This old workhorse was found in 2005 tucked away in the original owners barn. It is a cool surviving, original farm truck with patina and rust. Originally purchased in Romeo, MI from Carter-Rymills Chevy-Olds (still has the remains of the dealer sticker). It was registered/plated until 1981 and after that it was only driven short distances around the farm. The original owner caused the dents on the passenger side brushing against a few trees once he couldn't see well enough to drive it anymore. The truck starts right up, drives, stops and shifts good. The truck is in good mechanical condition, the Stovebolt-Six engine runs very well without smoking or burning oil. This was the last year GM produced the 235 engine and it has the original oil-bath air cleaner. This is a base factory truck with radio delete and the only factory options it has is the deluxe recirculating heater and door locks. It has manual steering and manual drum brakes. The interior is in ok condition for the age but has tears in the vinyl seat that have only been getting worse. The body has rust along with older floor, fender and rocker panel repairs. The front cab mounts are rotted and wood spacers were placed inbetween. The wood bed is falling apart. No cracked glass but windshield has a wiper mark. Since 2005 it has received many new parts and it had been driven daily for several years. I was focused on making sure that it was mechanically sound while leaving its original look. New driver and passenger lap seatbelts were installed. There are less than a thousand miles on the brakes/wheel cylinders and rebuilt master cylinder. The clutch and slave cylinder only a few hundred miles on them. Here is a list of some of the new and replaced parts. - New Radiator although the paint is now peeling off - New Brake Pads - New Wheel Cylinders - New Clutch - New Slave Cylinder - Rebuilt Master Cylinder - New Battery and battery box - New Chrome side mirror - New glove box - New Seatbelts - New Dome lamp The carburetor should be rebuilt soon since it bogs when you push the pedal but once the truck is warmed up it seems to be fine. The exhaust pipe will need to be replaced as it has pin holes and is broken in a couple spots (currently held together with hose clamps). It could use new tires, the current ones have developed light cracks but hold air and are drivable. The truck is complete except for missing its hubcaps. Comes with the original 1962 Owner's Manual. I have too many projects so it needs to find a new home and I want to see it enjoyed by someone else. Truck is located in Ypsilanti, MI. This 1965 C-10 SHORT BOX is a great driver caliber truck! I guess with the patina look you could show it as well! It has imperfections the worst one in pictured on the hood. I think it was done on purpose to look like a "pop" in the paint! The truck was restored about 7 years ago we were told. The truck was taken in on trade at a local CHEVROLET dealer we do business with on a new corvette. It runs and drives very nice, sounds great with a nice deep rumble from the mufflers, looks great both exterior and interior. Has a newer steering column installed in it at time of restoration, also has fiberglass bed sides,(never worry about rust) and a wood bed, and a soft bed cover that opens up. If you look at the pics of the bed you can see how they left the pitting on the inside if the tailgate and inside front of the bed.(patina) The doors close with very little effort. all the emblems have the perfect amount of patina on them, as do other parts on the truck. The stainless around the headlights and the side body molding. It was made to look like this, look at the pics. It would make a great "shop truck" for a advertising or promotional use for a company. It is a really neat truck that was built to look old. This is the First one like this we have had and I really think its neat. You will see us selling more of these, they are super affordable. this is the one..Short wheel Base..unrestored original..Vintage trucks are extremely popular right now, and if this 1966 Chevrolet C10 is any indication, there's a bright future in old haulers. From the light green paint to the strong running Stright 6 under the hood, this cool pickup nails the original look and feel while offering a few choice upgrades. 1966 was the last year for the Fleetside pickups introduced in 1960, which offered lower rooflines and a swept-back cab that offered industry-leading space and comfort. this truck is a movie star. The pantina truck's original code Light Green finish, but has a much more appealing look that's pure nostalgia. The Fleetside offered dramatic styling with lots of swoops and curves, as well as brilliant use of trim, and all of it remains 100% intact on this hauler. Other styling details include the wing-like lip at the back of the cab, which probably has no real function but looks really cool. Paint and body holds all of it original and bumps and brusies that it has taken on all of it life, and this truck will be right at home both at local shows and the local lumber yard on a Saturday afternoon if you need some light hauling done. These were well-made rugged machines from new, so it shouldn't be surprising to find one this nice today. All the original trimis srtill intact, from the massive front bumper and delicate egg crate grille to the stainless along the sides that is strongly reminiscent of the Impala SS trim from just a few years earlier. But if you need it to work, it's ready, with a bed that's still carrying the original factory installed natural wood floor that is still strong that you're not afraid to touch it. These Trucks were awesome machines when they were new, and this one doesn't vary much from the factory formula. The original bench was recovered in black cloth,with all original factory dash that all still works as it did when it rolled out the factory. The original gauges are a very cool setup with a single face that certainly looks great and remains in good condition. A black rubber floor mat suggests that this truck is still ready and willing to work. the factory drivetrain straight 6cyl. matched with its 3 speed on the tree manual is still nestled between the front fenders. As a truck, function was chosen over style, and there's no shame in that, so it still wears a stock oil bath air cleaner, It runs beautifully, and all the accessories were freshened, including the alternator, power brake master cylinder,upgraded ignition, and the big radiator up front. It starts easily with a great nice little rumble from the exhaust system, The only upgrade it has taken on is the addition of power brakes and power steering were added to make it easy to drive and has been used as a daily driver. The solid chassis is 100% stock and mostly original, including the suspension and brakes, lowered ever so slightly to give it that slight mean stance. Rolling stock consists of plain-Jane steelies wearing 15 inch blackwall radials and dishstyle hubcaps. This is a great truck that can work all day and still clean up nicely for a night out on the town. It does have some rusted areas but i have brand new parts that go with the sale of the truck. Not many like these left and very hard to come by rolling that stock set up and still wearing original faded patina paint. Still has some factory chalk writing on the firewall from the assembliy line. You can jump right in and drive it anywhere, everything still works as it should, Heater box, parking brake, horn, reverse lights,bright lights, bright light indicador,dome light,wipers,chock,turn signal cancel,gas gauge,cold and hot lights, speedo, added tach, oil pressure, temp guage,Heater blower fan, all still work!! Nice 1960 Chevrolet Apache 10. Truck runs and drives great. Odometer reads 47,771, not sure if this is the correct total miles, judging by the way it drives I would say it is very possible. I purchased the truck in its current condition, it was restored several years ago. Everything on the truck works as it should, engine is straight six with 3 on a tree manual and runs great. This is a very nice 69 CHEVY PICKUP an Oklahoma truck, I bought in 1996. Drove approx 1200 miles in the summers of 1996,1997,1998, 1999,2000 parked in storage always, used historical plate. Has not seen even one snowflake. Stored it in 2001,until yesterday.Pulled it out put some gas in it and a new battery, it started right up sounds and runs great it has a wild engine, I think it is a 301 engine has a 700R4 tranmission, has a a convertor Lockout. This is pure old school wheels and tires, headers,chrome down turns on exhaust, the truck has FACTORY AIR AND TILT STEERING COLUMN ALSO FACTORY.The underneath has not any rust some surface, just from living in MICHIGAN FOR 19 YEARS. The truck starts and runs out great the pipes are nice sounding, throaty.THIS A VERY NICE CLASSIC CHEVY TRUCK, HOT ENGINE, GREAT TRANS,FACTORY AIR,FATORY TILT COLUMN, not a lot of these around this straight PIONEER STERO WITH BOOSTER AND EQUALIZER.
