1977 Jeep Wagoneer, RARE color and engine combo! Tawney Orange with factory 401! This is one AMAZING Wagoneer. I absolutely LOVE IT! I have restored or "refreshed" only what needed to be done and left as much original as I could. This is a Wagg that you could take out to dinner and park next to a BMW and Range Rover, and trust me you will not be the jealous one! This is a thumbs up, smile a mile, cruiser! with a 401 and Magnaflow exhaust it doubles as the family muscle car. OLD JEEPS ROCK! This Arizona original with 0 rust, 90% original paint survivor! I have worked many months to bring this beauty back to life, The body is all original minus the tailgate that I repainted due to a golf ball sized dent near the middle (like the tailgate was lowered on the tongue of a trailer?).I also sprayed under the gas cap and faded into original paint. It suffered the typical gas drip paint issue that many of these old wags have. Everything else was buffed back to a beautiful shine, New woodgrain, original bumpers and trim, all very nice. Hella H4 headlight upgrade. There is a small dent in the passenger door (look at pics) and on the drivers front fender near the side marker light (again look at pics). With that said this is original paint, so there are scratches and chips etc. The motor is the factory 401, TH400, transmission and quadratrac that has been converted with a mile marker part time kit. Now it has true 2WD and 4WD engaged with glove box knob.. The transfercase also has the optional low range unit. The motor was pulled and new gaskets, seals, paint, hoses, plugs, battery, battery cables, belts, fuel pump, etc were installed. It has a Edelbrock aluminum 4 BBL intake and a Edelbrock 4BBl carb. I also installed a HEI distributor with MSD high fire plug wires. This got rid of the pesky autolite ignition system. Previous owner installed a aluminum radiator and does not run warm, even in the Arizona 108 deg heat. The motor was detailed correctly with the correct blue paint and a 401 air cleaner sticker. I also installed a complete brand new 2.5" exhaust system with a Magnaflow muffler. IT SOUNDS AMAZING! deep throaty rumble when you put your "foot in it" but quiet on the hwy. I also installed a hood liner kit, and is getting a new compressor and dryer installed and A/C charged by a professional. Will be done by end of auction. The suspension has a 1" add-a-leaf in front and a 1" block in the rear. There is 4 new Rancho shocks as well. 4 Brand new 235/75/15 White Wall radials. Has the original Spare tire under rear cargo deck. Rides very nice, not bouncy, drives strait and true. Factory front disk and rear drum power brakes. The Interior has new carpet, custom floor mats, Both front and rear seats have been reupholstered with new foam, New headliner (on a original backer board, so it has some pimples under material). I put the original AMC radio back in it. However, you can hear it turn on... but no stations?) I also installed a new plastic glove box liner, with the new "part-time" 4WD switch in it. All the door panels are original and do have some wear at the bottoms in the carpet area (again please look at the pics). The rear panels are also original. They did require new backer boards made, But I reinstalled the original fabric. I like as much original as I can keep. Only restoring what it needs. The dash pad does have a crack in the middle, So I had a custom dash mat made to cover the top of the dash. I can include a crack free dash pad in the sale if the buyer wishes. To install this the windshield needs to be removed and reinstalled after the dash pad has been installed. The power tailgate window works from the key in the tailgate. The dash switch is "in-op" Window goes up and down, only sometimes needing a small helping hand in the last 3" to the top. The tailgate also has brand new felts and seals "wipers" installed. This really is an AMAZING Wagoneer, I restore and refurbish Jeeps for a living, and this is one you don't come across very often. The color and the 401 baby! BUT this is also a 38yr old vehicle. So it "drives and stops like 1977" don't expect this jeep to drive like your modern Tahoe. That being said, this is soooo much cooler than a Tahoe, seriously. 1982 Jeep FSJ Cherokee 4x4 Golden Eagle Tribute. This Jeep draws a crowd wherever it goes. Has the 360 V8 engine, auto transmission, 4x4. The exterior has recent white paint, the Golden Eagle graphic package is new and has custom pinstripping unique to this vehicle. I am interested in selling my 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I am motivated to sell, but don't want to give it away for nothing. Serious buyers, please contact me with any questions. This Jeep has been well loved and enjoyed, only used as a leisure, or 2nd vehicle since it was purchased. I am the original owner and the primary driver for all these years. I previously had a corporate career, which required me to relocate for new job positions.......the Jeep was purchased in Kansas City, KS and resided there for (3) years. After that, the Jeep made it's home for (2) years in Matthews (Charlotte), NC, then (6) years in Spring (Houston), TX, (11) years in McQueeney (New Braunfels), TX, and most recently (5) years in Tucson/Marana, AZ. THE JEEP HAS BEEN GARAGED IN ALL LOCATIONS. The overall condition of this vehicle is noticeably very good. It's condition and appearance are complimented on a regular basis. Woodgrain paneling is in excellent condition. It has original exterior paint (with very few chips); the center hood has just recently starting to show oxidation. The interior condition is very good to excellent and almost looks new. About (6) years ago, I had the headliner redone, as it was deteriorating. At the same time, I had age crack/tear in the driver seat leather repaired. Currently, the center armrest is showing deep cracks, but no tearing. Door locks slip down a bit, and the passenger front door window has recently started slipping down. Radio has stopped working. The