Selling my Beautiful 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ40). I've owned this truck since 1999 and I'm the 2nd owner. Within the last year, I did a full restoration on it, including paint, engine overhaul, wiring, interior upholstery. This is one of the toughest looking FJ40's I have ever seen. It was designed by Rolling Projects out in CA and completed by a few local shops. Paint - Paint is a 9.5/10. Almost perfect. No dents, or scratches. Fuji White Paint color. Interior - Interior is newly finished. Perforated Vinyl to allow for spills, rain, sea water, or whatever else you can get into with it. Mechanically it's all original with the original Toyota Motor in it, not a Chevy Frankenstein vehicle you see which causes them to lose value. Starts up fast and runs great. No smog needed. Transmission shifts as it should and is fun to drive. Suspension feels good but hasn't been upgraded for a few years. Has what I think is a 3 inch lift. This truck is missing a few whetherstippings/gromets/shiftknob that I just do not have the time to replace. I also have the hard top but it is not restored. I do have a soft vinyl top that works, but is not perfect. I will include everything that I have for it in the auction. This is really a no-frills truck from 1966 that you can modify to your liking upon purchasing. It's not perfect, but you will have a ton of fun driving this thing and is only going up in value. This fj40 runs very good, shifts smooth, rides nice, still needs some weather stripping, nothing much, new paint, new interior, including the dash, new wheels and hub caps, speedo does not work, needs cable, lost interest and want to go another way. 1974 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser for sale with brand new Chevy 350 crate motor. The transmission is an SM420 with 7:1 first gear mated to the landcruiser 3-speed transfer case. The axles are stock and open with 4:11 gears. Stock leaf springs are sprung over and power steering with a new AGR box. The front brakes are disk the rear are drum. 33" super swamper tires. The body tub is the original steel tub with no rust, the front end is a one-piece fiberglass tilt forward design. The entire body is coated with a green bed liner coating. I do not have a top or doors except a bikini top not shown in the pictures. The windshield wipers do not work and the parking brake needs to new shoes. I am the second owner and have owned the vehicle since 1994. The title is clean, I have the pink slip, it is registered until January 2016 and is CA smog exempt.

For sale is my 1971 Toyota Land cruiser FJ40 and it's just in time for Christmas! I really hope you like my FJ40, and if not, then I hope you at least enjoy pictures of beautiful San Diego. This is probably one of the most unique FJ40s remaining in the world. It's an absolute blast to drive and compliments and pictures taken with it every day! I purchased this from my next door neighbor who owned the FJ 40 for the last 26 years. It was always stored in a covered location (mostly Arizona), which has kept the vehicle in fantastic shape.It is a has the original "3 in the tree" manual transmission and the clutch feels great. In 1988 the original motor was replaced with a small block v-8, which allows this car to be driven as a daily driver. In the last month I have had the head gaskets service and replacement with a 12month/12k mile warranty on all work done from Mission Bay Automotive in San Diego, CA. The car also features an additional 15 gallon gas tank for extended adventures, an 8,000 pound winch that can be controlled from the cabin via remote in the glovebox and full custom front and rear bumpers. The custom front and rear bumper includes the proper hardware for flat towing the vehicle in the front and the rear bumper has a custom mount for a motorcycle, scooter, or bikes on the rear. This is a beautiful, classic and iconic vehicle that are increasingly becoming rare and will continue to become an appreciating asset, as well as an awesome car to drive to the beach or take out on adventures!As you will notice from the pictures there are a few areas that have some hints of rust, but I would not consider this a rusty car at all.
