1995 Ferrari 348. Introduced in 1989 as a hardtop (Berlinetta) and removable roof panel (Targa) The 348 Spider was the first 2-seat convertible Ferrari produced since the mid seventies. Introduced in 1989 it was so well received that production continued into 1995 alongside its replacement the 355. The 348 engine was universally praised for its combination of low-speed tractability and eagerness to be driven at high RPM. The chassis was dramatically more rigid than its predecessors and the mid-engine was mounted longitudinally versus transversely. The Pininfarina design remains dramatic 25 years after introduction. This is a beautiful car and perhaps the best Ferrari value available today. Like all Ferraris, this striking, open roadster will appreciate.
