NEVADA CAR DEALER 40339, VIN # 6Y81Z115865 I'm selling this cool 1966 Ford Thunderbird on consignment for one of the guys in our car club community here in Vegas... he bought this Nevada car from the original owner (yes a little old lady!).. and like us, really digs the Viva Las Vegas-style custom car scene .. so he put on some nice white paint and pin-striping, blue metal flake roof and wheels , tuned it up with all new plugs, wires, rotor cap, etc. and it purrs like a kitten. only just over 96K original miles on the 390 motor and that is the original interior as well. has the original hub caps and spare in the trunk. the only thing currently not working is the gas gauge. This is a hard to find inspiration yellow with black hardtop model. I've been told that less than 120 were made this way for this model year. Many custom features - chrome hood bezel, chrome tail lamp covers, chrome side molding, chrome rocker panel molding, chrome license plate frame, chrome door handles, chrome V* emblems, and chrome fender moldings. I'm actually the second owner (the first owner moved from New Jersey to Florida shortly after purchasing it so it appears as two owners) and the car has spent most of its life in sunny (no salted roads) Florida. Car is mechanically excellent and recently serviced. No accidents. Convertible top is like new from the factory as the car was driven with the hardtop on for most of its life. Car has an extended warranty that expires in 38 months and 48,200 miles that states I can transfer it to an individual owner. This warranty would cost you $4013 if you purchased it on your own, but will come with this car at no cost to you! This will give you peace of mind. This car is beautiful and will not disappoint the buyer. It was my pride and joy and only reason for selling it is due to health reasons. 2003 Ford Thunderbird. This car is absolutely immaculate. The car has NEVER seen winter bad roads nor ever been wet as is evidenced by every nut and bolt on the car. It is triple black. It is all-steel construction with all components welded in and skim coated smooth – an amazing feat! The body is all hand-formed steel of a ’57 Ford Thunderbird with a variety of body modifications. Tom Culberston of Culberston’s Customs (Indianapolis) originally built Roxanne. The inspiration for this radical custom came from the show cars built by Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and George Barris in the ’50 and ’60s. Finished in a brilliant gold metallic paint, this custom roadster definitely plays off a golden motif. The large rear tailfins give the iconic cult look, helping this car look like a rocket ship! Other exterior modifications to this roadster include 1959 Lincoln headlights, 1959 Buick taillights, shaved door handles, custom grille and tail panels and a chopped windshield. There is a hairline stress crack inside the right headlight, barely noticeable but there. This astounding custom sits on four five-spoke wheels wrapped in whitewall Dimension All Season tires measuring P205/75R14. A striking feature is the fully-custom white Naugahyde vinyl seen not only on the interior but also the wheel wells, engine bay and even the hood pad!
