2000 Jaguar XJR - Oatmeal and Black interior - Silver Exterior - Supercharged V8 - 370 HP - Sport Supension - Sport Seats Selling one of my favorite cars of all time, the hopped up XJR M5 competitor. I hate to see it go but I also have an Audi A7 and two big cars living in SF just doesn't work. Time for a downsize so the Jag must go on to someone who will cherish it. This car is immaculate and only has 64k miles on it. I am the second owner since 2003, I purchased it off of a very nice gentlemen down in Ventura California who kept it in his garage with 8 other vehicles. He only drove it once a month to Santa Maria to visit his daugther and grandkids. So the car lived most its life indoors and away from aging elements and it is obvious when you see it. The paint looks like it just came out of the showroom and has a fresh coat of wax. You have to see it to believe it. The only blemishes are a few small small dings in the body which can easily be removed from a dent repair specialist, I just haven't gotten around to it. The is one small brush on the rear fender which just happened this week, the unfortunate consequences of parking in the city! The car has also been garage kept since I have owned it as well. There is a black mark on the rear quarter panel, it was removed, just a little tar from some road work. I purchased the car in September of 2016 and it just isn't working in our living situation and it should be in the hands of a true Jag lover. Almost all repairs and maintenance have been done. The car has a clean title and has never had any body work done to it. The leather is in great condition and still soft and supple. The carpets are in A+ condition as are the factory floormats. The XJR sitting at 64k is just broken in and ready for the next 5-10 years of driving. All maintenance has been completed in the last few months, including the often failing and expensive to replace dual fuel pumps. The secondary tensioners were changed out 1k miles ago and Jaguar valve cover gaskets were used so no leaks what so ever. At the same time new plugs and air filter were installed. Last month a fresh set of Continental ExtremeContact DW tires were installed. The wheels are in great shape with only a few minor scuffs on two of them and no peeling, see pics. Everything on the car works as it should, including all buttons and features and the car has no burnt out bulbs or illumination anywhere. There is only one small issue with the car that hasn't been addressed, there is a very small coolant leak from one of the hoses. It has not been tracked down yet, so the car requires about 20oz of coolant to to it off every 500 miles or so. This should be a very easy fix. This is really a pristine example of this car. This Jag is as clean as the pics look. There are some issues however that this car has. The plastic pan that covers the bottom of the engine is starting to crack in places that makes a rattle when you go over bumps...annoying! People say just remove it and problem solved. I feel its there for a reason so it stays. Since I've owned the car the cruise control never worked and since I don't like to use cruise control, I never had it fixed. The windshield chrome trim is coming loose and needs re-installed. I had hit a small piece of tire tread on the highway and it broke the glass on the driver side fog lamp. At a local car wash one of the rotating brushes knocked off a rear side marker lens. The pics show the fog lamp and side marker lens. The radio went out recently and because of this, my 6 CD changer wont eject my CD's. Most likely you will get them...Bonus! Now the last thing is the warning lamp came on saying "Gear Box Fluid Low" and so the car sat. The cars computer put the car in a limited performance mode until the fluid is refilled. This is a dealer job as its a sealed transmission. (according to the dealer) and they feel the transmission lines need to be replaced. This car will have to be hauled and not driven home. All the other bells and whistles work great, A/C blows cold, heater works great, heated seats and steering wheel very hot, rear power sun screen works, sunroof works, no leaks... Engine runs strong. New tires all around. There is a lean on the title with Navy Federal Credit Union. Once the payment is received I will pay it off and send you the signed title. He had even contacted the previous owner to obtain the radio security code (for some reason, the original Volvo code was no longer valid).
