Thank you for looking, I am offering my 1964 Volkswagen beetle up for sale. I am sad to see this one go, but I am looking forward to my next project a 79 camper. that being said the bug is a completed project and it has to go. Here are the Stats.I bought the car as a shell in 2007the restoration was finished in 2011the engine was rebuilt in 2011clutch installed 2011head liner is only 4 years oldand has no stains or cuts.new fuel tank lines and float where all replaced.new fuel pump new tires the clutch cable is new of last summer 2014oil changes done regularlyAll Mechanical work was done by Motorkars and done by their certified mechanics. I have maintenance records from when the restoration was completed overall the bug is a very reliable car, a daily driver if you will.I have taken care of it and always kept it in the garage.I try not to drive it in the rain and never in the winter, unless the salt is washed off the roads. 1978 Super Beetle Bug Convertible Project Car with a good motor and transmission! Unknown mileage. This Beetle has sat for a while, but I threw a new battery in it and it starts right up. It does leak a lot of oil when running and will probably need all new gaskets. It runs and will drive, but needs restoration before it's ready to get back on the road without being trailered. Has dents, dings, cracks, and rust that will need repair. Needs windshield wipers, radio and speakers. Convertible top is in pretty good shape. Has good tires too.
