So if you have any questions or want to make an offer please call Rudy at 928-234-4683. The description and everything in this add is how he wrote it. I personally spent a year doing a "frame on" restoration. This car has a very solid foundation. I basically installed parts, (trim, chrome, interior etc...) I added a lot that was not on it originally and some custom parts. I repaired what need to be done. This car is an extremely nice driver. It's by no means a "Trailer Queen" and was not built to be one. It drives as nice as it looks. I have invested over 25 Thousand dollars. And I put thousands of hours of personal time. This car is well worth the price. I am selling this classic car because I am buying a house.

1972 El Camino U code(very few U code cars made that weren't an SS) project. Factory 402 Car. This car is a project that has already had a ton of time and money put in. Body was lifted from frame and the frame was sandblasted and painted. All new suspension bushing on frame and axles done including all the sway bar bushings, a-arm bump stops, upper and lower ball joints. All new front breaks which includes calipers, rotors, pads, bearings, and break hoses. Brand new power steering gear box, 4 brand new shocks. Brand new boxed control arms. The car has all been raptor lined underneath before body was put back on the frame. Again this is a U VIN Code 402 motor turbo 400 trans car from Van Nuys California. Factory flame orange, automatic transmission (turbo 400), air conditioning, white vinyl top, and black bench seat interior. Body was stripped and is now in primer. Body is rust free and in really good shape but does need a little more body work to be perfect. The bed of this car/truck is as clean as I’ve ever seen. Car comes with a brand new SS hood with flapper, Brand new SS emblems for grill fenders and tailgate, Brand new front windshield, Brand New Black Seat cover carpet door panels headliner, and Brand new SS grill. Car has really nice rally wheels with new tires. The car comes with a tone of original parts that was removed for body work. Unfortunately the car DOES NOT have a MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION. There isn't any rust in the car ANYWHERE. Looks like lower quarter panels were repaired but they were done right. Clean clear Arizona title. Please ask questions before bidding. The El Camino is for sale local so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. 480-390-8680 with any questions. I will be happy to help arrange with shipping if needed.

1967 Chevrolet El Camino - Gorgeous Ground Up Restoration - Show Car - Must See!! 400ci V8 - Factory A/C - PDB - PS - Tilt - Stunning!! Here is a drop dead gorgeous, 1967 Chevrolet El Camino in perfect, like new condition inside and out, with low miles on the ground up restoration. It is very well equipped with a 400ci V8 engine, power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning and the list goes on. This unbelievable '67 El Camino is truly as nice as they come and performs as well as it looks. It is truly one of the nicest running and driving '67 El Camino's I've had the pleasure of owning. It received a ground up restoration that was professionally done to show quality standards. There was no ?expense spared in restoring this awesome El Camino. This is a totally rust-free Nevada car that has spent all of its whole life in the southwest. This is one very striking car with its stunning Madeira Maroon paint and black interior!! The list of options as it is currently equipped as follows: 400ci 4bbl Small Block Chevy V8Automatic TransmissionFactory Air ConditioningPower Disc BrakesPower SteeringAM RadioTilt ColumnRally WheelsDual ExhaustEtc, etc, etc.... It has a gorgeous, Madeira Maroon paint that looks absolutely stunning. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is straight as an arrow and totally solid as a rock and totally rust free. Even the bed is excellent and looks like nothing has ever been in it. All of the chrome and trim is brand new and in show condition. It also has all new rubbers throughout the car. Absolutely everything on this car is brand new or restored as you can see from the pictures. It is sitting on a set of 15" rally wheels with like new tires. This '67 El Camino literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives! The new black interior is all brand new and looks amazing. The dash and gauge cluster has all been restored and is stunning. Everything works perfectly in the car including the gauges, radio, lights and even the clock. The inside of this car looks like it just came off the showroom floor!! Must be scene in person to believe!! Mechanically, this El Camino is in perfect condition. The 400ci V8 motor was completely rebuilt runs perfect. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and looks great. It also has power disc brakes for great stopping power and a brand new dual exhaust system. The complete suspension was rebuilt front to back. It was a ground up restoration just a couple years ago, so basically everything is new or rebuilt. This is one very fun car to go cruising in! This is an ultra clean classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on. These early El Camino's are getting very hard to find. There were thousands invested in the restoration of this beauty. I would describe this car as a show car that is built drive. This El Camino is, in a word: Amazing. Straight, steel California car with no rust and professionally built by Dave Zent and Bill Patrino at D&M in Tucson, starting with a fresh LS-5 454 engine, bored .030 over, balanced and blueprinted, Brodix Race-Rite aluminum heads, Lunati roller cam, Mahle pistons at roughly 10.8 compression, Cometic gaskets, Edelbrock Intake, MSD 6AL, 9 mm wires with Mallory ignition at 6400 rpm red line, ARP bolts and studs, Hitachi starter, aluminum coated Hooker headers with QuickTime Performance electric cutouts, March brackets and pulleys, Holly fuel pump and Ultra Street Avenger carb, Trick Flow stainless overflow system into the frame, Lokar & Moroso locking sticks (NHRA approved), Hotchkis Suspension including sway bars, trailing arms, etc., Ron Davis Racing products radiator (NASCAR style) with twin 17 inch Spal fans pulling 3700+ cubic feet of air per minutes, 700R4 State II 4-speed automatic transmission built by Aztec Transmissions (includes Hughes sprag, pump, racing clutches, and 3000 rpm stall converter), B&M Quicksilver shifter and B&M Street Rod Transmission Supercooler, Flowmaster custom exhaust, Brute Force universal joints, new Eaton 3rd member, new Richmond/Sierra axles and gears, complete Dakota Digital dash with Cruise control, compass, outside temp gauges added, new dash, dash panel, knobs, ashtray--everything!; Line-X bed, Classic Auto Air 134a Air Conditioning, LED taillights and Xenon headlights; fresh window tinting (dark), Billet Aluminum power windows and illuminated switches, custom installed Sony X-Plod HD stereo with 6 speakers, automatic headlights, remote door locks, Wilwood Pro-Series 4-wheel disc brakes with 12.18" rotors (drilled, slotted, zinc coated, powder coated calipers to match the paint), Earls and Russell braided lines; complete new interior and carpeting with Corbeau racing seats in black leather and micro suede with red 4-point Corbeau racing harnesses; new door and hood hinges, power radio antenna, NASA-style heat shielding....and a whole lot more; car just received a touch up but do not expect a perfect paint job--it has minor flaws and cracks but no dents. This car was built to USE and have fun; I didn't want a trailer queen or a race car. It is mechanically excellent and a load of fun. Horsepower? Don't know, but very reasonable guess is 650-700 hp. Street tires are 275/40/R18 Continental extreme Contact ($950 for the pair) and they won't hook up! But if you feather the throttle, the car will still do 060 in 5.0 (Dakota Dash has all kinds of timers, etc.). These are just the highlights, believe it or not. I have almost $80,000 into this car and if you are the purchaser, you'll get a large box of receipts to prove it (along with parts and service manuals, and other extras). This car has NOT been abused at all--I am 70 years old and quit abusing machinery a long, long time ago! It gets poor gas mileage, scares the birds, and rattles the minds of people who think they have a fast car. If you would like more information, I can e-mail a single spaced 4 page list of all that has been done to the car. I am listing this car on multiple sites: first person with the full asking price gets it. Otherwise, highest bidder by October 1 who is over my reserve will take it. NO TRADES--CASH ONLY. I will be happy to answer questions. (This car was sold on E-Bay previously but the buyer encountered serious health problems and had to back out.)
