This listing is for a 1972 Chevy C10 Short Wheel Base SWB. This is a TRUE short bed. Truck has been in Colorado most of it's life so there is little to no rust. Rocker panels, cab corners, inner & outer fenders, doors all rust free. The frame and suspension are also in great condition. Has a strong 383 Stroker SBC Engine with a Billet dress up kit which includes Billet Pulley's on the water pump, power steering pump, & a chrome finished Alternator. Also has Ceramic Coated Headers with mufflers turned down at the rear axle, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, Brand New Radiator with dual electric fans and a Brand New Heater Core that's not installed yet. The truck runs and sounds awesome. Has a freshly rebult Chevy Hydramatic TH200-4R transmission and the original 4.11 posi-traction rear end. New brake lines and fuel lines with electronic fuel pump. The interior is in excellent condtion with new carpet, new door panels, new upholstery on the seat, new dash pad, new kick panel speakers on both sides, and a Grant Steering Wheel. All new rubber around windshield, back glass and doors. Nice Rally Wheels with tires that are less than 3 months old. selling my 72 c 10 pick up , this truck is nice all the way around. It had a restoration somewhere down the line , before i bought it. It has a stock 350 with a 350 transmition that run beautifully . The floors have no rust and the rockers look good. I can get some pictures to show underneath truck. The heater works great and all gauges work correctly. No vibrations, pulls, or other awkwardness.Body:This was a straight body to begin with, just had some rust (cab corners, rockers). I welded in new sheetmetal and filled (welded) all trim holes. It was painted with Hot Rod Flatz single stage urethane. It's a very low-maintenance upkeep. No waxing or polishing!All work was done to this truck last fall. I purchased it from a close friend who owned it since the early '90's. He's a mechanic with his own shop, and maintained the truck very well. I wanted to maintain its usefulness as a truck, so I left the box intact and made a point to make it drive well, ride well and be reliable. I've daily drove this most of the summer, several distance trips included, without issue. Interior: The interior was stripped and sprayed to match the exterior. The seat and carpet were in ok shape, so they were re-used. The seat has a crack in the vinyl (shown) where it flexes, but has no other tears or rips. New door panels and dash were installed. It doesn't have a radio, because I didn't like any of my options well enough to put one in. I haven't missed it, so it's stayed that way. I made a vinyl panel to cover the opening. The interior (floor/doors) are layered in Dynamat/Fatmat insulation. All the gauges work properly. Issues:The engine does leak some oil from the rear main seal. It also burns a small amount on warm start-up from the valve seals. The high-idle on the Quadrajet stopped working when I put the intake on, and it developed a stumble on WOT. Otherwise, everything works as it should. It is an older truck, though, and not every part is restored. There are signs of age in misc trim...dings/scuffs/etc. This makes a great driver that gets a lot of compliments, but I don't see it as a show truck. No Trades.

Here is a nice 1982 Chevy Custom 10 4X4 SWB Stepside truck. It was owned by a local guy here in Bremen, Ga since July 1989. He took really good care of this truck. It was just driven on a 500 trip with no issues. It has a GM Crate 350 engine that runs awesome and is stock. The transmission is a 4 speed manual with a low granny gear. It shifts nice and smooth. The exterior is painted White and I would rate the paint a 7 out of 10. It is not all scratched or dented like most. This truck has never been abused in the woods. There are a few bubbles on the drivers rear fender on top but the previous owner said they have been there for years and have not gotten worse. The wood in the bed is not bad but not perfect. It needs to be sanded down and stained again. It has a tow hitch on the back. The front bumper looks good and has bumper guards and the back bumper is the heavy duty style bumper. The interior is nice as well. The speedometer works as does the gas gauge. The 4WD works as well. It has like new 32 X 11.50R 15LT Tires. This is a very good truck in above average condition. The mileage is what is showing on odometer. I don't know exact miles so please understand this. Truck don't smoke or use oil is all I can tell you. This truck is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. This beautiful Chevy C10 Long Bed recently arrived from long term ownership in AZ and looks exceptional its original Chevy Ochre & White paint scheme. The previous owner had meticuluously maintained the truck and it shows. The truck fires up easily, runs strong and does good at highway speeds. We don't often recommend using classics as "daily drivers" but we think that is exactly what you should do with this truck. In fact, this truck has already seen a little over 17k miles of pavement since the majority of the restoration was completed. Upon arrival to TX we needed only to address a few cosmetic items to get the truck to our standards. It arrived with a "work truck" steel rear bumper which we swapped for a new chrome one. To ensure the truck was ready for new ownership we left it with our mechanic for a few days who performed a tune-up, replaced gaskets as needed, checked all the fluids, and charged the A/C. The classic Chevy trucks that really retain collectibility and continue to climb in value are the ones that closely mirror the original Service Parts Identification Tag (SPID). The SPID is still present today in the inner glovebox door and with exception of the radio, the C10 is very close to how it rolled of the assembly line 45 years ago.
