Wife's 2001 Jaguar XK8 coupeBLACK/BLACK141,000 MilesStarts immediately, runs nice and smooth, accelerates to the red line nicely, shifts properly, cold a/c, heat-defrost in proper working order. Battery holds charge and car starts immediately after lounging for a few days. Power windows, locks, heated seats, lights all work properly. Navigation works as well! Drives straight and true. Steers properly and feels fantastic on the road. Has lights and codes like most of these do eventually. Does run and drive well in spite of that. Wheels and tires fantastic, interior very good with obvious bolster wear on drivers seat. Paint from 10' feet looks excellent, but a closer look it shows some age. Fading on one spot…have close up pic of area. Priced to allow for some improvements, but is a decent example overall. Inspections welcomed and encouraged. Thanks for viewing. For sale is 1997 Jaguar XK8. The car is in good technical and cosmetic condition. The car has 108k original miles, but it recently developed an issue with transmission (ubrupt gear shifts). The transmission gives P1722 code, which requires drum to be replaced ($500 job according to estimate received in a local transmission specialist). We bought the car in 2008 and used it since then, usually on weekends. The car has been garaged and well maintained its entire lifetime. The car has 108k miles. Due to a recent replacement of instrument cluster though, the DMV records show 69k miles, which is not appropriate - the car has 108k. The car is in overall good condition. The exterior has minor dents (please see attached pictures) and scratches, particularly imperfections on the driver's door in beneath the trunk. The interior requires cleaning, but is in overall good shape considering car's age. The engine is in perfect shape.

Exterior:Body is in great shape. Original paint. No dents. A few paint scratches mostly on the doors. Also some wear to the front grill paint (see pic). Interior:The interior is clean. Leather, carpets, and wood trim all in very good condition. Some flaking of the wood veneer on the steering wheel. Also some very minor wear to the leather on the driver seat back (door side). Engine:No mechanical problems. The engine runs smooth. Transmission, electrical, breaks, suspension, AC - all in great shape. I'm the 2nd owner of this Jaguar.
