The outside is silver (more of a champagne color), and the inside is tan cloth. For sale is a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The car actually belongs to my nephew, and we have a clear Arizona title in his name. However, I gave him the money to buy it 6 months ago so he will give me the money when we sell it. If the car does not sell before he goes back to school in Arizona, he will sign the title over to me so I can sell it. As for the car itself - It is an Arizona car so it has absolutely NO rust issues. I just washed it and didn't even see any dings. The paint is mostly good, has clear coat peeling on the rear bumper cover and an area on the deck lid (trunk) about the size of a baseball that appears to be starting to fade. Other than that the paint and body are in great condition. Somebody did install the Landau top which has a few small tears in it, and one trim piece missing. Mechanically it starts, runs and drives as you expect from a full sized car from 2000. It has 141,xxx miles , motor runs well, transmission shifts well in all gears. The front tires are almost new, rears will need replaced soon, but should pass inspection. Everything works , A/C blows cool but not ice cold. Front seat is nice, rear seat has two holes on the passenger side (pictured). Wheels are off a Ford Explorer. It had aftermarket wheels when he bought, but he curbed it and tore up two of the wheels and tires. I have driven it as it sits, and there are no vibrations at any speed. It tracks perfectly straight, brakes in a straight line as well. NADA shows clean retail as 3000, trade in value 1900. I think it is worth every bit of that Any questions, call Jeff 1-573-837-8985 . 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis 103,500 miles Regular oil changes, runs like a top. I just replaced it with another newer Marquis so I’m letting this one go. Everything works except as noted below. This has been my daily driver for 8 years that I purchased from Florida with 20k on it. Clean clear title. I have most of the service records and have included excerpts below. I just had the heater core replaced and quality Good Year tires have lots of tread left so it’s ready for winter. Sold as is. $500 deposit required within 3 days of auction close via. paypal. If you want it shipped I will be happy to meet the hauler for you and put it on a truck, local pickup in Cleveland. I'll give you the title once the car is paid for and give you the keys once the title has changed hands. Condition Notes: · Some surface scratches to paint. · Ding in PS rear plastic bumper molding. · Small rust spot in DS front quarter above chrome trim. · Some rust on top of wind shield. · Parking brake is not functioning. · The plastic cover under the steering wheel needs a grommet which I never bought. · Only 22k put on 80k warranty Good Year Assurance Triple Tread tires. There is a slight leak when it rains hard that comes in the PS. It is coming straight down the pillar and I know this from having removed plastic cover down there and observed the drip. I have attempted to replicate this with buckets of water and a hose but have been unable to do so and when it does the leak is a minimal very slow drip. Cruise works, all windows work, all locks work, heater works, A/C works and is nice and cold. Below is documented work history I have in my possession. 1998 Grand Marquis - 1 owner vehicle purchased new. Well kept - maintenance records - good tires and wheels, engine strong, trans strong - recent brakes - front facia rough shape has dent and scrape right rear quarter. Rear seats ok passenger and driver seats normal wear for 144k miles. Have original white seat covers - were replaced with gray. Performance White, has rear air suspension and factory traction assist and stiffer suspension. Cigarette lighter does not work, cruise control intermittent. She currently will not start needs a tank fuel pump (possibly) will need to be towed. Included are shop manuals, extra shocks and new air bags for rear suspension. Don't have time to mess with it and spend a lot of time on her. She is a good project car or something a young man or woman could fix up and have a solid vehicle for work etc. Pickup only in Bunker Hill WV. This ole girl has been a great car for my wife and the best car we have ever owned. She is very sad to see her go.
