Up for sale is a 1969 F-100 Ford Truck. The truck is equipped with a 390 engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and manual drum brakes. The truck has plenty of good patina, and is very solid. There is one spot of rust through at the bottom of the driver side door, and some light surface rust, however, the truck is extremely solid as it lived most of its life in NC. There are a couple of oil leaks (I believe it's the intake and the valve covers), but the truck runs and drives great. The only reason I am selling is I don't have time to keep it up as I should, and I'm thinning my car collection. Please let me know if you'd like additional photos other than what is provided here. Hello, and Welcome to my turn key1987 Ford F-150 Custom Short Box Pick Up, w/ 302 gas engine. The truck is super clean for its age, rust free, all original sheet metal, and priced to reflect that. As you know these are super hard to find rust free! 5 Years ago I flew to Tempie AZ, and drive her back to Iowa with no problems. I have used the truck as a summer and fall vehicle as a daily driver. Never driven in snow or salt, stored with stabilizer ran through it. It is a one repaint in factory color metalic silver with a few dings and scratches, red paint faid on the tailgate. New Goodyear wrangler tires. New front brake roters, pads, bearings, and brake lines. Runs and drives outstandingly, with no disappointments, no smoke, or engine issues. The gas gauge does not work, the gauge cluster has been replaced to attempt to fix that, however it did not. Which is perfect, when you loan it out for a move your friends can fill the entire tank! There is one gas tank, not two. My estimate of mileage is 145,000. I reserve to end sale through local buyer if desired sperate from eBay. This is an 1968 Ford F-100 v-8, 4 speed, dual exhaust, short bed. These trucks originally came with 6 cylinders,although this truck received a wonderfully modified hot rod 289/302 mated to a Hurst 4 speed on the floor. "this truck really sounds good" Needless to say; the truck is a hot rod and a real blast to drive. The original paint can still be seen under the color coat that was painted over the original finish more than 30 years ago. This truck displays a wonderful patina that stands out. This F-100 is a very desirable short bed with a very straight body. There are a couple of trim pieces missing along the side but that trim can be purchased on- line. These collector trucks were built without extensive electronics, power steering, power brakes or power windows. The color is originally red with a red interior.The truck is running on period built vintage slotted mags. Extra gauges have been installed in this F-100 to monitor the vitals. The engine is great and hits beautifully, the clutch is good, the transmission shifts as it should. It would be a shame to do, but a paint job, a seat recover along with some detail work will razzle-dazzle the truck if that's your preference. You are looking at my classic 1970 Ford F100 Long Bed Pickup Truck. I am only the second owner and have put an entirely new engine ($4,500.00) in her just 4 years ago. Original odometer reads 115,665. It had 79,000 on it when I replaced the engine. So new engine has 36,665 on it! NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES. THIS BABY IS ALL ORIGINAL. TRANSMISSION COOLER ADDED FOR TOWING, AND 3K HITCH PUT ON FOR TOWING TRAILERS/CAMPERS ETC. BRAND NEW LARGE RADIATOR TO KEEP COOL! RECENT $400 TUNE UP, ALL SYSTEMS GO! RADIO DOES NOT WORK, BUT HIGH END SPEAKERS AND AMP HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TO USE WITH AN 1/8" CABLE FOR MP3/PHONE ADAPTATION. She's been a daily driver and I have replaced nearly everything under the hood since I got her. She runs good and strong and will make a beautiful addition to any colllector who wants to re-finish the exterior or drive her as is! The only exceptions to her cosmetic condition, would be the patina (which I left and liked her that way), and the gas guage and temperature guages do not function.
