1983 MAZDA RX7 for sale Exotic Classics is pleased to present this brilliantly original 1983 Mazda RX7 Limited Edition featured in Chateau Silver Metallic Clearcoat with Red velour luxury interior. The Limited Edition model was released in 1983 and was based on the GS. Every one of them was painted "Chateau Silver" with red pin-striping and special 14x5.5 inch wide alloys with 195/60HR14 tires. The car has the 100 HP twin-rotor 12A engine and 5-speed manual gearbox. Additional options include the sunroof and air-conditioning. These early Japanese sportscars are becoming very collectible and it is rare to see a survivor like this that has never been damaged or modified. Having covered only 36k miles, this car is near-new in all respects. The car has been cherished since new and is presented with all original paint and interior. Lively and delightful to drive. The car is currently in project car status, that was once a showstopper and featured in modified magazine in Fed 2004. The car is not running and is on its 2nd swap attempt. the car is disassembled, all the body panels have been removed for protection, and also a 2nd hood an original carbon fiber scoot hood. the same interior panels have also been removed, but still in the vehicle. all oem electronics wire's and such still in place, no ecu. 1993 Mazda Rx-7 , Touring, 5 speed manual, 69k Original miles . Clean title on hand . Car is running and driving well with no apparent issues . Starts right up no smoking, overheating or strange noises. Tracks straight, no vibrations or suspension noises. Turbos Spool Up instantly. Car is stock besides for a full racing beat exhaust, and an adaptronic programmable ECM that is currently running a base map and will need to be tuned. The interior is clean and consistent with mileage and age of the vehicle. Drivers seat has a torn bolster, passenger is in great shape. Center console plastic coating has worn off in some spots (common) and is showing some wear. The exterior has no major dents or damage, there are some small scrapes and dings here and there, one ding on the hood, few on drivers door, and a couple small scratches here and there.
