Hey ebay this is my 2002 special edition Mx-5 I am the second owner. The first owner used it to commute to work. It had the 100,000 tune up done on schedule. I am getting rid of it because I need a bigger car for work. I don't want to sell it but I have no choice. Some details about the car: It has 114xxx miles on it. Its the m edition so its full leather and premium sound as well as a dual din pioneer touch screen which has navigation and Bluetooth. Also plays movies. Ac works perfectly. It has a torsen limited slip. 16" wheels. Nice sounding muffler. Pretty loud but its a nice tone. Newer soft top in perfect condition with glass back. Clean title never been abused. Everything in the car works and is in good condition. All stock except for the muffler. All repairs have been done in the past as needed. Drives super straight and is very responsive. 1.8L 16 valve dohc engine. Other than that the car runs strong and healthy. I love this car but I have to let it go. 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata Clean Title (Bitcoin Accepted) ALSO ON CRAIGLIST LOCALLY, I WILL CANCEL THIS IF IT SELLS LOCALLY. This Miata began to make a knocking noise and was garaged hoping to get it fixed while I drove my other car. Haven't had a chance to get this car to a mechanic and the car has been sitting for a few months. Now I'm moving to a different state and I'm going to have to cut ties with this car if someone is willing to take over. The car is on a non-op title now. The car has been in the garage long enough for the battery to die as well (which is why the odo number is approximate) . ~120,000 Miles (Battery is dead, record on the title says 113,870 miles, but the car has a few thousand more miles after that record was taken. It's less than 120,000 miles but because I can't give you an exact reading without going out and buying a battery I rounded up to 120,000. You'll be happy to see a lot less on the actual odo when you give it some life again.) All of the interior is in good condition, the seats have regular wear on them. The shift knob is the only wood that is worn, you can't really see the numbers anymore but I kept the stock nardi knob because it is nice. You could polish it if you wanted but that would ruin it for me. The softop is in good condition, never used it myself much because I either had the roof off and the softop down or the hardtop on. It's showing a little age with some darker spots in the leather where the leather touches the frame. Hardtop is in good condition as well. The main side weatherstripping for the soft and hard top are both very new, but the front stripping on the hard top where the roof of the Miata meets the hardtop looks like it has leftover silicone sealant or something similar that was used by the PO (I've left the residue out of fear of scratching the paint) The paint is in pretty good condition, there are a few scratches that have been covered with touchup paint and some areas where you can see swirl marks but for the age of the car it is overall pretty good. I've noticed that the paint of the bumper has started to fade at the very bottom compared to the rest of the car which you notice if you're laying down behind the car in direct sunlight working on it... The worst scratches on the car are two on the back bumper near the third brake light, and of course the front lip has a lot of dings and scrapes that you can't see unless you get down there. Overall I would put the paint at an 8/10 but I would recommend getting the car detailed so it's nice and shiny. The car has all oem parts except for a Roadstersport Midpipe California legal catalytic converter. Passed smog perfectly with the midpipe a few thousand miles ago. I took a look at the install job on the midpipe and I personally would get the midpipe reinstalled because they used gasket goo. A working condition (PO said it was in almost new condition and I never used it) stock Mazda midpipe/cat will also be included unless you don't want it. Spark plugs, oil, air filter all changed at least every 5,000 miles. Spark plug wires, coolant etc also changed frequently. Timing belt and water pump were replaced by mechanic only a few months before the car was put in the garage. Obviously they've been sitting though, so all wear and tear parts should probably be inspected / replaced. The tires probably have been deformed from sitting as well. The engine and radiator are both almost empty, but some fluid has been left inside just to be safe. Happy to work with you to ship this car, have you come pick it up, and happy to deal with Cashier's check, Bitcoin, Cash, really anything that works for you and isn't sketchy. Also happy to let you take the car to any mechanic but you'll need to transport the vehicle, and you're probably a mechanic/carnut already if you're interested. =============================== I have many more pictures, and to anyone interested I will send pictures of every single scratch and imperfection that I know of on the car as well as photos of the engine bay, and underneath the car which are both in VERY clean condition. The car is available for inspection in L.A. The top has a new (better than oem quality) rear window was stitched in. A new passenger window glass was installed. New lugs with locks were installed. A new 800CCA/105 min reserve battery was installed. The A/C system was recharged with R134a, and all fluid levels were topped off. New wipers and window washer components were installed. The steering wheel was swapped out for a Miata NB Nardi air bag steering wheel. The wheel has some wear on the rim, so I will include a temporary wheel cover. The air bag harness is not connected, but is a simple two wire connection. The car has a clean title, a copy of the title search inspection (Carfax) and the most recent smog check will included with your purchase. The car is currently registered through May 2015. I purchased this 94' Miata in May 07' with just 84,381. It is a clean titled car that has been well cared for, and always garaged. The odometer now reads 97,XXX as it is rarely driven. This averages out to 4,874 miles per the cars 20 year age (not bad at all). The car was re-sprayed last year in the original color. Note....some pictures show a color shade variance due to the lighting; all panels are color matched. The car runs and drives great. The audio/dvd navigation system sounds incredible! The interior looks, feels (and smells) fabulous! The car now sits in my garage undercover, ready for (you) the new owner. The upgrades are tasteful and well carried out.
