Up for sale is a beautiful black on black 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK-55 AMG sitting on brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires and fresh from a complete AMG brake replacement! The car is one of only a handful 2010 SLK55s in existence equipped with the 030 AMG Performance Package upgrade ($7,030), which includes the following upgrades over a stock SLK55: · AMG Nürburgring adjustable sport suspension · Special two-piece forged 5-spoke AMG wheels · AMG three-spoke sport steering wheel · Carbon fiber interior trim · Removal of the top speed limiter · Mercedes-Benz’s incredible AMG performance brake package: > In the front: 6-piston calipers Ceramic pads 360mm internally ventilated and perforated, multi-piece rotors > In the rear: 4-piston calipers Ceramic pads 330mm internally ventilated and perforated rotors. The car is also loaded with XENON self-leveling headlights, heated sport seats, SIRIUS/XM satellite radio, and NAVIGATION!I purchased the vehicle from a dealer in Houston, Texas, just down the road from the headquarters of Eurocharged Performance USA. I had the car delivered to Eurocharged HQ where they performed an ECU performance tune ($450). They also supplied an ECU cable in the event the owner ever wishes to easily remove or reflash the tuning program. I will include this cable with the sale of the car. I then had the car delivered to Kleemann USA headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to have KLEEMANN exhaust headers and downtubes installed. According to published dyno reports, the combined upgrades should net an additional +57 HP and +57 lbs TQ from a stock SLK55. I also had Kleemann install a new QUAIFE mechanical limited-slip differential (LSD) to make sure the increased power stuck to the pavement. The work at Kleemann ($4,500+) was performed by their chief engineer, Cory Umemoto. His reputation among various AMG/tuning chat rooms is highly-regarded, and the end result is an SLK55 that purrs when driven nicely and roars when asked. I would encourage any prospective buyer to do a little research on Kleemann to see the highly reliable, quality work they perform on a variety of high end German cars. I have never raced the car or tested its limits – I just like having a car that can best 99% of the cars on the road. Everything operates as it should and there are no engine warning lights or issues of any kind. There are some typical signs of road use along the front of the car and lower side aprons, and any minor chips have been professionally touched up and detailed. The windshield glass is perfect and the body shows no dents or dings of any kind. All pictures are of the actual car up for sale. Additional hi-resolution pictures are available upon request.The car has 64,300 miles on it, and in the past few months I have addressed all of the routine service items due on the vehicle, including installing four new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires, new front and rear brake rotors and pads, new spark plugs, and routine MB-scheduled oil and filter servicing. This has been my weekend car. It’s been garaged, detailed, and only driven on sunny days. Simply put, the car is in excellent condition inside and out. It needs nothing but a new home as I have a SL65 project to tackle and don’t have the garage space for both cars. The owner’s manual and two keys are of course included. Wow you are not going to want to miss this one! When we were looking for an SLK we looked all over the country to find the right car. I purchased this car in Portland Oregon and we flew from Des Moines to pick it up and drive it home. This is a great car but we just do not drive it enough. We are the second owners and it has just under 12,000 miles on it. We purchased the car two years ago with 5800 miles. It has been meticulously maintained and stored in a heated garage since we brought it home. We have added a 3M clear bra, and a Plexi-glass windscreen between the seats, other than that it is stock. It has brand new Goodyear F1 tires on it that do not have 100 miles on them. The car has the navigation package, air scarf, Ipod hook up, CD player, Leather seats, Power top, heated seats, cruise, Lighting package and more. If you are familiar with the SLK 55 you know it has a 355hp 5.4V8 with 376 foot pounds of torque and is a blast to drive. The car was taken to Mercedes Benz of Des Moines on 3/12/15 for the "B" service. This is the 20K checkup,, it was performed due to time not miles. I have most all the paperwork on the car.
