Selling a very nice 1984 CJ7 Laredo. This is a very special Jeep, and I hate to see it go. This is a special order Garnet and Nutmeg color combination. True collectors know how limited production numbers of this special order combination are out there... not very many. This CJ is a true survivor. All the paint, carpet, interior, etc. is all original. The hood did have a repaint a couple of years ago due to fading. The front fenders have some rock chips and the paint does have some wear. However, keep in mind this is a 33 year old survivor. Overall, this Jeep is in excellent condition. Absolutely zero rust / rot / body repairs ever done to this vehicle. Believe me when I tell you this is a good one! Again, not a pristine, but very very good. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. 4WD engages no problem. All the windows roll up/down perfectly. All gauges are original and still work as they should. Even the clock still works perfectly. Though this Jeep is one of the very best survivors still out there, it is not perfect. The AC is complete and intact, but does not work. Could be something as simple as a fuse or tripped pressure switch, but I never looked in to it. Jeeps are meant to be driven without their tops on! Unfortunately, when I purchased the Jeep, the factory radio did not work. I took it out, bench tested it, and it just didn't work. I brought it to a local electronics repair shop and the guy had no clue what was wrong with it. The radio has been discarded. However, the wiring harness for the radio is complete and uncut. Its still inside the Jeep. The original interior is in excellent condition overall. The driver seat does have a tear on the bottom cushion. This is very common, especially for a vehicle of this age. A seller on eBay sells exact reproduction seat bottoms should you decide to replace it. The passenger seat and rear bench are both in outstanding condition. The window seals will need replacing. No big deal as its an easy job. Also, at some point, the previous owner must have removed or replaced the rear differential cover as it has some green paint on it. Other then these few issues aforementioned, this Jeep is a outstanding. All in all this is an extremely rare, valuable Jeep. The original window sticker and sales invoice come with the Jeep, so that is kind of cool! As you guys have seen, the prices on these just keep going up. i have a 1976 jeep cj7 renegade for sale. i beleive it was one of the first cj7s produced the build date on the jeep is i think december of 1975 or november cj7s were a new model for 1976.it could use a little tlc but ive done most of the hard stuff.it was found on a farm in benson az and brought to tucson az which is where it is now i beleive the old timer i bought it from was the original owner.frame oand tub are rust free the paint however did not survive the az sun.since i purchased the jeep i have put a rough country 2.5 inch liftkit with 1 inch shackles and new shocks,new 33inch bfg all terrains.new aluminum radiator,hei,exhaust from the cat back.edelbrock carb and manifold with an electric puel pump.new top blue and full doors white,i also have a set of half doors tan.ive replace all the seats front and back.im replacing some leaky seals in the transmission front one now,and we just serviced the transfer case we replaced the actuator for the 4wheel drive and fluid.its a good running little jeep ive taken out on some fairly rough trails in az with some jeep clubs and was surprised how well it performed.it got me there and back with out any surprises while i watched many newer jeeps break down,if your interested in building a crawler i have some spare parts for sale new holley projection tbi,new painless cj7 wiring harness,chevy turbo 400 and np203,a matched set of dana 44 axles from a late seventies international scout 2,and a set of yj soa springs
