Tires are only 15% wear, brakes along with up to date oil change etc. Rims are polished original and newer tokico shocks and Racing beat spring and muffler tail pipeAll interior original with updated rubber insulation. This 7 has passed smog with no issues all years. No accidents, issues reported on this VIN along with clean title. Aftermarket alaram installed with door opener. Only thing not working is radio (original) and antenna, winkers could simply be relay but I haven't the time to fix. There is some clear coat flaking on the driver side roof, slight passenger bumper dent however minor all rubbers, bumper in tact along with all emblems accounted for. Low mileage GSL-SE in desirable factory Sunrise Red with gray cloth interior. Original miles. Car has remained inside since approximately 1991. Original engine replaced with 1991 S5 13B professionally street ported and built. Runs great and strong Engine details: Engine puts down approx. 200 hp to the wheels Approx. 10K on rebuild. Engine rebuild included lightweight S5 rotors and S5 E shaft, new gaskets, injectors professionally cleaned, new water pump, heavy duty clutch on factory transmission, flywheel turned, braided oil lines, oil cooler professionally flushed/cleaned, new pulsation dampner, new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel and vacuum lines, belts, hoses, aftermarket coils, distributor cap & rotor and NGK plug wires. Exhaust is a Racing Beat Street Port dual pre-silencer exhaust with Road Race Header. Has great tone and designed for street ported engines. Muffler is the Racing Beat muffler that goes with this system. Car interior is like new with no tears or rips in the upholstery or headliner. Carpets nice and not faded. Radio is a little scratchy with the "on/off" knob. I think some electronic contact cleaner would solve that problem, the original electric antennaebut does not retract, might be stuck. Sounds like power is going to it though. Car still has its original factory Pirelli P6 tires on its correct original date coded SE rims. (Note: I would not trust the original tires to be driven on for very far given their age). Fluids changed in engine, radiator, transmission and differential. Car does not have power steering. Car features a Racing Beat large diameter front sway bay and polyurethane end links. Brakes good, engine runs strong. New Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave Cylinder. Body appears to have had both front fender repainted sometime between 1985 and 1991. The top of the passenger door as they appear a different color. possibly due to a fender bender which caused the salvage/rebuilder title. Lower front valance, nose panel, cowl panel and hood do not appear to have been repainted and retain the original Sunrise red color same as the rest of the car. factory seam sealer on drivers fender indicate it was not removed however I believe the passenger fender has been replaced at some point in the car's life back in the 80's. Other dents and lower rear valance damage was caused by floor jacks in shop where car was stored for 25+ years stored and removed daily from under the rear valance and not a result of any accidents. Car is sold "as-is" with no warranties given or implied. If you have questions about the car, please ask before you bid and not afterwards. I have described this car to the best of my ability and described the car accurately. I am a private seller. I have owned rx7's for 30+ years and this is a nice example of the last year made, collectible GSL-SE. Car is located in Omaha Nebraska with convenient access to Interstate I-80 making it simple for transport pickup.

Up for sale is a nice original example of the most sought after first generation rx7. I purchased this final year, 1985, GSL-SE with the intention to fix it up and sell it on to a new owner. The car sat for at least 10 years, It's technically a 2 owner car, but the original owner died several years ago and her brother licensed the car and drove it for a few years until he decided to park it, I purchased it from him. The car has all the original paperwork except for the window sticker. According to the records, the car was bought new in Idaho but immediately went to California and spent most of it's life there before coming back to Idaho. The clean title is still in the previous owner's name, but It's been signed off and I have a bill of sale. My wife and I are moving soon and I didn't have time to get it transferred to my name, (I live in Washington and out of state title transfers take several months) the car has expired Idaho tags. I've known about this car for a long time, but I never realized it was a GSL-SE, or I would have rescued it sooner! The car obviously had some issues from sitting and will still need some minor things. The paint is oxidized on the roof and passenger rear quarter and rear bumper. The car also had a partial respray in the past. The paint buffed out and the whole car shines, If you want it perfect it would need a paint job, but I like the patina look. There is absolutely no rust in the car and the body is in excellent shape, with hardly any dings. The interior is nice and original, There is a stain in the passenger seat and a small split in the bolster on the drivers seat that could probably be repaired easily. The dash has NO cracks. The original stereo system with equalizer is still in the car and sounds awesome. The car has A/C but its not blowing cold, probably needs recharged. The vents don't work only the defrost vents. This could be a fuse or something minor, that I'll look into. The high beams only work when you pull the stick back but not when you push it forward, in other words you can flash them but they don't stay on. This could also be a minor issue that I'll look into. The car does need a new crank mechanism for the top, its stripped and doesn't work without some help. The rear struts on the hatch need replaced, and one of the wires for the rear defrost is broken. The antenna doesn't work, neither does the gas door release, and the car needs new door seals. It also has an exhaust leak just before the cat. Everything else works inducing the cruise, power windows, and even the lighter. I replaced the fuel pump and filter and had the tank refurbished. The injectors were professionally cleaned, flow, and load tested and fitted with new screens and seals. Other new parts include intake gasket, clutch master and slave, after market aluminum 3 row radiator, cap, rotor, NGK plugs and wires, air filter and oil change. I also soaked the combustion chambers with ATF to revitalize the seals before I ever drove the car, and I've only put non-ethanol premium in it and added 2 stroke oil. The car runs awesome, pulls strong and shifts smooth. The handling is amazing although the old shocks do feel a little tired. These were said to be the best drivers cars of the 80's, since this is the GSL-SE it has the bigger 13B engine and disc brakes on all 4 wheels and LSD rear end. The car also has a removable top and was the top spec rx7. The car doesn't need much to be a very nice example, or drive it the way it is! I'd keep it if I could. 1984 GSL-SE, in amazing condition. Powered by a freshly rebuilt series 4 Turbo 2 engine and trans. Boost is provided by a T04e turbo sitting on a one off tubular stainless steel exhaust manifold, boost is controlled by a huge 50mm Synapse engineering external wastegate. Up front is a massive custom intercooler. Custom Stainless exhaust from down pipe to tip using RacingBeat mufflers. Very wonderful note to the exhaust. Not raspy. Microtech computer management with ignition control option. Walbro 255 external fuel pump with Aeromotive fuel rising rate fuel pressure regulator, Custom aluminum charge piping with Synapse engineering blow off valve. Mishimoto custom aluminum racing radiator. Flex-a-lite black magic electric fan. RacingBeat silicone radiator hoses. Interior is in great shape, has custom Nardi steering wheel with hub extender. Exterior has good paint, fender flares, Axis O.G. Mesh rims, suspension consists of Tockico Illumina (white) struts and shocks, Suspension Techniques lowering springs all around around, Suspension Techniques adjustable Sway bars front and rear with polyurethane bushings and end links. The engine was just removed, rebuilt using new parts from Atkins Rotary, including '93+ style corner seal springs and Atkins patented solid recessed corner seals. This engine must go through the break-in process using no boost, then be dyno tuned. It has just been rebuilt and idles and revs but has not been driven. I have changed turbochargers on this setup and it cannot be driven under any boost conditions until break-in and tuning have been completed. So sorry, no test driving under any boost, we can drive around the block at moderate rpm. This car is packed with goodies and I'm sure I'm forgetting something but it's a helluva package and if you know about Rx's you can surely appreciate what has gone into this one.
