The only issue with the motor is that it is leaking oil. Good:-Transmission shifts smoothly and quietly-Interior is in excellent condition - has original floor mats-Leather seats are in impeccable shape-New dashboard, it is black (see photos)-Heat works Bad: -Mirror in passenger sun visor has come loose, needs to be glued, still stays in place.-Back interior break light has come loose, it is being held with electrical tape (see photo).-Minor rust 'dots' on the body (car has 2-3). There is also rust on one area of the body (photographed).-A/C not blowing cold air, but heat does work. Car is located in the city of Chicago. "IN OUR DAYS THEY NEVER MADE LIKE USE TO BE" This car is a garage kept, most time dealer maintained, excellent mechanical and overall cosmetic condition. E190 with 2.3 Engine 4 Cylinder has 185 HP The engine runs perfect with no issues and all scheduled maintenance performed. The transmission shifts smooths with no known issues. All power options perform without fault. AC blows ice cold and heater work perfect , car is equip with sliding moon roof plus tilt up.The leather seating is in very good condition with no rips or tears. The tires are new with less than 7,500 miles. The car comes with an additional full tire spare and all factory books, manuals and brochures. Car is overall in perfect mechanical condition and will drive anywhere. Clean Florida title , No accidents, No stories.Full service record until last synthetic oil change.As shown on the pictures Car has 0% rust. The car does have small dents that would be associated with a near 24 year old car. The car acquired less than 6,500 miles a year in its tenure ownership. Hi I'm sellling my 1987 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3 16valve 3 owner car Please if you are not Familiar with this car id prefer you find another, these car are rare and for a certain individual ive had 3 of these cars. my brother currently has one. they are very well built and i always get complements on it this car, it has a special engine block made by a british racing engine company named cosworth, they got together in the early eighties and developed this engine together with mercedes benz. i have many Projects and too many cars at this point ive had the car for about 6 months but since my brother is willing to trade his with me for another one of my cars i no longer need it. i will be including many spare parts ive purchased for routine fixes. drive belt,a used suspension pump rotors,brake pads,and a few sensors plus a few other parts Please serious inquires only i work 6 days a week and don't have time for B.S and people that want the car for Free im a bit negotiable with the price but im Pretty Firm im not desperate to sell. these cars will only go up in value BTW its an automatic and slow if you are expecting a fast car she's not fast but well behaved at high speeds on the highway. i just had 4 brand new tires balanced and installed on her the rear suspension bags are good with no leaks everything works on this car. thanks
