This 1926 Ford Model T Tudor sedan is a running and driving example of our automotive history on wheels. The Model T is one of the most honest classic cars in the hobby. But with even with over 15 million produced, this one will let you standout at the car show. After all, the touring cars and roadsters are a much more common site than a fully enclosed body two-door sedan like this one. Finished in (what else?) basic black, this Model T has an honest, sensible look to it, both serious and unpretentious. There's a love for these that transcends generations, and there are plenty of period-correct details that all members of the family can enjoy. The paint is neither too glossy nor totally worn out, showing a soft shine that looks like this has only been in service for a few years. But what's really impressive is the Henry Ford steel is turning 90 years old, but the panels still fit quite well today. The doors open and close easily and a tight fit to the hood, all of which suggest this Model T has led a good life. The later cars like this had a bit less brass, but the radiator shell has a soft patina that adds some much-needed contrast to the all-black Ford and the rear-mounted spare is the archetypal "antique car" styling element. The interior remains a simple affair, just as it had when it left the factory all those decades ago. A closed body means the ability to have comfortable cloth seats, and these were nicely restored with correct pleated contours are straight out of the '20s. It's the same story for the headliner and side inserts. Controls were simple, and it's quite easy to master driving a Model T with just a few minutes of familiarization with the three pedals and the hand throttle. The fat steering wheel makes navigation easy, and the view from up high is commanding. We are obviously decades away from air conditioning, but ventilation is still quite good thanks to the push out windshield and roll down front windows. The Model T's powerplant was the trusty 177 cubic-inch inline-four, which was rated at about 20 horsepower. It might not seem like much, but it feels plenty powerful thanks to a well-engineered setup with good low-end torque and smart gearing. Once it's in high gear, this T is happy to cruise at 35 MPH without complaints. The block is finished in black with its correct updraft carburetor, that's still fed by gravity to keep things simple. In fact, that's how to view this whole car. You'll be surprised at how much you'll enjoy driving it, and how intuitive the maintenance is. Better yet, on this particular car the current seller/consignor recently paid several thousand dollars to have the entire transmission system professionally rebuilt. So that's one less worry to have for the next owner of this fantastic automobile. The 21-inch painted wood wheels on bias ply tires are the final touch to ensuring that this full period-correct package feels 1920s-accurate going down the road. This is exactly how you want to enter the Model T hobby. Here's an affordable and complete car that has a distinctive body for very little cash. You can slip behind the wheel today and feel like you grandparents, or better yet, fire it up and take your younger generations out for a memorable ride. That is the extra bonus item included with the purchase of this car ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! Fun. Just buckets of it waiting for you to get your share from behind the wheel! This car is a freshly completed build by a Hot Rod shop owner in central Florida, and it is about as clean a car as you could ask for! The car consists of a Total Performance body, California Custom Roadsters rails, Speedway ordered suspension bits, and completely reworked 350ci V8 with brand new 350 Turbo transmission. The TPI body is in fantastic condition, and just like the rails, rear end, and pretty much everything else, was carefully prepped for accepting the gorgeous Dark Brown Mica Metallic finish. Mixed directly from the PPG color chart for a 2007 Camry, the color is easy to match if you need to, and provides a rich looking finish in a sea of black and yellow cars. The finish is glossy, slick, and wet looking all around, and has been painstakingly hand striped from front to back to contrast with the finish and match the neutral colored steel wheels. The car has really not been driven much, so it shows less than a handful of truly minor little marks like tiny scuffs/stone chips and things on the painted areas. The rear end has been smoothed and painted as well, and looks amazing, as do the frame rails from front to back. Again, practically no sign of use to be found, just normal dirt/grime from not being professionally detailed. The builder fabricated a custom built, removable rear storage rack that looks amazing, and has the strength and room to hold a cooler, show chairs, and whatever else you might need for a day of cruising. It really gives the car a great look, especially with the 15 gallon spun aluminum gas tank with vent positioned in front of it! Aluminum also contributes the frame for the glass windshield, which is crack and damage free. It has vintage style chrome mounts, and a chrome round mirror on the driver side. The car rolls on brand new Wheel Vintique Steelies wrapped in fresh, skinny radial tires. The combo up front is P235/75R15 in the back with chrome lug nuts and trim ring, with like-new DHTZ radial tires. Up