When we stripped the engine down, it was completely trashed, it had blown out one cylinder entirely and crushed the piston. We purchased a Reconditioned GT-40 Shortblock and had a local engine shop rebuild the motor with the parts we chose. Willy at DDR out of Virginia did the tuning.While it was out, we went ahead and took care of the transmission front to back, throwout bearing, bearing retainer, gearset, etc.The car comes with the stock A9L with the Custom tune from DDR. I also have a DIYPNP From Megasquirt running the latest software. The A9L with the F3 chip comes with the car (runs better than the MS as of right now) but for $300 I will include the DIYPNP and a Innovate MTX-L Wideband O2 sensor so you can Auto-tune the MS while you drive. (The MSPNP for the Mustangs are almost $800 plus $200 for the Innovate Sensor) I have a new pair of headlights to replace aging units and I have a spare taillight and lens incase the small crack causes a problem in your state. These come with the Mustang. I also have a Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower brace (not currently installed) that comes with the Mustang. Problems:AC is installed, all hoses and cables present. (Not hooked to compressor in photo). Will obviously need to be charged. Runs R12 currently. I cannot confirm function. Dash light on for the low-coolant level sensor for radiator overflow. This sensor goes bad on all Foxbodies and most people just disable it. There is also a dashlight for a airbag sensor, again this is a frequent problem that most people just disable when they install an aftermarket steering wheel.Have title in hand.Trades: Corvettes, Antique/Classic Cars. 1991 Mustang GT with Cobra conversion including 4-wheel disk brakes, aluminum spare, etc. Car has clean accident history with all serial number tags present on fenders, doors, hatch, front bumper, etc. Red with Black interior. This is an extremely clean car. Title is clean & clear. Mileage of 161,000 is accurate and can be traced through title registrations from previous owners due to registration with DMV. As you may know mechanical odometer limitations on the FOX body cars is 100k. Realistically there are VERY FEW Fox body Mustang's with fewer than 100k, regardless of what someone advertises. I have removed the air-conditioner for a cleaner look & ease of working on the engine. I still have the AC, brackets, tubes, etc that will go with the car. It's an easy re-install. Car is extremely fast. It is very clean and all of the body panels line up perfectly as they should. Negatives: The cowl was damaged slightly. Rear drivers-side fender-well where the fender was rolled needs slight repair. Rear bumper cover has a small approx 1-2" crack on the corner. Side skirt on drivers side needs slight repair & touch-up where the door was dragging before I replace the door hinge-pin. Passenger side door does not drag however the pin could use replacement. Drivers-side seat has a small tear in the side. I've tried to show the defects in the photos. Heater core needs replacing. All body work needed has been estimated at $1,000.00. The horn & cruise control just stopped working, it may be the clock spring. I will entertain SERIOUS offers taking these things into consideration. Even with these few flaws this is a VERY NICE 24 year old Fox Mustang. Very good driving car - steers straight with no shakes or vibrations. Serious inquires only. I have tried to be as forthcoming as possible. If you have always wanted a supercharged, aluminum headed Fox body, this is your chance to get a really nice car. I always recommend making the effort to see a car in person. I really believe you will not be disappointed, even with the few minor issues. Cash in person only. No checks of any kind.
