Very nice SLK350, loaded with it all, good tires, this thing is a dream to drive. I bought this for my wife, it was supposedly "flooded". Title is rebuilt. I don't find any evidence of it being wet. Nothing (is in water) was in the bottom of the trunk etc., It has a noise on the first 30 seconds or so when you start it of some electric motor or something that comes on just when you start it and its cold, and the check engine light just came on (it was not on when I got it, and runs fine). I don't deal with Mercedes, and she doesn't like it, so I'm gonna sell her off! It has some body damage on the front from where those clowns loaded it on the trailer. (see photos). If you want to save some money on this by fixing (or just leaving) the front and fixing the check engine light. This is right up your alley. I buy all my stuff from the insurance company "as is"....so I don't know who/what/when/where/how any history on it. Everything I have tested/used works. This is a 1998 Mercedes Benz SLK 230 roadster. It is in great running condition. I have owned this since May 2003. Purchased when it had 39,000 miles. Garage kept. All services always up to date. Clear title. New tires at 92,000 miles ($613) Riken Raptor HR. Hard top convertible and perfect for summer. It's a super fun clean car and very reliable. Inside is very clean, has some scratches on exterior can be touched up. Couple of dings not drastic. Has original windscreen that fits over headrests and original books. Radio works but would probably need to be replaced. The numbers on the dial have faded. Floor mat on drivers side needs new rubber backing. Never wrecked, only fender bender when a lady backed into me in a parking lot. Professionally repaired. NON Smoker. Only selling because I got a new one for Christmas. Local pick up only.