front, skinner 185/65R15 Douglas Xtra-Trac II radials are wrapped around matching steelies with chrome trim rings, lug nuts, and centers. All of it looks like new, and has less than 300 test and break-in miles on it since completion. Chrome vintage style side steps make getting in and out of the car a breeze for driver or passenger. The OEM theme continues at the back of the car with vintage looking chrome tail lamps, including driver side license plate mount with light. Polished aluminum head lamp mounts prop up the massive chrome head lights, which seem to light up the world when they are on. All of the chrome and bright work still looks new because it basically is! This car was freshly done, and has just an estimated 300 miles or less on it, as well as the majority of the components. Chassis on the car in the back consists of a painted Speedway 4-bar set up including polished and powder coated coil-over shocks, and a narrowed, smoothed, and cleanly finished 8” rear end packed with 2.79 gears. Up front, Wintec was tapped for the entire front suspension system, which was also treated to the Dark Mica finish, along with all new hardware and components. The chassis was carefully aligned and adjusted, and the rear drum brakes and front disc units were perfectly adjusted to bring the car down from speed without any drama, pulling, or excess fade. It rides fantastic, doesn’t feel choppy on the road, and tracks normally without pulling or catching thanks to the narrower modern radial tires. The engine block was sourced from a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette according to the prior owner/builders notes, and the block casting number and casting date number would support that. The 350ci 2-Bolt Main engine was thermos cleaned, peened, tumbled, and then magnafluxed to check for any hairline cracks or issues. After passing muster, the decks were surfaced, cylinders bored, and that other good stuff the machinist does before it was completely reassembled with all new internals, gaskets, and accessories. This was a stock-type rebuild, with OEM spec internals, so you don’t have to worry about it having a crazy cam or having to constantly wrench on it! All new seals, gaskets, and hardware throughout made sure the build looked as fresh as it was. Power is plentiful, and the car will spin tire for days if you want, but still run at highway speeds without killing itself thanks to the highway friendly gears. An HEI distributor feeds all new plugs, JEGS Performance plug wires, and ignites the fuel for the Edelbrock Performer 1406 carb. This 600cfm square-bore unit is the perfect match for the Edelbrock Performer intake on the car, and gets fuel to everything without any issues. Wondering what the cool air breather is? It is an old vintage bed pan that was reworked for the car! A polished aluminum custom radiator with custom aluminum fan keeps things running super cool, with all new hoses, gaskets, and waterpump. Performance starter fires it up every single time, and all new custom wiring with modern harness makes sure the electrical is just as perfect as the rest of the car. The engine was matched to a brand new 350 Turbo transmission, which has a 2,500rpm stall, 10” converter, and gets direction from the B&M Shifter with vintage style crystal ball topper. Mechanically, the car is all sorted out, and it starts perfectly, runs wonderfully, and has proven to be reliable and clean running during my tenure with the car. I have driven the car about 75 miles myself, and it is a BLAST! It handles great, can be guided by one hand, and does everything it is supposed to do VERY well! There are no known electrical, mechanical, or functional issues with the car at this time, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Inside, the tub was finished out with all-weather capability in mind. It is covered from the sides to the seat in marine grade vinyl done in a vintage pleated style and two-tone for a classic look. Upholstery shows little, if any, signs of being used. The prior owner/builder was about 6’2 and 195 pounds, so he made sure there is plenty of room to get around inside the car. I am 5’11” and about 250 and I fit just fine in it too. Lokar supplied the spoon chrome gas pedal and OEM style brake pad, which are both to the right of the column for easy access. An OEM style column has a vintage turn signal/ hazard light control affixed to it, and is topped by a custom made all aluminum steering wheel. Three different shift trim rings are included with the car, so when you decide if you want any kind of floor covering, you can use them to affix the boot. A master battery shut-off is conveniently floor mounted as well, and works as it should. Dash is painted and finished, and has Stewart Warner gauges for OIL pressure, and WATER temp on each side of the centrally located SPEEDO with odometer. Speedo still needs a cable to hook it up to the 350 transmission, so you can say you did SOMETHING to the car! After the initial build and shake down was complete, the car was disassembled for paint, powdercoat, and upholstery work. It was then rebuilt, driven about 225 miles by the builder, and another 75 or so by me. Now, you can start with zero and roll off into the sunset knowing that the car really doesn’t need anything at all except to be driven. Overall, this is an incredibly well-built machine, with essentially all new