I have up for Sale a all original 1966 ford mustang factory 289/Automatic with factory A/C. Everything on this car is what came with the car. This car was a one family car up until the date we purchased it this year. Mileage in the car shows to be 26,500 I do not have documentation to prove this to be original mileage all I have is word of mouth from the previous family. This car had sit in a garage from the mid 1970's till 2004 at that time it went to a Local very well known rod shop here in Chattanooga, TN where it went under a get running and driving resto. The only thin that was done at that time was New brake lines pads and shoes, New power steering lines and hoses original pump was rebuilt, New gas tank installed all fuel lines cleaned along with new fuel pump and Carb was rebuilt. Also done was all the rest of the basics new plugs, wires, dist cap, coil. Valve cover gaskets were replaced and the breather and valve covers were powder coated back ford blue. The transmission was also gone threw at this time to get back in perfect shape. The whole interior of this car is original too the car and was not touched at this time so yes it still smells like a 1966 time capsule of smell. The factory A/C was swapped over to the new 134 at this time also. After all this was done it went back to a Garage where is was driven Less than a 1000 miles over the next 11 years after being brought to life. When I recived the car I did a fresh oil change, radiator fluid flash and new fuel filters with new shocks. The pictures will speak for there self on this car on what has been done It really is Like seeing this car in the late 60's and 70's. As seen in the pics There is nothing hidden under the car It is also as original as the rest of the car It has never had black paint to cover anything up what you can see is a car that has spent it life in a garage. If you are looking for a near perfect all original 1966 Ford Mustang this is it. The original Sauterne Gold Metallic paint is in great shape with only one dent and that is where the original Bert Brown Ford sticker is on the rear deck lid. This car runs and drives perfect and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. the tires are New Redline BFG tires with a Matching BFG Redline spare.
