Here's our 1992 Mercedes 300CE Sportline coupe. I bought this from the second owner about 6 years ago. What made this car the one to purchase was the following criteria: Southern California car, color combination, condition, few owners, original paint, always garaged, Sportline optioned (very few of these cars. They are outfitted with the larger wheels, faster steering rack, bigger stabilizer bars and lowered suspension). With a Sportline car, you are basically going to get the car fully optioned. This car is only missing the rear window electric shade (which I have since then purchased, but not installed. It will be included in the sale).Since the initial purchase, I have replaced quite a few things to bring the vehicle up to near-new running condition and into the 21st century. Updates to make the car a better fit in today's world are the following: I replaced the original Becker radio with a Blaupunkt unit that includes Bluetooth and USB music input. This allows the owner to insert a USB stick into the connector installed in the glovebox; allows the owner to pair a mobile phone to the system and use hands-free communication and looks well-suited in the dash. I also replaced the front dash speakers with a factory-fit set from Rainbow that are true 2-way coaxial speakers, as well as adding a JL subwoofer/amplifier in the trunk that is completely removable if the space is needed. The sound system is fantastic at this point. The interior rear-view mirror was another item I replaced with a mirror specifically built for the W124 cars that offers automatic dimming, a compass and has 3 Homelink programmable buttons on it. Great upgrade. On the outside, I replaced the original headlight/turn signal configuration with the glass european headlights and clear corner markers. I even installed the adjustable headlight switch assembly inside the car so the headlight aim can be adjusted for cargo load. Something the US cars were never offered with. I removed the headlight wipers as I believe they clutter the car. Around back, I installed lightly smoked taillights, similar to how the later Mercs were done. With regards to service, what comes to mind is the automatic transmission and the torque converter, fuel injectors, entire ignition system as well as the ignition computer, coil and flywheel pickup. Other items would be air and fuel filters, the fuel pump check valves and sensors. The original transmission was slow to engage reverse and was over-speeding slightly during shifts, so it was replaced. I will have to say, replacing the transmission with a new unit was a major performance and shift pattern enhancement. I have also replaced the brakes, obviously changed fluids and a handful of hoses. The car drives as it should. It looks fantastic. Paint is in excellent original condition. Interior is flawless. Everything is functional, including the seatbelt presenters (as seen in one of the photos). All the original parts (headlights, taillights, headlight wipers, Becker stereo, etc) are available and will go with the car.

You are looking at a rare USA Amg wide body that is said to be 1 of 27 built by Beverly Hills Mercedes Dealership. The car is in very nice shape. All cosmetic flaws reflect 138k miles and being 26 years old. I believe the car is nicer than most 138k cars. Interior looks nice and shows minor signs of wear which is consistant to mileage. Car runs great and shifts flawless. Has ALSD/LSD/Posi traction/sure grip rear. Very rare for mercedes in that day and age. I have taken enough photos for someone to gauge what they are buying. This is a piece of Mercedes history. I am selling this car for a friend of mine. He is an older gentlemen and no longer has time to own 4 rare/nice Mercedes. He is cutting back to Two cars. He no longer wants to maintain and register and insure 4 vehicles. Can be very expensive maintaining 4 mercedes. He rarely drives the car anymore. He non opted the car. Clear title. I have driven the car with two 1 day permits. I put over 250 miles on it. It drives very well. The car tracks true and straight. Tires do not rub the flared fenders. Heater seems to blow some hot air while in the off position. Not a huge deal but may need attention in the near future. Has a very nice stereo set up. The stereo is in the locked security setting. I have the security card but I am not electronically savvy. My friend is def and never cared to figure it out most likely. $500 deposit right away and non refundable. This is a buy it now or make offer listing. We are not sure exactly what the car is worth but we're not asking $10-15k either. There is no paperwork with the car. Just the way it goes sometimes. Needs an owner that wants to enjoy the car. Any questions please ask before you make an offer. Someone is going to get a great deal. You will be responsible for smogging the car in your county/city/state. We will not be responsible for this. We are not going to fix the heat coming out of the dash. He is done maintaining 4 vehicles. Clear title in hand and ready for new owner!!!

Wow!!! This beautiful and sought after Mercedes 300CE 24 valve is up for sale, similar cars are selling for close to $13,000, please do a little research. This car is in OUTSTANDING condition (for the age) inside and out. Garage kept, non smoker with less than 142,300 miles (the car looks and behaves as a 50K miles car) the original color has a deep gloss; it is very evident this car has spent it’s life in the garage, has all 4 or 5 keys. Air condition works great (Blows ice cold) The tires (Michelin) are almost new, the spare wheel has never been used and is untouched-new condition, brakes are in very good condition, and I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that the car needs. The car also has the original floormats in great condition which are not included in the pics. (Included in the sale) the carpet, headliner sunroof are all in exceptional shape. This indestructible machine, as enthusiasts like to call it, drives fantastic, the suspension feels tight as well as the steering wheel. There are no funny noises at all, no clunking, no vibration, no nothing (lol). The car has the 3.0L 24 valve engine not the under powered 2.6 or 2.8L The interior is in spectacular condition, and shows minimum to no signs of wear, this is the leather version and not the vinyl as many of them have, the seats are super firm and the dash is in perfect condition. The car also has the factory 8 speaker sound system with its original working radio-cassette and power antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean, there are no signs of any leaking of any kind of fluids. The car recently had all fluids checked and serviced (engine, transmission, radiator, etc.) Underneath the car is as clean as can be and you can still see the original paint color in great cond. The fenders that frame the wheel wells are like new and did not even notice dirt on them. This car still has all factory stickers (VIN no.) on all doors, engine area, trunk, front and rear bumper. This car is the exact opposite of the typical used car, and is truly in fantastic shape. I hate my time being wasted, and will not waste yours. This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. This is the needle in the haystack, a true “NO DISAPPOINTMENTS” car. Please call me with any questions, or to set up a mutually convenient time to see and drive the car at 310-279-0254 I would like to apologize for the pics. quality, they were taken with a cell phone. Please note, this car is 25 years old and there might be minor chips, scratches, dings or dents. I encourage everybody to get a prepurchase inspection.

I am selling a 1993 Mercedes 300 ce cab. This is a rare car that you do not see many of. It is a triple black car. All the bumpers and skirts have been color matched black. Also the chrome bezel has been shaved and painted with a custom grill. I put OEM euro lights on the car as well. This car needs work and deserves to be fixed up to bring it back to its original glory. The paint needs to be buffed out, the hood has some oxidation which either can be buffed out or has to be re painted. This car idles rough with the check engine light on. It needs a rear view mirror as well. This will be a great car when it is fixed up. The top works great and all the hydraulic systems are good with no leaks. I am the second owner of this car.
