Please to bring you 1990 420 SEL. In fantastic condition both interior and exterior. All electronics function properly to include AC , heat, all power windows, sunroof, power seats. All maintenance records up to date to include timing chain package, fresh fluids including transmission flush, battery, all new drive belts. Comes with 2 sets of wheels winter set is currently on but also comes with a nice set of MB 16 inch. Original owners manual and 2 keys are included with the sale. This 420 SEL runs very smooth with great shifting auto transmission. There are around 255000 miles on the frame. But you would never guess by the way the vehicle performs. I purchased this car from a retired Colonel who had taken great care of this Mercedes. With that being said I am also retired Military and always paid attention to detailed services on all my cars. Nada book is around $6000 high is around $14000. This is a great opportunity to own soon to be classic at wonderful price. Absolutely amazing condition, one of the rarest cars with 6.9 liter engine! Only 462 was made for North America. Very strong and very fast. No rust, no issues. this car needs full restoration let start in the front of the car you will need driver side headlight new lens for the fog lights it needs grille, front bumper chrome is pitted the front fenders are good shape the hood is good condition the windshield has crack in the passenger side of the glass on passenger door is good condition however you will passenger motor to operate the glass,the driver side has big dent in the door ,you will driver side window regulator,the rear doors are good condition rear windshield is fair condition no cracks or damage the rear trunk has minor rust at the bottom trunk lid the rear lens are in fair with no damage,you need you need rear bumper has damage for interior of the the front seats have to be replace driver has major damage on shoulder and lower half of the seat the the passenger side seats lower part the of seat has large tear in the seat ok for engine and transmission need full rebuild you need replace complete exhaust system please keep in mind this car 28 years old so it needs a lot attention thank you looking

1987 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL - Green metallic with Tan leather interior. Bought from a retired couple moving to Hawaii in 2013. Original manuals and floor mats under custom coconut grass mat covers. The interior and exterior are in very good to excellent condition with a new exhaust system installed in April of 2015. Also has a new 2015 Kenwood HD Radio Receiver and CD player with USB input. This is a very clean and well maintained car, garaged for most of its life. A previous owner used to take this car to Europe for shows and tours. This would be a great addition for any collector or even for a limo service. The car drives amazingly smooth and quiet. The car is rust and damage free. The paint has some minor fading on the hood and trunk lid. A small dent in the top rear driver side fender close to the trunk lid was professionally repaired in 2015. The hub caps have some minor fading and scuffing. Power driver's seat sometimes sticks when moving to the rear and the power adjustment for the passenger rear view mirror may not work. Looking to sell my 1989 Mercedes-Benz 420 SEL. $1500 cash or best reasonable offer. 129k miles. Clean title. Has not been running since July of last year. I am the second owner of the car, purchased in 2007 from the original owners. I am not mechanically inclined, so my knowledge of the issues surrounding the vehicle are limited. During my ownership of the car, I have been continually struggling with the fuel system. Clogged injectors, spark plugs, and wires mostly. And when it stopped running in July of last year, the car would continually try to turn over when the key was turned, but it just wouldn't start. I didn't have the money to fix it at the time, so I garaged it, and my wife and I have been using 1 car ever since. Other known issues include: A/C leak (needs retrofitting from R-12 to R-134a) Oil leak Radio/Antenna need fixed Driver's electric seat adjustment switch needs replaced (lean forward doesn't work) 1 Power window switch needs replaced Rear-view mirror housing is cracked Needs new wheels/tires (Bead was offset, so tires leaked air very slowly. Slime was used to fix all 4 tires a few years ago. Tire shop said it would be easier to just replace them all, than try to clean out slime.) Abrasive damage to leather of driver's seat from getting in and out of the vehicle. I really hate having to sell this car. It drove like a champ in its better days. Original owners purchased new for $79,000 from a Mercedes dealer in Hutchinson, KS in 1989 to use as a get-away vehicle to their mountain vacation home in Vail, Colorado. It's a solid-bodied, V8 highway-driving dream. I have yet to ride in a more smooth-riding highway vehicle. It will be a great vehicle to the right buyer who will return it to its former glory. Very clean 1991 420SELI am selling my 4th SEL. I have spent the last 6 months replacing parts and updating features. The car has been sold twice and the ebay buyers have failed to pay. The car has had 5 new belts, new distributor, new cap, new rotor, new plugs, new front tie rods and end links, new voltage regulator, new radiator, ,new Hirschman antenna, new radio with Bluetooth, new back up camera wired to stare LCD, new evaporator, new overflow tank, new steering stabilizer, new LED instrument lights, new USB port, new 12 outlet, freshly painted front and rear bumpers, new wiper blades , new under hood pad, new spark plug wires, 4 Brand New tires(12 miles on them), new brake pads front and rear. I hate to be like that but after two failed payers, I must.The car has had 5 new belts, new distributor, new cap, new rotor, new plugs, new front tie rods and end links, new voltage regulator, new radiator, ,new Hirschman antenna, new radio with Bluetooth, new back up camera wired to stereo LCD, new evaporator, new overflow tank, new steering stabilizer, new LED instrument lights, new USB port, new 12v outlet, freshly painted front and rear bumpers, new wiper blades , new under hood pad, new spark plug wires, 4 Brand New tires(12 miles on them), new brake pads front and rear. I can show you the receipts and those from EBAY , where I purchased some of the parts.All this car needs is a front end alignment since the front end suspension components were replaced.This car also has wireless door locks (2 fobs) , so you can lock and unlock without a key.The handsfree Bluetooth, back up camera and keyless entry work flawlessly. Thats it. I am now working on a 1987 560SL and need the work space. I have 100% positive feedback. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping , but I will help as I can.
