Title is clear.The convertible top isn't working (hydraulics need to be rebuilt).Interior has some damage: peeling plastic on dash, broken cupholder, broken center tray, needs new headliner Transmission falls out of third gear (linkage issue) -- otherwise fine, doesn't affect driving, other gears are fine'SRS' light on the dash is on; they looked at it last time I had it serviced and couldn't figure out why.Paint has some blemishes / scratches / dings (see pictures)Needs a new spare tire (rim is OK, but tire is flat). 1999 Mercedes Benz 230SLK Sport "Only 87K" Very Rare Color 5-Speed/Supercharged This is a fantastic opportunty to own a very well cared for, 1999 Mercedes Benz 230SLK Sport"Only 87K. It is the most sought after color combination there is the Beautiful Bright Yellow with Graphite Leather Interior (Looks Black), All Original a True Classic with everything right. This is the right Car and has all the right things that will make increase in value. It is the Right Color, is in Fatastic Condition, Low Mileage, thee rare and sought after 5-speed and the Factory Sport Package and has been very well preserved. The Sport Package is about a $4000 opition as you can see on the window sticker (there is a closeup picture of it).It has the bigger Factory AMG Wheels and AMG Exhaust along with some other upgrades body kit and interior trim that is carbon fiber. A beautiful example of a Mercedes 320 SLK. I bought this from the original owner who drove it only on the weekends to his house in Sag Harbor. All highway miles. Which you can tell buy the condition of the car. This car was always maintained at the Mercedes dealer. By him and me also. The mobil one was changed every 3,000 miles not every 5,000 miles. I own a BMW as well as a Vintage Porsche 928s. I choose all of my german cars carefully,low miles excellent condition and always dealer maintained. Although a SLK is basically bulletproof, this one is extra nice. If you are looking to spend less than what I am asking, I think you might find a dependable one with under 75,000 miles. But if you don't mind spending a little more for one that has been maintained by the dealer buy this one. I have turned down 3 offers, sorry no fire sale here to be found. This car has been so enjoyable riding with the top down, I am looking to upgrade to a SLS. The car was fully serviced at the dealer when I bought it including new tires. I will have the dealer change the oil and they always do a 100 point check on any car bought in so you know it will be perfect when you get it.

This is a very nice condition two owner car. I bought it from the original owner because he always had it serviced at the Mercedes Dealer. Even though Mobil 1 only needs to be changed every 5,000 he changed it every 3,000 miles. He even had the oil changed at the dealer. So money was no object with the car for him. I am the same way with all my german cars. I own a vintage Porsche and a BMW. And I only use the dealer for all maintenance. I am 55 years old and know how to treat a automobile. I bought this a little over a year ago and put a little over 2000 miles on it. I paid 14k for it. Before buying it I looked at some rating web sites. The SLK had over 540, 5 star ratings. Know one had any bad things to say about the SLK. And I agree, a very nice driving machine. The car has a wind screen which makes driving with the top down very enjoyable. Because your hair does not get all blown around, which my wife likes. The car is pictured as I drive it. Not all armour all up. I would imagine any SLK with under 75,000 would be a good car. But if you want one in excellent condition and dealer maintained spend the extra thousand and buy this one. I will get the cars oil changed and serviced before sending it off to you. The MB dealer always do a 100 point inspection every time you bring it in. So you know it will be perfect.

You are looking at a VERY rare 2012 SLK350 Hardtop Convertible. I am the second owner. The original owner ordered this car with an extremely stunning (and rare) red leather interior! What also sets this car apart from the rest, is the AMG Sport Body Pkg. and the AMG wheels. I purchased this car near a year and a half ago from Freehold Mercedes in Freehold NJ. At that time the car had just 7500 original miles on it. The gentleman that bought it new, is a regular customer of this dealership and orders a new car every couple years. It was told to me that he orders fully loaded vehicles and spares little to NO expense. I have the build sheet for this car, and it reflects a factory MSRP of $63,695. To date the car has a scant 9642 miles on the odo. It has never been in salt, snow or any seriously inclement weather...and it shows! ZERO rust anywhere. All four wheels have ZERO scuffs or curb rash. The seats appear to have not been used for 96 miles...nonetheless 9642 miles. The car still smells like a Brand New Mercedes when you open the door! It is completely original, down to the tires. No modifications have been done to it. The battery was replaced in March of this year. I have 3 key fobs for the "Keyless GO" option...two fobs are brand new. Beside the build sheet, I have all the owners books/manuals. It has a clean CarFax...never any accidents, body work or touch up paint. In fact, the ONLY blemish on the entire car is pictured. There is a tiny scratch in the left front fender in front of the driver door. I have a new bottle of Mars Red touch up paint for it, but got scared and left it alone. I didn't want to draw any attention to it with a blob of touch up paint. This car has Premium 1 Pkg. S32 Command Launch Pkg. 321 Sport Pkg. (AMG Body Kit and Wheels) Panorama Roof (when the top is up, you still have a sunroof!) and Keyless GO, as I mentioned before. I have owned plenty of nice automobiles...but NEVER have we received the kind of oohs and aahs from people when we drive this car