parts from front to back. But beyond the glowing paint and the wicked drivetrain, this 1923 Model T C-Cab really is one of the most practical choices you'll find. This custom build was only finished 550 miles ago, and we're surprised they even bothered to put headlights on this one. After all, that neon green paint likely glows in the dark and could land a flying saucer. And that's exactly the kind of color you want on a hot rod like this. If you're looking to be incognito, there are plenty of other high horsepower classics out there. These cars are for the bold, and so only the boldest paint will do. Since this is a C-Cab, there is the fun side decal about a delivery vehicle. If that's not to your taste, it's 100% removable. We'll even take it off for you so that when this arrives on your doorstep, it will be ready for your own custom delivery logo (maybe even a bakery pun involving "hauling buns.") Step inside, and the interior is clean with a touch of class - this is exactly how you want a T-style hot rod to look. The driver gets a nice sports steering wheel (the bow tie in the center hints at the powerplant.) Plus, there's the tall upright gear lever, which is a hallmark often missed on these custom cars. All the gauges are Omega Kustoms set into a real wood panel for a nice traditional touch. But the most standout feature of the interior is the locking back hatch that has real storage room behind it. This can fit chairs, coolers, and of course, trophies. So this is the first T-Bucket you've seen that can securely carry all the gear you want to the car show or tailgate party. By now you've probably seen the cool graphic on the radiator that reminds us all that these might look like vintage Fords, but Chevy small-block power always works the best. This one started out life as a 350 cubic-inch V8, and then the hot rod people went to work. It was rebuilt with go-fast parts like a Holley Strip Dominator aluminum intake manifold, Holley performance carburetor, and the headers that have an unfiltered connection to those rumbling side pipes. Because this is all out for the world to see, it also has been given some attract chrome upgrades such as the air cleaner, fan shroud, alternator, and valve covers. Even the firewall shines like a mirror so this beastly powerplant looks double its size. This is mated to GM's TH700 R4 overdrive automatic, which is running a B&M converter lock-up with a control on the dash. So yes, this is perfect for cruising or power takeoffs. Plus, with disc brakes up front, wide Goodyear Eagle GTs holding up the staggered rear end, and Centerline forged wheels all around, this custom hot rod is absolutely ready for the street or strip. It's hard not to get excited about a recently built custom hot rod with a hint of a practical side and a price that's easily within budget. 1923 Ford Model T for Sale 1923 Ford Model T for Sale Stock # 0031-TPA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. Documented original car with all original lights and drive-train!Believed to have less than 3k original milesStored for 70 years in Missouri by the family of the second owner I purchased this car in January with the restoration almost complete. In July we shipped the car to the Last Chance Garage in Pa. to be finished and tuned. Lou and Fred did a great job! She starts on the first crank almost every time and once in a while she'll fire after priming just by turning the battery switch on. That's a hoot because no one expects it to start from the driver's seat! This car is really an amazing piece.Restored from a very original car. According to the owner’s daughter who owned and stored the car for 70+ years, it had just 3,168 miles on it when parked in 1941. Her father left for war and unfortunately did not return. Built in July of 1912 and originally delivered with the rare “Fore Door” option and Brown brass lights. The original leather material was used to make patterns for the interior you see here. Photos are included of the original upholstery. The Motor and transmission were rebuilt professionally by Dave Szumowski in the Chicago area. The car was first started and driven under its own power on July 23rd, 2015 under the careful eye and care of The Last Chance Garage in Pa. Correct original brass carburetor comes with the car. Holley carb serves the car more reliably. Still has the correct 12 rivet rear end as well. - Comprehensive nut and bolt restoration - Started the engine for the first time July, 2015 - Stored in garage since WWII - Copy of Missouri title from 1941 - Original Missouri registration and envelope from Secretary of State, 1941 - Correct 12 rivet rear end - Pre-restoration photos - Original brass lamps - Original Holley carburetor comes with car - 1941 license plate - Original fanLocated in our warehouse here in Mount Dora, Fl. 32757.Call anytime for additional questions, details, or pictures.Scott Ales 407-257-5854

