Well, here it is, I can't believe that I'm selling her. For sale worldwide to the highest bidder will win this beautiful 1987 Toyota 4-Runner, 100% rust free, in excellent condition, and by far one of the coolest trucks I've ever seen or owned. It is a true head turner. You will not find another one like it. I'm only selling because I have too many vehicles, and need to purchase a safer more practical car for my two 16 year olds, or so my wife says. Now for the options, it has a 22 RE four cylinder 5speed and all the factory options, unfortunately it does not have air conditioning but it has a CD player and upgraded stereo system with amplifier and upgraded speakers, upgraded wheels and tires are new, less than 1,000 miles on them. It has a push guard bumper with two PiAA lights in the front and KC lights on the top. The truck runs very good, transmission shifts smooth, and clutch works perfectly. The top is in excellent condition and does not leak. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. I hate to do this but I just won't have the room in my garage anymore. Only selling for my families sake. Sad day for me but happy day for someone lucky enough to win her.

I have owned this 4runner since March 2005. I bought it with the understanding that I was the 3rd owner. It had 99k miles on it when I bought it, and it now has 147xxxk. It has been a great second car. I am selling only because I do not have the space for it, It has recently (within the last 6 months) been gone over by a Toyota specialist who did a complete brake job (4 wheel) with new front rotors as I recall, new wires, and a new battery, and a fee other things noted below. This 4runner runs very well with no problems that I am aware of. I have not driven it very much the last few years and after its been sitting the battery loses its charge. Other than replacing the battery my mechanic found nothing wrong with the charging system. I also will note that it will not win any horsepower competitions but putting it in "power mode" helps if you are going up a significant grade. Though not known for horsepower, the 22 re motor is known to last 250k miles or more, which means this 4runner should have years of use left if the new owner continues to keep the vehicle maintained as I have. I always use full synthetic oil. It does not seem to burn oil from what I can tell and apart from changing the valve cover gasket recently, my mechanic gave me the impression the motor does not drip or leak as far as I know, I had it smog tested today (so that it will be all set if the new owner lives in California) and it passed with flying colors. It needs a horn button ( I have one and if I can find it will include with the auction. the cable to slide back the passenger side seat has something wrong with it, The other side works fine. the 4wds works fine, but I have only used it twice. The heat and ac also both work well, as do all the lights, etc. the power window on the back goes up and down a bit slower than when new (I am guessing) but has never been a problem. the windows inside are not power, and they work fine. I recently had a new windshield installed (the old one had a crack) and all of the glass is in perfect shape as far as I know. the tires are matching BFG All Terrain Radials- I would estimate the tread to be at least 80% on all and all 4 seem to be wearing evenly, A new muffler was also installed within the last year and a half or so. The stereo system (alpine am/fm cd) has an amp under the drivers seat and a sub woofer (Bazooka) bass tube in the back and cost me over 1000. when I had it put in when I first bought the truck. the interior is all original and in good shape- some normal wear. I added a dash cap on the passenger side and the new owner may want to tack it down a bit better with silicone or something like that. I cant think of anything else and I have tried to disclose above all that I know about the shape of this vehicle. It is what I consider a very nice first gen 4runner with low miles and no rust that I can find. It gets lots of compliments from people and though not perfect, the paint looks very nice and there are no dents (there are a couple door dings but nothing that will show in a photo) and I do not believe this vehicle has ever been in any accidents. This 28 year old 4runner is sold as is with no warranty and no return, If you want to see it in person and test drive I am fine with that as long as we can agree on when to meet up. a $500 non refundable deposit is due by pay pal within 24 hours of the close of the auction, The balance of the purchase price must be paid using a bank money order only and sent to me in full within 3 business days of the close of the auction. First generation 4runners in this condition and with low miles are becoming next to impossible to find. Again, I will answer any other questions that I can. Please read the whole disclaimer, that said I bought at auction and paid Ca DMV $142 reg and have a red temp tag, it needs at least catalytic to pass smog maybe more... running hot, replaced a couple sensors & thermostat, still hot but engine runs smooth and quiet shifts great. rear power window not working, paint came back after rub & wax, if your from WA or OR no worries on smog. if your looking for an offroad wheeler it's ready for your custom work, the inside is very dirty plastic missing or broke, cowling around steering column missing, seats are ripped & covered, no radio, the drivers window has a problem rolling seems like stripped handle, back seat is great. sometimes you have to push the shifter forward to get it to start 1986 4 runner starts & drives but is running hot, alright if you read to here you'll love this 4runner, I can help with shipping but I'd prefer local I want you to come see this and keep my 100% satisfaction rate. it does not have a ca title yet, I have the temp for dmv and proper sale paper work. bill of sale and transfer. no salvage or rebuild problems, last titled in OR are we clear?? Up for sale is my 88 4Runner 3.0 v6 4WD. AC blows cold. The top end of the engine was just rebuilt and I have receipts to show. Runs great with no mechanical problems. Has pioneer X2500 BT stereo with Bluetooth and talk capabilities. Has subwoofer and kicker speakers throughout. Has two kicker amps as well. Grant steering wheel. Upgraded lights and front grill with added lights. 3 inch Pro Comp lift. BFG Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires with plenty of tread. Many others not listed. Overall a great truck and only selling because I need a commuter for work. Has a few small dents and scrapes but no rust and straight body.Thanks for looking.

Including in this auction/listing are two(2) 4runners. One is in a good running condition and the 2nd one is a donor car for parts. The one that runs is a 1988 in white color with a 4inch lift. Sits on Baja MTZ tires. Has a roof rack and a 12000 lbs winch. It runs great with no engine or transmission problems. AC Blows Cold and has a good sound system. Has a swapped engine with 90,000 miles, new timing, new fan and much more. The second 4runner is a 1989 and does not run. I kept this truck for parts. Both are pink title. Engine is blown on the donor. Last photo is a photo of the Donor car.

One of the cleanest 1st gen runners on the road. There is are a couple chips in the paint by the wheels well. The chrome trim over the driver side rear wheel well is dented. Not the body, just the trim. There is a leak in the main seal, small leak but needs to be fixed. I was quoted $350 to fix. The interior was redone, all vinyl and new carpet as well as the material around the gear shifter. Interior is a solid 7.5 out of 10. The arm rest is missing but I have extra material to match the interior incase someone can find one.
