"Betty Blue" is COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL THROUGHOUT except for: newer transmission, professional exhaust and vacuum repair, brand-new battery. Would make a good winter "tweaking" project, or a solid winter car so your shiny new one doesn't depreciate. THE GOOD NEWS: Very good condition throughout, IMMACULATE roomy interior, non-smoker lady-driven,nicely maintained, mine since 2007. Fun, comfortable, Powerful WELL-BUILT V8 engine. A/C, CRUISE, LEATHER, P/W, P/B. MECHANICALLY SOUND. Includes both hard and soft tops, ALL original owner's manuals, receipts for 7 years of maintenance, 5 knowledge books, brochures, spare parts, touch-up paint, etc. THE BAD NEWS: ORIGINAL PAINT is in need of work, nothing that couldn't be done in your home garage. Surface rust in a couple of small spots, professional remediation done 2 years ago. Minor electrical problems, seems to need connectors in the dash to be plugged back together (common for vehicles of this age/type). Vacuum leak, probably inside the passenger door since that lock sticks, but mechanics here want $120/hr and 6+ hours just to look for it, so again, if you have a home garage…. Oh, and the ORIGINAL cassette deck doesn't actually play cassettes any more; radio works fine. I can include a selection of 80's cassette tapes for the right buyer! Wonderful car, but I had to put in a new furnace ($5000!!!) and my job runs out at the end of the month. Last chance, if I don't sell her quickly I will have to keep her and sell my little Jeep TJ instead.