(941)286-0889 THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEWI just LOVE show cars! Not only are they stunning to look at, but they usually have had an open checkbook on the build so they get the best components, top-notch attention to detail, and are kept in show-ready condition by the prior owners. That is EXACTLY the case with this radical 1923 Ford T-Bucket, known as The Yellowjacket show car! It has resided in a private collection, and was built with one goal…to win its class throughout the Midwest! Please review the DETAILED DESCRIPTION and information provided below, and look through the 100 LARGE PHOTOS I have provided. If you have questions, or would like to arrange a private showing, please call me at 941-286-0889. THIS IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT CAR! I have the clean and clear title in hand, and the car is ready for immediate sale, delivery, and ownership. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM CONDITION REPORTYou just HAVE to love a T-Bucket! They are so easily recognizable to Rodders and citizens alike, and take Hot Rodding down to the basic formula we all want: LIGHT WEIGHT+MASSIVE POWER=FUN. This T-Bucket is a show quality machine that is ready to enter into any local, regional, or National event, and continue its history of collecting awards and accolades while you enjoy driving it! The body, windshield, top, and corresponding hardware are all from CCR (California Custom Roadster) and are in exceptional condition. Top goes up and down when you want it to, and the hardware to affix it removes and attaches easily. You can cruise at 70 with the roof up or down, as it has a super strong frame in place to keep it stiff. The top has no rips, tears, or seam pulls, and is in exceptional condition. The body, along with the chassis and rear end, has been carefully prepared and finished in multiple coats of hand-rubbed PPG Viper Yellow, before having stunning Tangerine Pearl and Coppermist flames airbrushed on it. The final touch is an abundance of tasteful “one-shot” hand pinstripe work done by the one and only “Lil’ Milly” all around the car. The car is in FANTASTIC condition, and is show-ready right now. As stated above, we don’t formally detail the cars we sell, so if you wanted to put in a judged GoodGuys or NSRA event, I would recommend just going over it with toothbrush and hitting the nooks and crannies before polishing it up for the event, but other than that, it is ready to rock! The paint is glossy, slick and wet looking, and is so vibrant that people just want to take pictures of it! No signs of damage, cracks, chips, or even any real scuff marks on the finish, and the striping and flames are clean and issue free as well. The underside of the frame and lower engine shows a few tiny stone chips and marks from being driven 2,693 miles, but there is no damage, and nothing that couldn’t be easily touched up if you wanted to put over a mirror at shows. It has the CCR split windshield, side ties, and wind wings, although the driver side plexiglass wing was broken, so you will need a new one. Hardware is still intact, and it literally slides right in. Chassis on the car is a rare 121” Daffy’s Rod Shop custom built frame which makes this T as much fun to drive as it is to look at! Adding a bit of length makes it track better, ride nicer, handle easier, and look cooler than the typical shorty wheelbase units you see, and as you can tell from the detailed pictures below, the craftsmanship, welds, and finish work are indeed show quality on every level. All of the suspension components, coil overs, finned disc brake units, front suspension, spring, steering arm, and more are show chrome finished, and show ready! If it is not painted, it is chrome or polished aluminum! The wheels are in exception condition, and are gorgeous polished aluminum as well, and are wrapped in tires only a few years old with just 2,693 miles on them. The rear deck cover comes off easily to provide access to the 15 gallon racing fuel tank and Red Top Optima battery underneath. The interior is from CCR as well, and fits the body like a glove, with a comfy seat and full wrap-around side panels for a super clean look. No rips, tears, damage or seam pulls are evident. There are seat belts for the driver and passenger hidden under the seat if you need and use them, and I pulled part of them out to show in the photos. The seat base easily lifts to access the belts, as well as the modern cartridge fuse box and wiring. The chrome steering column angles back slightly to make it more comfy than the typical straight up and down units you usually see, and it is topped by a chrome and real wood reverse 4-spoke wagon wheel, with functional column mounted tachometer and signal control. Dash is molded with the body, and contains SW Gauges for FUEL/OIL/SPEEDO-ODOM/TEMP/OP along with indicators for the signals and a key switch. All of the gauges appear to working as they should and look to be calibrated as well. LOKAR provided the chrome angled shifter arm with push-down flamed dice topper, as well as the functional chrome E-Brake handle, spoon gas pedal, and chrome/rubber brake pedal. Hi-beam switch is floor mounted and foot operated. Carpeting is marine grade banded material over insulation, and looks fantastic. This Rod is powered by a fully refreshed and rebuilt GM 327 Corvette engine that was built mildly to provide tons of fun without sacrificing long-term reliability and allowing ease of maintenance too. Block was painted yellow to match, before being treated to as many chrome, billet, and polished dress up items as you could put on one. From the intake to the oil pan, if it could be chromed or polished, it was! It looks fantastic in the car, and sounds absolutely AMAZING rumbling through the killer looking exhaust system! Wiring and lines were done cleanly and neatly, modern