1972 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Original Arizona survivor! 55,000 original miles! Title says 44,967 "A" title. (For non Arizonians, that is documented, original). Original orange paint with original stickers. Perfect patina! swapped in 360 V8 out of a 1983 "grandma owned" Wagoneer with around 100k miles. At time of install had new timing chain, freeze plugs, plugs, wires, rebuilt Edelbrock 1406 4 BBL carb, Edelbrock Intake, Old School Offenhouser valve covers, New exhaust with a glasspack style muffler. New clutch, pressure plate and HD radiator. Sounds throaty but not to loud, has more than ample power and runs great. I am selling this cool old CJ for a customer of mine. He has 10k invested with documented receipts of $8200.00! not including the cost of the jeep! MANY MANY upgrades, includung AGR steering box, GM tilt steering column, custom pedals and hangers. Bestop high back seats with Pro Armor full harness with a custom welded in bar behind the seats for the shoulder straps. This Jeep has also had rebuilt springs with taller shackles, brand new (5) Mickey Thompson wheels and (5) Goodyear MTR tires. This Renegade has custom front and rear bumpers with a tow bar and wiring. Included with the Jeep is 4 original fender flares, All reciepts and many extra parts. I do restore Jeeps for a living. Occasionally I will help sell Jeeps for select clients. I REALLY love this Jeep, its orginal paint and 360 V8 really make it special. I rarely find Jeeps that have not been repainted or wildly modified. I LOVE the patina and originality. However some things have obviously been changed. Please look at the pictures. The tool box under the passenger seat has been removed and there is rust on the passenger fender right above the V8 logo. There is also some bubbling below the door opening (normal CJ spot) and next to the tail lights (also normal spots). The passenger fender also has some "personality" as does the factory placement of the stickers! GO JEEP! There is plenty of scratches, fading, dings, dints, etc. Again, PLEASE LOOK AT PICS! its ORIGINAL!! and sooo cool. I believe (as does the owner) that the frame may have a slight bend just front of the grill on the passenger rail. The Home made bumper does not sit strait, but is WELDED on. With some time it could be removed. This Jeep is being sold as is no warranty. It has a Clear Arizona tile in the owners name. Again, she does not belong to me. I have driven her breifly and drives strait and stops amazing for power drum brakes. I will be the contact on all questions reguarding this Jeep. 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Rare Levis edition, original paint, and original stickers! This beauty has 120k original, miles. I just swapped in a low mileage (10-20k) 4 BBL, 360, pulled from a J10. I also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bushing, throwout bearing, clutch bell crank, surfaced flywheel, new radiator, HEI distributor, MSD wires, new hoses, plugs, motor mounts, battery, battery cable, gauges, CD Player, ALL NEW! Ceramic coated fenderwell headers, with new custom made side pipes (she sounds MEAN!!!). Newer gas tank and hoses. I just sprayed in a color matched bedliner over rust free floors. Perfect Levis blue dash pad, Older Levis blue high back seats, 3" racing lap belts, roll cage (lined also), New bikini top, Newer CJ center console. The transmission T-150 3 speed has been rebuilt in the past ( with receipts), Has a swapped in Dana 44 rear with 4:11 gears and a trak-lock, front 30 with 4:11's and a trak-lock, new locking hubs, front and rear drums (power), power steering, 2.5" rancho springs with .5" lift HD shackles. RS9000 Rancho Shocks, (9 pos. adjustable), older 31" BFG's with lots of tread, some sun cracks (Arizona) on correct 5 spoke Renegade wheels. I also installed 1.5" wheel spacers to give it that wide track look (again personal preference). If not your thing, I can remove them before it ships. This Beautiful Cj wears its original paint, Has scratches and dings. The drivers fender showing a previous dent and repair and repaint. please look at the pics, There is a small area of rust begining under the "jeep" on the drivers side. (look at pics). The rear corners have older diamond plate and custom fuel filler and tail lights. I bed lined this with the inside. There does not seem to be any rust behind these, think they were installed when diamond plate corners were ther "rage", i Just liked them better blue. This Jeep runs and drives great. TONS of power, Great side pipe sound, drums brakes stop great, shifts good, TURN KEY AND GO! Only unfinished things are CD player not hooked up (brand new with box and instructions included). there are no speakers, (I did not want to install anything, cut, modify etc) the license plate light will need to be hooked up. The speedo needle does not move, however I did install a new cable. BUT everything is NEW! The Jeep comes with a Bestop Supertop. Its older and windows are yellowed. However all the hardware is there, so hopefully you could just buy a "skin" for it. BUT installed would keep you dry. I do restore Jeeps for a living. i have a 1976 jeep cj7 renegade for sale. i beleive it was one of the first cj7s produced the build date on the jeep is i think december of 1975 or november cj7s were a new model for 1976.it could use a little tlc but ive done most of the hard stuff.it was found on a farm in benson az and brought to tucson az which is where it is now i beleive the old timer i bought it from was the original owner.frame oand tub are rust free the paint however did not survive the az sun.since i purchased the jeep i have put a rough country 2.5 inch liftkit with 1 inch shackles and new shocks,new 33inch bfg all terrains.new aluminum radiator,hei,exhaust from the cat back.edelbrock carb and manifold with an electric puel pump.new top blue and full doors white,i also have a set of half doors tan.ive replace all the seats front and back.im replacing some leaky seals in the transmission front one now,and we just serviced the transfer case we replaced the actuator for the 4wheel drive and fluid.its a good running little jeep ive taken out on some fairly rough trails in az with some jeep clubs and was surprised how well it performed.it got me there and back with out any surprises while i watched many newer jeeps break down,if your interested in building a crawler i have some spare parts for sale new holley projection tbi,new painless cj7 wiring harness,chevy turbo 400 and np203,a matched set of dana 44 axles from a late seventies international scout 2,and a set of yj soa springs

