Factory ac. ps, pb disc, trans cooler/ towing package, Factory air shocks, paint code 43 43 upper and lower no vinyl top, remote mirror , Dual exhaust, 350 Invader 2bbl Auto 350, 245 HP 2.56 rear axle.Fresh rebuilt transmission, Numbers matching Drive train. The Engine is all stock except for headers. I have original steering wheel and complete original wheels and hub caps. I will sell without the CRAGARS and Spinners if you don't like them for 750 less if you would just like to have the original wheels. Selling with both. Mechanical++++ Fresh tune up, points, condenser, spark plugs, cap wires, R 134 conversion, new ac expansion valve and orings and two new lines, new flex plate and fresh rebuilt stock shifting transmission, new front u joint, chrome rear cover and new fluid. Fresh oil and filter and greased all fittings. Carb rebuilt with new filters fuel and air. Runs and drives great!!!! The engine is sludge free and clean inside and can tell the timing chain has been replaced. Hoses and belts are new, ( the heater hoses are the original ribbed hoses with the original clamps at firewall) , rebuilt Alternator and regulator. New battery and and quick disconnect at positive post. Brakes are in good condition front disc rear drum with newer wheel cylinders front hoses have been replaced. Stops and drives straight as an arrow. New rear air shocks All ac and heating system are functioning like they should. A/C is Ice cold. It does have a few engine oil drips when it sits overnight on garage floor. Interior++++Is now black was jade green, removed dash and cleaned and replaced all bulbs, New door panels dash pad, window felts, door seals, New Carpet, new rear view mirror, the clock next to the radio is covering the fog light switch hole. Sony stereo with cd usb sat ready new 4 " pioneer front speakers, New Sony 6x9 in boxes mounted below package shelf. It sounds great. Has tinted glass, front and rear glass has been replaced at some point. Steering wheel is new. All electrical systems are in working order including the glove box lamp and idiot lights. Everything is working as it should. Body and Paint++++ All sheet metal is original to the car. The car is very straight and has nice gaps. All chrome is original and excellent . New rear bumper and wheel well moldings. NOS window vent shades. Front bumper has two holes from fog lamps. NO RUST OR REPAIRS FROM RUST. The only rust i could find was on the Battery tray. Replaced with a new Goodmark unit. THE PAINT is nice and looks to be recent BUT the preparation was poor. you can see minor blemishes when looking for imperfections. Looks great but it is Driver quality. This car really looks great but it is Not a Show quality Paint job. The bed is almost perfect a couple tiny dings. The foot wheel cover has never been removed and has it original seam sealer.I have the original parts minus radio and manifolds. This car runs and drives great. The car is mechanically sound , you can drive it across country if you needed to. It has the original 305, starts right up, no ticking, no leaking, no excessive smoke. The air condition recently developed a problem, the compressor started making a rattling noise, it holds a charge, so I'm thinking that's all it needs. The car drives extremely well, it has new front brakes, new ball joints, newer shocks up front, the rear shocks are air leveling shocks. The tires were just put on the car a few hundred miles ago, it has 16x8 GTA aluminum mesh wheels. The exhaust is an aluminized coated 2.5 dual exhaust, its also brand new, the car has a deeper sound than factory, but isn't loud. The interior is in really nice shape, the door panels are not warped, the plastic lower portion still looks great, the carpet has been replaced last year, as well as the headliner, the dash is also really nice, its not all cracked up, the bench seat is original, although it looks nice for its age, I would say it shows some wear. The exterior had its original paint until last year when the car was repainted, it was done professionally and it shows, its refinished in its original color, except they added dark blue to the bottom. The car had absolutely no rust repairs done, the original paint was worn through in a few places and had some scratches and small dings through out, the bed is in excellent condition, and was refinished with a light texture on the floor. in short the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed, the previous owner spent thousands upon thousands getting the car to look the way it does, it was his grand fathers, he bought it new and left it to him. Description Well, here we are folks, still lost in the 70's and Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this great looking 1972 Chevrolet El Camino. Again, horsepower numbers were pretty much on their way out very shortly, but you could still get some decent motors in this coupe utility vehicle. This is what you had before the days of sport utility vehicles. The body lines of the El Camino are pretty timeless. When you see one go down the road, you know what it is right away. All you have to do is get the year right. They were very distinct vehicles. They didn't look like the ranchero's from the boys at the blue oval, they were stand alone vehicles that went all the way up to the early 80's. The red paint on this particular car stands out a mile away. The paint job is about 15 years old, so it doesn't need it right away, but it could use a paint job again. That being said, it is a fun vehicle to drive and the red paint is going to get you attention and thumbs up where ever you go. The interior of this coupe utility vehicle is pretty stock sans some aftermarket gauges under the dash and a new radio that was put in the dash with a removable face plate. The cloth on the bench seat does not have any rips or tears in it, but you will be able to see in the pics that the drivers side has seen a little more wear obviously than the passenger side. You will be able to rock down the road to all of your favorite tunes because you have a set of speaker boxes right behind the seat. So, be pre paired to get your head banging on. You are going to be able to do all of this with cool A/C. This was a factory A/C car. It could use a recharge to be really cold, but you have it there and ready for next summer Under the hood is what is really important on this bad little coupe utility vehicle. One of the available engines in 1972 was a 350 and that is what this was born with but it is far from original. It has been bored .030 over and everything was rebuilt with an Edelbrock intake manifold and carb. This is matted to a 700R4 and going out to the stock rear end. Long tube headers and a pair of Flowmaster mufflers have been added for better breathing and of coarse that awesome Flowmaster sound that we are all so familiar with. This car runs great and goes through the gears with positive precision. You need to be behind the wheel of this one right now. This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino has all the potential in the world.
