King of the Road! No nicks, cuts, scratches, dents, dings period. No stories or excuses, offered by serious 62 year old collector and selling because I have two of this color. Mint, Mint, Mint !!! The GT500KR was born as a Ford-produced Shelby GT500 in Flat Rock, Michigan, alongside its brothers built at the AutoAlliance International assembly plant. The chosen few were then shipped to Shelbys facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the combined efforts of Ford SVT engineering, Ford Racing and Shelby Automobiles collaborated to create the KR model. The KR received the 540-horsepower, supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 engine, with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package supplying the extra 40 horses from the standard GT500. A Ford Racing Handling Package included revised springs, adjustable dampers, beefier stabilizer bars and a strut tower brace. The addition of 3:73 rear gears, short-throw shifter, plus KR-specific exterior treatments such as unique wheels and tires, a special composite hood with hood pins and unique Shelby stripes and badging further enhanced the SVT magic already present in the GT500. Exporting - If you are purchasing a vehicle which will be exported overseas we can only release the vehicle to you via a transporter/shipper as the vehicle may not be operated on Florida roads with a temporary tag unless sales tax has been collected. We request a copy of the export bill of lading or dock receipt for our records and state audit purposes so that we are not held responsible for taxes. Fee and Tax Information: Due to a high ratio of zero feedback bidders that prove to be non-paying bidders we request that any new bidders with zero feedback contact us via telephone at (352) 398-3957 or e-mail prior to bidding. If a zero feedback bidder wins the auction and we cannot contact them or he/she does not contact us within one hour after the auction closes we will assume he/she is a non-paying bidder. We then reserve the right to make a second-chance offer to the next bidder down or sell the vehicle otherwise. If bidding on a car please have financing pre-arranged or pre-approved Successful winning bidder must telephone (352)398-3957 within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. A $500 deposit should be made no later than 3 days after close of the listing, which can be done via Pay Pal, or any other source agreed upon. Within (5) business days of the end of the auction, full payment must be received either by cashiers check, approved bank draft, bank wire, cash in person, or certified funds. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on first come, first serve basis. In most cases, vehicle will be shipped within 5 business days of receiving full payment. Naples Import Autos accepts cashiers check, certified funds, or verified drafts from approved financial institutions. Out-of-State buyers are responsible for their own taxes, registration, etc., in their own State. Final price does not include sales tax or tag fees, please take this into consideration when bidding.
