The time has come for me to sell my beloved 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis. Having only recently arrived in California, this car has been driven gently, garage kept, and very well maintained. Thanks to regular servicing, the 4.6 liter Ford V8 and automatic transmission run like new and perform well both in town and on the highway. In fact, when I had the car smog-tested in late September, I was told by the technician that she blew cleaner than the 2007 BMW that tested before me! The dark blue paint has been cared for and is in surprisingly good shape for its age. The vehicle has no rust and only sports a few small dings, scratches, swirl-marks, and chips. The two-tone leather and blue cloth interior are in very good shape and the 8-way power seats, power windows, and power locks work brilliantly. Furthermore, the air conditioner works like a dream, the heater is so toasty that it could melt lead, and the radio, though original, is surprising good. 2004 - Mercury Grand Marquis - LS With all options and everything works. This vehicle runs excellent.. I have owned it for about 5 years and kept good care of it... It was my wife's car but unfortunately she recently passed away.. Since I have 5 cars... some need to go... The Grand Marquis is one of the best vehicles on the road for reliability and comfort... and this one is no exception... It shows well.. and runs perfect.. In the five years I have owned it I have had zero problems with it... It has a new set of tires.. which is all that it needed... It has on small blemish on the right rear bumper..a scratch on the bumper...but no body damage... It also has a small patch of paint (transferred from my shirt on the drivers backrest).. I will attempt to remove this before shipping...and both blemishes are shown in the pictures... I actually hate to sell it because it is an awesome and very, very reliable and comfortable car... This is luxury for a small price... I am retired and live in the country, so, this car did not receive daily commute abuse.... as this car is used, it has no warranties expressed or implied...that said..
