1965 CORVETTE STING RAY CONVERTIBLE. Beautiful Nassau Blue with Bright Blue interior and white top. 4-speed transmission with 300 hp., 327 cubic inch V8 engine and positraction 3.36 rear axle. Drive train has been completely rebuilt and everything is of the correct era, but may not be matching numbers (engine block was decked when it was rebuilt and I can't read the numbers). Car has just completed an $8,000.00 complete mechanical restoration. Cosmetics are very nice, but not yet show quality (bumpers could use re-chroming) Use it as a very good-looking, dependable and enjoyable driver while you finish restoring it. All the expensive stuff has been done professionably by Gold Coast Corvettes of Fort Lauderdale. Some of the major items done include: New gas tank & sending unit, trailing arms, bushings, water pump, harmonic balancer, battery, clutch, u-joints, fuel pump, heater core, top weather stripping, Ignitor Electronic Ignition, refinished exhaust and intake manifolds, rear axle, thermostat, hoses, differential rebuild, balance flywheel, install new outside mirrors, etc. Good paint, top, and tires (spare is new). This car has always been a Southern car (Louisiana, and Mississippi) and the frame is solid. Tinted windshield and AM/FM radio (not factory). 2001 Corvette convertible, LS 1 , automatic with most options. Owner selling due to retirement, car is near perfect with very minimal signs of age, a beautiful 14 year old. Paint is good with no swirls and always cared for, always serviced as well and garage kept. Car has only been caught out in rain once in its lifetime so underneath is as nice as the top. The color is Torch Red and very sharp. Oil was changed regularly once a year whether mileage needed it or not and the coolant other fluids have been changed regularly as well. You would not be disappointed with this Corvette. I will miss her and wanted to keep her but..... All e-bay rules apply. the car is offered locally too so I reserve the right to remove the offering should the car sell. There is no express or implied warranty. I will help with shipping if that's required, or I can deliver anyplace in the continental USA for $1.00/mile, but it would be more fun to drive it home.
