For sale is a 1962 Ford Falcon Sedan. This car has been one of my daily drivers for a year and has been gone through and upgraded to handle modern driving but still have classic looks, The motor is a Ford inline 6 (250) from a 1973 Ford Maverick and has been rebuilt and runs well. the transmission is a strong C4, and backed up with a Ford 8" rear with 2:75 gears. the car has drum brakes all around, but are to an upgraded size to 10.5", opposed to the stock 9", all four corners were rebuilt as well as the master cylinder and hard lines. Front suspension was rebuilt with all new upper and lower control arms, spring seat shocks inner and outer tie rods as well as the idler arm and rear shocks. The interior was restored by the previous owner and looks and feels great. stock bench seat was removed for a power seat and is very comfortable. In all it has been a very great car but I no longer have time to upgrade the things I wish to and would be good to pass it on to a new owner, The issues with the car are minimal but any old car has quirks. Rust on the car is only in the trunk pan but have been isolated and covered, as well as the floor-pans, Not my personal work but the quarter panels, rockers and so on are in great shape and covered with POR-15 to insure they stay that way. The car is a great weekend car or perfect candidate for an early 60s muscle car project. Falcons are getting expensive and finding good examples is getting hard! Feel free to message me with further questions if interested. Mileage is estimated to be 108,000 on the body.

Extremely well finished, work like this is common on cars costing tens of thousands of dollars more, but with this car you get all the performance of a Mustang combined with a unique shape that has aged particularly well. Blending economy, performance, and style, the Falcon really was a do-it-all kind of car. You could outfit it to suit your tastes, and apparently someone want this to be a slick little sleeper that was comfortable for cross-country jaunts. You could paint it some flashy color, but the silvery blue finish on it today is far more interesting, don't you think? The tidy hardtop bodywork was treated to a makeover that gives it the look of a -scale Galaxie and the detailing on the fenders and through the quarter panels is quite good. Gaps and panel alignment are decent and the year-old paint shines up beautifully thanks to modern materials. And this was no stripped-down base model, either, and as a result it's dressed up with plenty of jewelry, ranging from the arrow-shaped side trim to the beautifully sculpted bumper that frames the taillights, to the neat little "bombsight" fender ornaments up front. Nothing was modified or deleted, once again suggesting that someone restored this car because they loved it, not because they were trying to make money from it. Light blue bucket seats give the stylish interior a far more upscale look than you'd expect from Ford's economy car. The pleated seat covers look fresh and flank a correct center console with bright lid, so there's a bit of contrast in the otherwise all-blue interior. Simple door panels recall just a touch of the 1950s with their shiny materials and lots of polished trim. The familiar instrument panel is in decent original condition and there's a modern tach down low on the B&M shifter, as well as a set of auxiliary dials under the dash. The factory-issued AM radio is long gone, replaced by a later AM/FM/cassette head unit, but that's OK because this car was built to cruise. The trunk is nicely detailed as well, and includes a reproduction plaid mat, a vintage spare tire, and the remote-mounted battery. Stuffing a 302 cubic inch V8 in a lightweight car works really well; just ask Carroll Shelby. In this Falcon, it makes for entertaining acceleration around town and it's a lot of fun to play with that flexible torque curve on the street. An open-element air cleaner from Edelbrock adds a racy look, with matching finned valve covers that aren't exactly stock but look pretty darned cool. Ford Blue engine enamel pops against the satin black engine bay, and you can see that a lot of the work is quite fresh and the sucker runs great. Long-tube headers with cut-outs sound awesome, but the newer stock exhaust makes for mellow cruising speeds. A quick-shifting automatic transmission and highway-friendly gears make it mild-mannered on the open road and they've thoughtfully added a set of subframe connectors to reinforce the structure. A slightly lowered stance and chrome wheels with baby moon hubcaps give it just a bit of attitude, and it rides on fat BFGoodrich T/A radials all around. This is a neat little car that shows quite well and runs great. Falcons are seeing some new-found appreciation these days, and I wouldn't expect nice ones like this to remain affordable forever. Why not commute in style instead of in some anonymous rental return? Despite its tidy dimensions, Ford packs a lot of style into its popular compact model. Looking a lot like a 7/8-size Galaxie, it has a bit of Thunderbird in the front fenders, a slick hood scoop, and, of course, Ford's attractive jet-inspired taillights. The bright red paint job on this one accentuates the crisp body lines with two shades of gray that look right on the vintage sheetmetal and give this affordable classic a very upscale look. The workmanship is actually quite good, which you might not expect at this price, but someone obviously did this one with love rather than profit as their motive. Is it perfect? Of course not. But aside from a few bumps and bruises that are merely evidence of being driven and enjoyed, it's still plenty flashy. There's also a lot of brightwork that will satisfy any fan of the era, from the nicely detailed grille and fender ornaments to the bright chrome rear bumper and FALCON block letters on the rear panel. The interior isn't totally correct, but it sure looks great! Those are the original seats, now covered with handsome red fabric seat inserts that duplicate the original patterns and are a lot more comfortable than the original vinyl. Close to the same shade as the bright red bodywork, it's a combination that would look at home on an upscale European import as much as on this sturdy Ford. They also made up a set of matching door panels, and fitted red carpets that contrast nicely with the black floor mats, so it's clear that some money has been spent here. The steering wheel is nicely finished in red as well, and without so much as an AM radio, it has an honest 1960s look that many of us, tired of technology in our cars, might find refreshing. And despite being a small car, this Falcon has a spacious trunk with what appears to be the original mat and a full-sized spare tire. They say that everything goes in cycles, and despite the horsepower wars warming up in the early '60s, the Falcon instead went with style and economy instead of brute horsepower. The 170 cubic inch inline-six works well with the lightweight Falcon, and delivers impressive fuel mileage, even today. The engine bay is tidy, the block wears correct black engine enamel with bright red tinwork, and all the belts and hoses are recent so it's ready to go. It exhales through a single exhaust system, as original, and the automatic transmission delivers smooth shifts and remains unobtrusive in traffic. The undercarriage, as you can see in the photos, is clean but not detailed for show, making this a solid, reliable car that's ready for anything. Even the tires are economical, being modest 185/80/13 whitewall radials with factory wheelcovers. Whatever you're looking for, whether it's an affordable hobby car or just fun transportation, this Falcon delivers. Beautiful two owner rust free well cared for Falcon Futura. This was a cover car for the May 2013 Issue of "The National Falcon News" publication. We have tons of receipts for work completed on the vehicle including: fresh tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, carburetor rebuild, new belts, new hoses, new fuel pump, etc). New shocks have also been installed all the way around with new brakes as well. Factory power steering so the car can be steered with 1 finger. New dual exhaust, front to back, the car sounds great! The engine compartment has been professionally detailed to original specifications including correct decals. Rebuilt radiator as well. Inside the car has the original two tone blue vinyl bucket seat covers which are still in nice condition with minimal wear and the original short center console with automatic column shift. The interior also has new door panels, new carpet, and a new headliner. Dash board is in nice condition with some minor color fading on the plastic inserts. The trunk has the original paint to verify correct color along with the original trunk mat. Outside it has all new paint in the original Skylight blue color. All trim was removed from the car and all the moldings including the grill were polished and freshly triple plated original front and rear bumpers were installed. It also has all original "Carlite" glass. Nice, correct wire wheel hub caps and recent radial whitewall tires. Car runs and drives great! Ready to be shown and driven anywhere! Please contact me if you would like more pictures or information.