Handling trails at night will also never be an issue with the 4 front mounted KC HiLites hooked up and ready to go! The interior is in great shape all around. The original seats have been upgraded to BestTop all weather type hiback buckets. The interior does have a rear seats and two-point harness style seat belts which were not installed at time of the pictures. Rear seat is original and needs a seat cover. The dash is in nice shape with all correct gauges in place and everything functioning as it should. A beautiful black non slip surface has been installed on all the floors. The full soft top and doors are in excellent condition with all locking mechanisms working perfectly! The Jeep will also include a bikini top as well. This Jeep is ready to go from a comfy covered ride to a doors-off, no roof cruiser! Mechanically, this little CJ runs GREAT! The jeep starts right up and the rebuilt four speed shifts properly and had an all new clutch and slave cylinder installed when the drive train was bolted back together. The 4.2l straight 6 moves this Jeep around with ease and is actually quite peppy and the big carburetor and performance intake help the Jeep breath, then the full headers and magnaflow exhaust dump it all out the back! The motor appears to be a fresh rebuild and resealed with all new gaskets before going back on the frame. I personally have driven the Jeep at a constant 75mph for several hours and it takes it with ease! The Jeep is very tight and doesn't leak a drop of anything and the cooling system w/ big Aluminum radiator keeps the motor cool even in the Arizona heat. The four wheel drive system functions perfectly and the locking hubs work correctly. All brakes were fully serviced and work perfectly with Discs up front and drums in the rear. The electrical system was updated and the original alternator was replaced with a more dependable AC Delco alternator/regulator combo. This jeep is extremely reliable and starts right up every time. Every possible performance part you can buy has been installed on this Jeep and expense spared! For Sale is a Very Nice Arizona unmolested 1984 Silver CJ7 Renegade. She has 152k miles still wearing it original silver paint with original Renegade stripes. Never wrecked still has super strait front bumper. It has a 258 six with automatic, power steering and manual brakes. Very solid jeep with only minor rust below the “Jeep” on the sides and minor surface rust on windshield frame below wipers. Solid floors that have been Rhino Lined and a strong great running engine. Some of the miles believed to be flat towing miles. When I purchased her there was a blown head gasket (why it sat in southern Arizona unused for many years). So I rebuilt the top half of the motor with a new head gasket, head was gone through with new valve seats machined, valve seals, valve cover and gasket, NEW weber carb and NEWcoil, distributer, battery, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator, new radiator, hoses etc. She has 80lbs of oil pressure at start up, and stays in the 30’s while warm, does not overheat. Also has a new Heater Core and Speedometer cable (used to bounce wildly) She also has an aftermarket transmission cooler mounted upfront. Transmission fluid and filter was changed, shifts strong and drives great. The suspension got a 2.5” lift with new poly bushings and 1/2" lift shackles and new Rancho shocks. New tie rods where needed, very nice 32x11:50x15 BFG all terrains, 15x8 1980 Laredo wheels, Front axle has had the weaker late model locking hubs and rotor replaced with the stronger earlier Warn hubs and rotors, a VERY nice upgrade. Only downside is factory centercaps will not fit over the larger hubs in front. The interior has been Bed lined front to back, with SOLID floors, Very nice factory seats, Pioneer Supertuner CD player and dash speakers. Nice older Bestop Supertop with tinted windows. All windows are in Very nice shape with only slight sunburn on back window. There is no backseat in the Jeep. Please look at my website for pics of the underside of the floors. I left them unpainted so you could see that they are RUST FREE! This is a very nice original CJ. Runs great and drives strait and true. I have done a ton of work on her to bring her back into the shape she is in. I left the faded silver paint and original stickers on it because I think it looks cool. You can also see the little bit of rust that is there, and know that she is strait and clean and NOT a bondo baby! I do not do bondo and respray jobs and slap new stickers and try to pass them off as original Renegades or Golden Eagles. (like a lot of the jeeps I see forsale) Look at the pics of the bottom of the floors. Runs and drives very nice, has Hella lights on bumper and an older glasspack style exhaust. I also bed lined the wheel wells and under the hood. You can tell that the brake reservoir leaked at some point eating the paint on the firewall. It also leaked inside on drivers floor, that is why I decided to do the bedliner. I do restore Jeeps for a living, Sometimes I just bring the old girls back to life.