heater and A/C work. Original window tint, from 1988, has been recently removed from rear passenger windows, as well as cargo area windows due to increased peeling. De-frost grid needs to re-applied to rear cargo window. A couple of wheel covers need to be replaced. Driver side rear lower panel by bumper has scratch and shallow dent slightly below gas cap. Weather stripping around windows and doors needs replacing. Luggage rack has never been used and is in good condition. Front grill is in good condition. Fog lights have never been used. 4WD works. Original carpeted floor mats are in good condition. Cargo area cover has been used seldom, it's spring needs to be tighter. Hood insulation needs to be replaced. Serious buyers, contact me by e-mail and I can provide a comprehensive batch of photos. On the cargo area photos, the white line is a reflection from the sun shining in the back window (not discoloration). The undercarriage, to the best of my knowledge is rust-free. In the photos, you will notice desert soil, red dirt and red sand residue. We live in the desert here in Tucson (even when you live in a subdivision), it is hard to avoid the dust and dirt. This vehicle has most recently been school transportation for my 17 year old daughter. It was last driven during the fall of 2014 (through December) when we have monsoon rain, street flooding, mud puddles, etc. The route to and from her high school is 20 miles round trip, on paved and/or some gravel road. Even though I have washed the loose dirt from as many places as I can, you will still notice it in the pictures.....especially on the undercarriage. We are currently not driving the Jeep, so have not been able to pressure wash the undercarriage. This vehicle has been worked on by only a few auto shops and personally known mechanics in it's lifetime. I have most (probably not all) of the repair work receipts. The Jeep started requiring specific age related maintenance during the 2nd half of it's life. When moving to Arizona, it was required to pass emissions testing, and was able to do so 2011-2014, after catalytic converter was installed. Since December 2014, the Jeep has been out of service. It needs engine rebuild work in order to solve timing and lifter issues. It starts and engine sounds strong; however, the most recent auto shop that gave estimate for partial engine rebuild, advised not driving it until the engine can be worked on. Currently, the cable for hood latch has snapped and needs replacement....hood must be opened manually. My teenage children (son-19) and (daughter-17), both learned to drive in the Jeep and love it as much as I do. We are now in a situation that my daughter needs an everyday vehicle for school and work, that is reliable, with good gas mileage. That is why I am now looking into selling. (5) Michelin tires (including the spare) were purchased in 2011. They have very little mileage on them. Original window sticker and owner's manual come with the vehicle. 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with 94,000+ miles. - The Jeep has undergone a frame off body restoration - The engine has been rebuilt and it has less than 2500 miles since the rebuild. - includes new rings, gaskets, seals, etc. - Upgraded Radiatior (Aluminum) - Transfer case and transmission were serviced also (new filter and fluids) - Jeep is kept indoors in a warehouse/garage - The 4x4 works perfectly, as does most everything else. - Seats are in great condition with original style ribbed upholstery (no rips or tears, only normal-wear wrinkles on leather) - Carpet was replaced, and looks clean and plush. Floor mats are less than a year old. - New headliner. - AC blows cold and heater blows hot. - Good tires - plenty of thread. - Wheels are polished and look great! -New Pioneer stereo system and aftermarket alarm, with power door lock remote. - Rear window works up/down perfectly. - Power side mirrors do not work, not sure why (loose connector, most likely, as they worked before the Jeep was taken apart for painting, but didn't afterwards - didn't want to take door panels out again, as I rarely move the mirrors on-the-fly, and they can be adjusted manually very easily) - All doors locks work fine, both with the power switches and with the aftermarket remote. - All 4 doors latch in place perfectly with a nice thud, but the driver's door needs a harder nudge than the other 3 for some reason. - Small door ding on one side (no dent, just a light scratch) - The lens on the overhead light came off and was lost during its last trip to the car wash to get detailed. Up for sale is a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the original luxury SUV, ready to go with a clean title. Vehicle runs and drive great. The motor and carb are stock accept for the TFI upgrade I did (with that comes plugs and wires). The motor was also rebuilt before I bought the Jeep. The carb runs rich and will need to be tuned for optimum performance. I have replaced the transfer case with a NP242, but have not installed the linkage in order to shift the case. The vehicle now is in 2WD and the linkage will go with it along with several other parts. I have replaced the starter as well and the battery is less than a year old so it is still under warrantee. The interior needs work, but its nothing a good seat cover cant fix. The front windows work great, the rear door windows don't go down (I think its the tracks), but the tailgate window still works from the outside, interior switch doesn't work anymore. The power seats still work along with the door locks. Roof was coated in elastomeric paint to reflect heat and the inside is lined with insulation, ready for a new headliner. I started a Rhino/Gladiator conversion, but never finished. This is an AZ truck and has no rust and the AC still works and is charged with R12 (will send an additional can with the truck). I am the third owner of this truck and she has served me faithfully, but I am moving out of state and cannot take her with me.