Nice car with all original trim pieces and starts right up. Has a few small dents rear passenger corner panel and on trunk, small like maybe a car door ding'd it, not major damage. Front bumper isn't perfect but not terrible and there is damaged area of driver flooring mat area., I tried to get pics of any defects. It is showing 58k miles, it was originally purchased in Texas so it was in very dry climate so very little rust. It traveled with owner here to GA but was never tagged here in Georgia. It has been lovingly cared for by previous owners. Starts right up and desiccants used in interior while not in use to keep moisture out of interior. Feel free to call with questions. steve 404-509-4468

Here is a 1961 Ford Falcon 2 Door Wagon with a good running 289 V8 connected to a C-4 transmission. It has Aluminum Radiator and Electric Fan to keep it running cool. Starts up easy and sounds good. It has disc brakes on front but not power. It has manual steering. Added was a Vintage A/C system that seems to work good. It has a custom paint job done in Black with Blue Flames. ( Driver Quality paint ) The door handles have been taken off and shaved to give that slick look. There are some nicks and a few bubbles on bottom of rear quarter panels on both sides but not bad. All the glass is good except the back glass has a crack in it. The seats have been recovered in black leatherette material and has new headliner. The carpet is good. It has a stereo system that has been added as well. Overall a good driver quality car that will get you alot of attention. Could be really nice with a little more TLC. Not many of these around anymore. I have alot more pics if anyone wants to see more just let me know. This car is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know what you are actually getting. This must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and you are the high bidder at end of auction then you own it. This car is being sold with a current Georgia registration which serves as the title in Georgia. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask as I have tried to describe best I could but may have missed something. Thanks for looking.

Professional install new floor pans and toe boards (only needed in front) the drip edge around the car had caulk all in it and it was all removed ground to metel prepped and painted, trim put back on. master cylinder and complete all new drum brakes, machined to fit so they work the best drum brakes can. all new belts hoses plugs etc. I have the receipt and the restoration shop that did the work. there are several items. I wanted it to run and drive as good as it can. everything is here and you can drive it anywhere. the spare is in the case (cover is cracked) really this is probably the best most original one you will see.
