This is a 1969 Z/28 that has been in storage for awhile and has not been driven. The DZ302 engine is original and date coded to the car but the VIN stamped on the pad is a couple of weeks earlier than when this car was built. It has the early trim tag that has never been off of the car. The VIN tag on the dash and the hidden VIN stamp on the cowl look original from the factory and do not appear to have been tampered with. It has all the Z/28 indicators from the single 3/8" fuel line, 4-leaf rear springs, extra support plate for the muffler, original BU code 12-bolt posi rear end, power front disc brakes, deluxe rear bumper guards and a date coded replacement 660 case Muncie transmission. In addition the car has AM/FM radio with factory speakers in the kick panels and power steering. The car was repainted in the original color Fathom green and I think much of the dark green standard interior is still original and in very good condition. The paint and body work are nice but not perfect with a small scrape on the right quarter panel from somebody backing the car out of a garage (you can see the scrape on the picture of the car on the lift). I recommend having the car inspected because it is being sold "as is" with no promises or guarantees .

This Camaro Z/28 received a professional frame off restoration a few years ago and has been driven very little since it was completed. Overall the car is in excellent condition because it has spent most of its life in storage since the restoration. The paint and bodywork was done to a level that is much better than what came from the factory when new in 1969 and the detail of the underside is still incredible. The car is an original X77 Z/28 that came from the factory without the exterior trim package. This is one of the few Z/28s that did not have the rear quarter trim, wheel opening moldings or bright rain gutter trim added over time as you will see in most other Camaros. This car also features the Z/28 Hurst shifter with the right round shift handle, date coded 837 deep groove pulley alternator, 4053 Holley carburetor, 472 factory high rise intake, deep groove pulleys, original 1969 small block upper alternator bracket without the extra holes. The car does not have any original paperwork other than NCRS information showing the original selling dealership including their name and dealer code. While the car was being restored it was inspected and certified by respected Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish as an original 1969 X77-Code Camaro Z/28, this car is documented with the original DZ-Code 302 engine, BU-Code rear end, and trim tag. Jerry inspected the hidden VIN stamping on the car and states that it is indeed visible and original. The complete inspection report will go the buyer only.