radiator was hidden under a stock chrome grille with temp indicator topper, and everything looks and performs wonderfully. Moon gas tank up front has been sourced for the coolant overflow jug. A smoothed, narrowed, and custom fabricated FORD 9” rear end houses 3.73 gears, and has been painted and striped to match the rest of the car. Same with the rear brake drums, which work without issue. It starts with a twist of the key and a tap of the gas pedal, idles clean and smooth, and has no known issues with the engine or transmission. Snick the 350 Turbo trans into gear, and the gas pedal will take you wherever you want to go in a real hurry! It is an absolute BLAST to drive, and has MORE than enough power for shenanigans if that’s your cup of tea! Keep control of your right foot, and she will drive so smooth and straight, you’ll let your Grandma take the wheel! There is no odd pulling, wander or choppiness when driving. Ride is smooth and even. No pulling, excess fade, or modulation when braking. Tracks straight at speed. It has not leaked, wept, or dripped fluid in the past two weeks at the store, and from the exhaust manifold gaskets down to the plug wires still shows like a freshly built motor. It does NOT run hot at all. Taking it to the beach on a 98 degree day with stop and go traffic never made it creep over 191 degrees. Even stopped at idle for 10 minutes. The car has been driven on a few longer trips of 200 miles without issue by the prior owner, but spent most of its life in a trailer going from show to show. I have personally driven it about 45 miles, and find it to be one of the best handling and easy to drive rods we have had. I don’t kid when I say your Grandma could probably drive this thing, but if you want to get nuts, all it takes is a whack of the throttle, and you can get nuts with the best of them! The car has been stored in a climate-controlled warehouse, and can be entered into a show TODAY, as it sits, and will probably win a prize for something. If you are going to take to the National show level, I would recommend taking a weekend, your detail kit, and some elbow grease to give everything a quick show polish and clean before you go. Nothing is wrong with it, but polishing it up will make it look even nicer than it does. This car has won a variety of awards, including: WSRA BEST BUCKET 2011 WSRA BEST STREET ROD 2012 CAR CRAFT SUMMER NATIONALS MN 2011 3RD PACE BUCKET And an assortment of other wins at various local and regional events. IT IS A SHOW-QUALITY, TROPHY WINNING, JAW-DROPPING CAR. The prior owner spent in excess of $40,000 to get this car just right, and it is probably one of the best looking, best driving Buckets on the market. IT IS TITLED AS A 1923 FORD. ODOMETER IS EXEMPT, AND MILEAGE STATED IS WHAT IS SHOWING ON THE FUNCTIONAL ODOMETER. I think that about does it so far as information I can supply to you. As stated, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE a private viewing of the car, or you can have an appraiser/inspector come see on your behalf PRIOR TO BIDDING. If you have any other questions, or want me to photograph something, or check something, please call me at (941)286-0889 for the fastest response. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a 1927 Ford Model T Hotrod. When you look at this Ford T bucket, you cannot help but notice the nice shinny exhaust poking out the side and the brass shining all over the place just letting you know that this Ford has been around the block. This 1927 Ford Model T has been modified to have the heart of a Hotrod with the looks of a simple, subtle antique Model T bucket. The power horse in this Ford Model T was a brand new Ford Racing crate engine, 4 Barrel Carburetor, MSD ignition. Backed up behind this performance motor is a 5 speed manual transmission hooked up to a Ford rear end with gearing set up for you to cruise the highway at 70 mph with ease. Shifting thru the gears is a breeze and feel very smooth, with some chirping wheel potential. The shoes(tire) on this grandfather Ford Model T are in great shape and the Krager wheels add to the simple shiny look. The looks on this bad boy 1927 Model T is very unique and simple, with a dark blue main color that allows the brass pieces and chrome pieces to pop! This is not the same hotrod you always see with hot red flames or a super bright main color, nope not this one, just plain ol polished metal and a simple gloss paint . The black leather interior is in very great shape to cushion your back end and has a pair of lap belts to help keep you locked in. The stereo system in this 1927 Ford Model T is up to date with the current trend in having auxiliary cord and premium speakers. If you are out late and you are parked up at a burger joint or car meet, this Ford comes with underside LED lighting to show your fancy side. If you are looking for a Modern style classic hotrod then look no further. This will take you from point A to point B with style. Options included on this 1927 Ford Model T for sale are: AM/FM radio, CD player, leather interior, power brakes, power steering, and aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in performance radial tires. If you\'re looking for a well maintained and simple looking hotrod that\'s ready to jump in and go, you\'ve found it! To see more HD pictures and video please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
