As we enter a new chapter in our lives, "Retirement", we will be selling some of our pride and joys. Saying good bye to this rare Nomad is going to hurt! It is a pristine Arizona native that arrives with clear Arizona title from a private seller. We looked very hard for many years to find a clean, quality Nomad and believe this to be one of the best in the world. It was a no issue west coast Nomad that received a no expense spared frame off restoration. As you can see by the honest photo's taken the day of this listing, it is incredibly solid and an investment grade classic. It's never had the need in life for any replacement floor pans nor body mounts. They're All Original and painted, no undercoat, nor black spray bombs. Pure honest quality throughout! It boasts the original 265 CID V-8 attached to the original Powerglide automatic. They both have been rebuilt professionally and are with low mileage, in excellent condition. Some upgrades from original are: Tubular upper and lower control arms with disc front brakes for excellent stopping. Edelbrock 4BBL carburetor and manifold. New "Special Edition" American Racing 17" wheels. A quality aluminum radiator and dual exhaust with resonating glass pack mufflers. The beautiful original style Ciadella interior along with headliner and the exterior fit and finish are excellent. Clear glass, roll and slide like they should. $5000 has been spent on chroming the original metal, rather than installing after market bumpers and trim parts. New wiring. New brakes. This beautiful Nomad was owned by the first owner until 1969. Afterwards owned for 43 years by the second owner, an excellent professional mechanic. The odometer was turned back to zero during the restoration. Today, 840 driven miles since, driving smooth and remarkably on the highway.
