Overall this Mercedes is in good used condition. The engine runs smooth it does not smoke or knock. The transmission shifts great and it drives straight down the road. There are some minor imperfections like you would find in any used vehicle small rock chips, minor wears in the carpet and upholstery ect. Up for auction is a pretty nice 1980 Mercedes 450SL Roadster. I bought this car from the original owner. It hasn't been driven much lately and I was asked to find it a new home. All in all it's a solid car. Garage kept. As stated above it does have a few things that need to be address but nothing major. I just had the brake master cylinder replaced because the car was losing pedal pressure. Stops perfect now. I have records of a recent service including, new battery, oil service, window switches, sway bar end links, wiper blades, fuel pump relay, heater hoses, coolant flush and new exhaust hangers. You getting a nice driver. With a little TLC this car could make a really nice car. Let me know if you have any questions. Also included is a stand and garage pulley system for the hardtop. Up for sale is our 1977 Mercedes-Benz 450SL, which has been in the family for some time now. It has a new motor, which has only 79,000 miles on it while the rest of the car has around 79,000 Paint is original with slight fading ...Interior is in very good shape, as you can see. The car has an automatic transmission, power windows, A/C, CD player and both a soft and hard top. Recently, the car received a new alternator, breather hose and valve cover gasket at nearly $500.
