DETAILS are below photos TEST DRIVE IT …. hear the awesome sound and see the performance by watching the “test drive VIDEO” - click FIRST picture above. What is was originally -VS- what it is now What it was originally This car is no longer as “originally built”. However it does come with the Marti Report, which documents that it was a very high option car sold new in California. What it is now No longer “as factory built”, this car is now a “performance oriented build” that dramatically out performs its original state. Wrapped in a visually stunning package, it now goes fast, sounds amazing doing it and blows COLD air on demand. Blend of old & new The vintage “high performance” 302 Mustang block and 9” NODULAR rear end are “links to the past” while almost everything else is modern high performance technology. Staying true to the fundamentals that made Mustang famous, this is a “skillfully built” driveline that uses some key period correct components that are have been dramatically enhanced with modern upgrades. The results are a fast FUN car that draws a crowd of admirers everywhere it goes. Dyno 370.6hp / documented The goal of this build was to enjoy the performance, the sound and the visuals all wrapped in what many think is the ultimate vintage Mustang, the 1967 fastback. The performance in this car comes from a motor that is worthy of being on a display stand for “motor head admiration”. However this motor is much more than looks, with a DYNO documented 370-horse power, it provides exhilarating acceleration. The engine was assembled and Dyno broke in and produced 370.6 HP at 5750 RPM on 93 octane. The Dyno sheets are included in the Documentation Binder. The sound from the exhaust is courtesy of ceramic coated Headman hedders connected to a beautiful Magnaflow STAINESS system with a X-Pipe. It has a fantastic exhaust note at idle which then roars into thundering pitch that only a well built high horse American V8 can make. Listen to it in the test drive VIDEO. The visuals, both exterior and interior are vintage 1967 Mustang fastback “slightly amped up” with bight red paint from a 2008 Mustang and Lemans style Stripes. The interior with the exception of “upgraded vintage gauges” is stock 1967 Mustang with the deluxe brushed aluminum accents added. This car has eye-popping good looks. The driveline build / “best of everything” To professionally duplicate this “motor & full driveline” could run north of $20,000. This was NOT a “budget restricted” build. Rather, it was an attempt to get it RIGHT using the latest compatible technology for a regular aspirated motor. According to the builder of this car, the engine is a 1970 Boss 302 “service block” and 1970 Boss 9” NODULAR rear with new POSI internals from DTS. I have provided pictures of these items for you numbers guys. Below are SOME of the details taken directly from the documentation binder listing the components used in the build …. I have listed what is shown in the documentation binder so please note that it is possible that one or more of these items could have been changed in the either the 1st or 2nd build phase. - 4 bolt main block, screw in freeze plugs, boiled & line honed. - Crankshaft is 70 Boss steel - Rods are Eagle H beam - Diamond Pistons - Complete rotating assembly is balanced - Competition Cams - roller 576int 600 exh Crane roller rocker arms - Cylinder heads are 68 maxed out be flow technology - Intake manifold is Port matched Edelbrock, single plane torquer powder coated clear - Carb PRO Systems ordered to spec for this engine - Flow Technologies Oil Pan - MSD Distributor & Cap - MSD Ignition coil and rev limiter - Custom Ignition wire set - DSE Power Steering Pump - Front Runner serpentine System - Hedman headers, ceramic coated - Exhaust is Magnaflow X pipe stainless - Transmission is a TCI C4 Streetfighter. - Torque converter is also TCI Saturday night special. - transmission mounts are polyureathane. - Rear Axle is a 1970 Boss 9” N Case (Nodular) with a new 4.11 posi set up from DTS - DTS driveshaft was built and balanced with -heavy duty u joints also from DTS - Brakes are disc front and everything is new, including rotors, calipers, seals, bearings and powder coated splash shields. -Drum rear also. Everything new, powder coated drums. - Has LED tail lights Aluminum Radiator / Electric Fan / American Autowire Wiring Harness History / built in 2 phases over last 5 years This was NOT a budget constrained build. Literally thousands of dollars and countless hours have been invested. You simply could NOT build this car for the Buy-it-Now price. This car belonged to a friend of mine who is now converting his small private collection from “non-original builds” to factory original stock condition cars. I have had it a couple months and have driven it issue free. It is not only exciting to drive, it also seems to be reliable with no bad habits. My friend purchased this as a freshly finished build from the fellow who originally completed it in 2009. At this point it was already a nice build, but in 2013 a decision was made to take it to an even “higher level” using a well know Houston Texas shop called Texas Built Muscle Cars. For this 2nd phase of the build, there is approximately $13,000 in receipts for the final enhancements that included among other things the additional of a modern “Front Runner System” and modern heat and “air conditioning” by Vintage Air. The air BLOWS COLD. Condition With less than 1,000 miles on this build, it shows little evidence of wear and can be driven with confidence and presented at any car show with pride. Paint & Body A truly laser straight body with stunning slick high gloss paint that has that deep wet look. The builder of this car indicated that it was stripped to bare metal and had an excellent original panel body. The documentation album contains some pictures of the car in bare metal. This is a California car and from what I can see I would say that it appears to be an original panel car including quarter panels and even the lower inner quarter drops. The paint is approximately 5 years old and remains stunning with the only notable flaws that I found being one tiny issue on the fiberglass hood and a few tiny bubbles on the lower body. Additionally the undercarriage appears to be solid and original other than the replacement of the drivers front floor pan. Documentation Binder / a must have GOOD NEWS …. This car comes with a “documentation binder” that provides among other things, original manufacturer information on the specific components used in the build as well as some of the receipts from the build and notes from the builder. This is often missing on modified cars but with this car you know the important details. my eBay “Seller” feedback Please take time to review the eBay “seller feedback” on me selling NOTHING but quality Classic Cars like this one. However, there is no such thing as a "PERFECT" vehicle...especially when dealing with vintage vehicles. This is not a new vehicle; it is decades old. Even a restored or partially restored vehicle can and will have flaws and normal wear and tear congruent to its age and/or mileage. It is the responsibility of the buyer and/or buyers agent to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle (prior to the end of the eBay listing), and to have satisfied themselves as to the condition and value and to bid or offer based upon that judgment solely. Arranging for an independent third-party inspection is a great way to validate a seller's claims about a vehicle's condition. There are many companies and individuals who offer such a service. These services are listed on the internet and can be found in most collector car magazine publications. Of course your personal inspection and scrutiny are suggested and most welcomed. Any and all inspections must occur PRIOR to the end of this eBay listing. The seller has made a diligent effort to accurately describe any known material defects associated with this vehicle. Additionally, the seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose at the “buyer's request prior to the end of the eBay listing” any additional specific details important to the Buyer.
