1962 Volkswagon Ragtop beetle with strong 1970 B6 1600 dual relief single port engine. Trans is 1970 model also. Car has been converted to 12 volt. Radio is included but not wired in. New clutch and throw out bearing, new main rear seal, all tins around engine and rubber seal, clean gas tank with fuel filter, compression is good on all 4 cylinders, motor does not burn oil (It leaks a little, but doesn't burn it !) new battery, new steering box and steering bushing. All new brake system and Wolfsburg brake drums. All new Coker wide whitewall tires including spare. New wiper blades . New rear axle boots. Everything works ,including wipers all lights and signals work including engine warning lights. Washer bottle is not hooked up and as said earlier radio is not hooked up. All correct body parts are on car, missing some trim. Car runs strong, starts easily and drives well. Pans are decent for a northern car, heater channels need replaced, car needs 1 rear bumper support replaced, looks like it was damaged from previous owner. Two VW bumper supports are included for replacement. Battery tray has been repaired . there is some rust on fenders and body, nothing severe. Front seats have replacement covers, but they are not sewn or clipped on. New moon hubcaps are on car with one new spare. Included in spare parts are OG V Dub moons. Car needs complete interior upholstery . Ragtop works nicely and seals up well. Speedometer has been replaced, shows 4346 miles. Original title lists mileage as 102,702. Car was in storage from 1994 to 2014, when I purchased car and got it running and on the road. We consider it a daily driver and have put about 1500 miles on it since we bought it. Mechanically sound car, you could drive this home. 1600 cc motor sure helps with power! There are several extra parts included with purchase.
