Beautiful car. This car has been completely restored and professionally painted. The car is turnkey and needs nothing to turn heads at any car show. Very strong, quick and dependable. 400 cu with mild cam Electronic Ignition Long tube ceramic headers 2-/3/4" dual exhaust w removable crossover Hydraulic clutch actuation Beefed up Borg Warner WC 5 speed transmission 3:73 posi rearend with Moser gears Factory restored & working AC This car is as clean underneath as it is on top. Lived its life in New Mexico and the last 9 years in NC. Very Straight, never an accident. Paint is now 4 years old, never seen rain, and what you see is clearcoat with never even having wax on the car. Its a real head turner. Just a blast to drive and sounds unbelievable. For sale is my AUTO black on black 2001 ws6 , one of the most desirable f body combinations , here's a little information about the car. Only modification is the SLP LM catback . The paint is not in great condition which is why the car is priced relatively low compared to other black ws6's . I'd rate the paint and body a 6.5/10 . The interior is actually pretty nice besides a tear in the drivers seat. The dash is fully intact and not cracked, windows and headlights work great. The car has a healthy engine and pulls like it should, transmission shifts great . As you can see, the wheels are not stock but you will receive the OEM ws6 17" wheels. Those are a little bit rough but the tires are in good shape. I'd prefer to deal with cash buyers only and not banks. Feel free to contact me and set up a time to come check it out! Here you have my "mid life" crisis car. A razor straight unmolested frame up finished 79 Trans am I've enjoyed these past 8 years. I spent 3 years restoring it andthe past 5 driving it. Many people know1979 was the highest production year of Pontiac Trans am ever. Not everyone one knows only 2300 units were produced as a Hard top coupe (without T-Tops) and a true Pontiac 400 ci 4 speed WS6. To name only a few of the upgrades: Correct (not original) 400ci 6X head engineMild cam, electronic ignition, Demon Carb, long tube ceramic headers, and more5 speed Borg Warner world class transmission with upgraded thrust bearingsHydraulically actuated clutch from '10- vette. This TA shifts, drives and feels like a late model VetteApprox. 5,500 miles on drive train 4 wheel disc brakes - 1st year for this option3:73 posi-traction rear upgraded with full Moser gear setAll original gauges in working condition (less clock)This cars cool factory option package is this: 400ci, 4 speed, air conditioning - thats it!! - No power locks, no power windows, no radio, no nothing - only a great engine and 4 (now 5 speed)Incredible (and very expensive) Starlight Black paint job. Perfect. 4 years old now.Paint is the only thing I did not do myself on this car - Professional This car sounds incredibly sweet moving down the road with custom 3" exhaust and crossovers. This is a turnkey cruiser which needs nothing. If you want to light the tires up when leaving, or just throw it into 5th gear and cruise at 70 - then this head turner is for you. A perfect example of an adult owned and driven ws-6 trans am. Very low miles and a nice list of tasteful mods to get you started. Only selling to buy my personal dream car , she runs perfect and will easily go for years to come. Modifications: Pacesetter LT'snon-catted ypipe, cutout Borla catback SLP lid NGK spark plugs Hotchkis springs Koni SA shocks I think BMR adjustable panhard Lower control arms Dyno tuned and no Check engine light ( will pass emissions ) Has wheel adapters on back just for looks, can easily be removed. The only " flaws" with the car is , the Pillar behind windows is bubbling a little bit which is very common with these cars, and a couple of small dull spots on the hood that the camera will not pick up.
