This Boss was a very original car with great sheet metal and no rust, the perfect candidate for the Rotisserie Restoration that was finished in 2007. All of the panels and gaps are very straight. The body has no patches or bondo repair. This car is documented 1 of 411 1970 Sport-roof Mustangs built with 302-4V Boss engines that were equipped with Shaker hood and 4.30 locking differentials. Documentation includes Window Sticker, Deluxe Marti Report, Lois Eminger Report, and Ford 999 Report. As the documentation shows only 2 examples were produced with this Color and option combination. The powertrain is as follows, the engine coded (D1ZE) 302 is a service replacement, 4 Speed close-ratio transmission, W Coded 4.30 locking differential. More ordered options are Engine Oil Cooler, Shaker hood, Interior décor group, tachometer, AM radio, rear spoiler, tinted glass, original FoMoCo stamp dated Magnum 500 wheels. The car has been featured in publications, has won 1st place at SAAC Nationals, has registration documents, and last but not least autographed by Parnelli Jones. The car is equipped with power steering, front disc brakes, heat and a/c, AM radio, in dash tach, and tinted glass. The interior appears original with Deluxe Mach 1 trim, Clarion high back bucket seats, and full length console. All of the gauges and radio are in working condition. The body of the car is very solid with no patches and no signs of rust. The car has been professionally restored to the original paint scheme of Calypso Coral with Black Hood Stripe.
