When the Celica was first introduced it was a huge success. It had a willing engine, nice gearbox and pleasant styling. In fact many people feel these Liftback versions were an interpretation of the Mustang fastback – gills and all. We’ve always liked them and keep a watchful eye for a good. solid example. Are they classics? Not really. Just nice, reliable, fun cars to have. Emphasis on the reliable. Actually, Japanese cars have a very loyal following and this one would cause quite a stir upon arrival.

Selling my Toyota Celica 2001 GT, automatic, great condition, non-smoking, some minor dents here and there but nothing major as shown, about 150k on the odometer, no major accidents or problems of any kind, new brakes as of July 2015, power windows work but power locks do not, also the trunk has a tendency to close on its own. Other than those minor issues, it drives very well, have had it for 4-5 years now and have never had any major issues with it. It looks great and runs perfectly. This is a California car, never smoked in, no children or pets. The registration is paid through June 2015, and it has a current smog certificate. Super-straight body, with no dings and no dents. The interior is like new. Equipped with moonroof, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control, keyless entry and alarm. The tires are almost new, and it just had a brake job. The only known issue is the cruise control, which is currently not working. By the way, if you are looking for a Celica with a moonroof, you should only consider the 2004-2005 models, which are the only ones with a real glass moonroof. From 2000 thru 2003 they came with a cheap plastic one, which always gets cloudy and scratched up, and is impossible to restore. Most of them just end up being painted over in black. This car has a salvage title from a minor rear-end collision. There was no airbag deployment and no frame damage, and the body was repaired to look like new.
