Up for sale is a 1990 Ford Mustang GT. This car in in good shape. I has been converted to carbureted. The whole engine was rebuilt from the ground up. Its bored .30 over new pistons rings, bearings. Trickflow stage 1 cam, Weind stealth dual plane intake, 1" carb spacer, cool carb plate, and a Quickfuel slayer series 600 cfm carb. all components on the engine are new the starter, power steering pump, water pump, bbk aluminum under drive pulleys, 200amp power master alternator. the whole engine is new. The engine and all the components have about 2500 miles on them. The fuel system is all new, Holley red pump, 2/8 fuel line, to 6an steel braided line, Holley regulator auto meter fuel pressure gauge. It has a new clutch, and fly wheel, with the stock T5 transmission a transmission shop said it was in great shape. The rear end is an 8.8 all rebuilt with 3.55 gears posi. The rims are black 03-04 Cobra wheels with new tires which also have about 2500 miles on them. The interior has a all black 93 cobra dash, red front and rear seats, New black carpet in the car and trunk. Power windows work but locks do not needs a electric lock mechanism in one of the doors. It has a Cervini 4in. cowl hood. which needs paint. It has one piece headlights and cobra grill with the house emblem powder coated black. The only thing the car really needs is some paint. Its not terrible the way it looks now but It has a few spots of surface rust nothing major or serious sanding it will get rid of it. This car has a lein on it from First source federal credit union in NY state and it will be satisfied with the payment for the car. This car is ready to drive and ready to go. Ok, This is a project car that does not need much to finish. What it needs to be cherry is a new top and seals, minor interior pieces and maybe some new seats, exterior sand and paint only a couple of small dents in the body with no rust. A run on the dyno and some reprogramming to the computer will net another 40-50 hp and smooth out the surges. There those are the negatives. If that scares you don't read any further. For those of you that are 5.0 fox-body enthusiast this car is well worth the selling price. It is one of 1500 built. Parts are still available for the McClaren option of these cars. I got this car as a project and have worked on it for the last 4 years but now need money to pay medical bills so I am going to let this one go. What I have done is as follows: Rebuilt the rear end with new bearings/seals larger drum brakes and 5 lug axles (3:27 gear ratio) added an aluminum drive shaft. Replaced the old AOD with a 1993 truck AOD that I overhauled with kevlar (extra clutches) and carbon (2in OD band with A servo) and harden input shaft, reprogrammed with a transgo shift kit / high rev kit. I kept the stock truck converter in for smooth daily driving. The tranny will hold 650-750 hp (non-nitrous) applications. The chassis has heavy springs for holding the road and I added KYB shocks in the front and sub-frame weld in conectors to stiffing up this already stiff body, poly motor and tranny mounts, new rack and pinion steering, tie rod and ball joints, SN 95 five lug hubs and A arms 17 X 9 inch Bullet Wheels with BF Goodrich 245s in front and 275s in rear. I moved the battery to the trunk with 00 welding cable so electrical power loss in not a problem added a generation 6 alternator running 160 amps and a Lincoln two speed electric fan and 4 core aluminum radiator / tranny cooler to keep it cool. A new power steering pump was added as well. The exhaust is ceramic coated S/S shorty headers through a S/S X pipe and Flowmaster 40s. (no cats). The engine system is controlled by a 1993 Computer so it is now a MASS air (not speed density) with BBK cold air intake and BBK 70MM throttle body and pro comp MASS air unit (80MM). The ford cobra style upper and lower intake have been ported to match the Aluminum Trick Flow twisted wedge "O-Ringed" 180 heads running 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves with S/S Competitions Cams 1.6 roller rockers. The engine has the stock 10:1 TRW forged pistons with new chrome moly rings, new lifters, new high volume oil pump, new E303 Cam, new water pump, new adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 30lb gen II injectors, New 255lph fuel pump, aluminum under drive pulleys, new tall valve covers and a BBK 1 inch nonmetallic spacer between the upper and lower intake. The Car, engine and transmission have about 20000 mile on it since all the work has been done except the heads were added about 5000 miles ago. The engine / transmission is set up for a turbo or supercharger bolt on application that I never got around to adding. The price of the parts in this car that I have added are worth more than the asking price.This car is very fast and has a lot of potential. I don't drive it much anymore but it drives just fine. Freight is on the buyer. Local pick-up recommend. Sold as is with no warranty. All sales are final with no returns.