around town!! It has a commanding curb appeal like NO other. The only reason for the sale is we have a new car ordered and waiting and do not want to take a bath on a trade in. These cars are not like regular convertibles...when the top is up, it drives and sounds like a hardtop car, with NO fear of a cloth top getting cut, creased or blemished. But when it folds down, you get all of the benefits of a convertible. Plus, as you would expect with German engineering and construction, with the top down the car is INCREDIBLY rigid! I have a clean and clear NJ title in hand and can assist with shipping arrangements, but shipping costs are to be paid for by the buyer. Im a nurse, with very little time to shop online, much less sell online- so yes, its my first time selling here, and Yes- you can actually trust me. :) AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE DETAILED REPORT, THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN ANY ACCIDENTS IN SIXTEEN YEARS! ----NOR HAVE THERE EVER BEEN ANY LIENS, LOANS, ETC (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ONE WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT AND FINANCED WHEN BRAND NEW) For sale is my 3rd owner Mercedes Benz SLK230. CORRECTION FROM ORIGINAL LISTING - THIS IS A 1999, NOT A 1998. Owner 1: cardiac surgeon -sold at 24k miles to Owner 2: His son-in-law and elite school headmaster who - sold to ME at 48k miles and Owner 3: me! (I'm a neurosurgical nurse), selling at 68k miles. Car was regularly serviced A/B alternating services at the Mercedes Benz dealer. I haven't taken it for service A yet as I havent needed to, and havent had any issues - I dont drive it everyday., NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE. NONE. ZIP. ZERO. ZILCH IT IS STRONG, AND RUNS OUTSTANDING. EXTERIOR IS PRISTINE WITH ONLY THE TINIEST IMPERFECTIONS.... INTERIOR HAS THE USUAL, (and almost certain for all same models) Mercedes Benz 'first and second generation' issues - NONE of which are mechanical. These things are MORE than common, and are essentially material engineering flaws in which Mercedes is the culprit-not a reflection of the treatment or upkeep by the owners. Usual issues with interior: Ignition key plastic housing ALWAYS CRACKS. (Mine did, relacement plastic found online, for 23.92) Outside mirrors ALWAYS HAVE ruptured LCD liquid in them (since they are auto dimming-and there was a major flaw in the mirrors used for the SLK, affecting over 300,000 owners. ) I've already replaced them. 'Rubberized interior paints " were a HORRIBLE GERMAN MANUFACTURING DECISION FOR AN AUTO INTERIOR, AND MOST SLK'S BEGAN TO CHIP, SCRATCH OFF, OR COMPROMISE in some manner. It was incredibly aggravating and I took the liberty of just using a glossy black interior paint to cover up the awful red lacking spots! Literally thousands of Mercedes owners were PISSED, BUT MERCEDES HAD NEVER MADE IT A RECALL....my suggestion would be to pull out the old odometer area housing and just replace the plastics - about 147.50 online - price reflects such). ANOTHER COMMON FLAW: THE MIDDLE GAUGE ILLUMINATION PANELS' BULBS BURN OUT QUICK. AS MINE DID. I HAVE THE BULBS TO REPLACE THEM (THIS IS A SIMPLE EASY CHEAP REPAIR). There are other common issues, but luckily I have not experianced any of them. I have heard things like the door handles, the electric top, etc - but thank GOD I havent had any of that....it's ALL AESTHETIC INTERIOR related, and the buyer should be prepared to invest in new plastic anyway - you'd have this SAME problem with ANY slk230 1998-1999, or 2000. Plastic needs to be redone and when it is, this car will literally be in MINT condition. SEATS ARE PICANTE RED AND BLACK RACING STRIPED LEATHER AND ARE IN PRISTINE CONDITION. ALL MANUALS AND hard top NETTING ETC. IS WITH THE CAR AND INTACT. all of these are Simple aesthetic REPAIRS, COMMON AND NOTORIOUS for MB SLK230's, and EVERY SINGLE 1998-1999 mb SLK230 YOU COME ACROSS WILL EITHER HAVE IT now, OR HAVE HAD IT IN THE PAST AND IT WAS REPLACED BY ITS OWNER, OR WILL HAVE IN THE FUTURE - -BANK ON IT. I PROMISE. Keep in mind, this car is SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD , AND HAS 68K MILES ON IT....INSANE! YOU COULD NOT FIND A BETTER MECHANICALLY MAINTAINED 1998 SLK230 ANYWHERE. THE FIRST OWNER WAS A CARDIAC SURGEON WHO GAVE IT UP AT 24k MILES DUE TO A HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY THAT PREVENTED HIM FROM SHIFTING. HE SOLD IT TO HIS SON-IN-LAW - WHO KEPT IT FOR ABOUT 25K MILES, LOVED MERCEDES SO MUCH, AND WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A G-CLASS - LISTED THIS FOR SALE, AND I BOUGHT IT. I'VE HAD IT SINCE 49K MILES. I HAVE OWNED MB IN THE PAST, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN THE MOST RELIABLE CARS IVE EVER HAD. THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE. BOTH LEATHER SEATS ARE HEATED. THIS PARTICULAR MODEL IS THE SPORT WITH THE AMG ACCESSORIES AND 17IN AMG RIMS. I have taken immaculate care of this car, and I am selling it for one reason only: TO FINALLY OPEN MY BUSINESS. AND ONCE I DO? I WILL TURN RIGHT AROUND THE MINUTE I AM CAPABLE FINANCIALLY, AND BUY ANOTHER SLK...THEY ARE SIMPLY T H A T BAD-ASS, PERIOD. IT'S IS A VERY RARE 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, AND IS RIDICULOUSLY POWERFUL WITH A KOMPRESSOR THAT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. GAS MILEAGE IS GREAT- usually get around 28 mpg. Update: Top was acting bizarre yesterday while it was being detailed, UGH- with hydraulics acting sticky. I will repair this before it is delivered, and have already spoken to my mercedes mechanic, who quotes 627.00 to repair to fully functioning for many more years. You DO have the option of skipping the repair if you are mechanically inclined or a dealer, and I will knock of 500 bucks. Otherwise, I will repair it and the winning selling price will remain.
