Up for sale I have my 1977 CJ5 Jeep its got a 258 straight six, 3 speed manual (Hurst pistol grip). dana 30 front axle(with manual locking hubs), AMC 20 rear. Engine runs very strong compared to most 258's I have dealt with. Its a Non power steering gearbox which power isn't really needed on this light jeep and saves some horsepower. It has a black bikini top(new) and tan full soft top(worn but keeps the cold out). Also have black half doors. Truck runs and drives great has been my daily commuter for many years. radiator less than a year old. Does not over heat or even get warm in traffic or on the trails. Has hitch receiver for towing or accessories. Tires have about 50% tread. Has fold and tumble rear seat (easily removed has quick disconnect pins). Has Roll Bar, Carpet flooring, JVC Stereo head unit less than 6 months old, with newer HD brand speakers. Locking Tuffy Box Console. upgraded to hard plastic glove box (replaces paper one). Heater works great but no A/C (it doesn't need it anyway!). Lots of Pros, but I'm honest and heres the Cons, -leaks oil, -burns oil(smokes on start after sitting but clears up after a second of running (valve seats), -Never been smogged (currently registered in AZ), -Rear seat has some tears. - Tan full soft top is very worn (but does provide nice shelter in the winter). This jeep is very fun, the Pros definitely out weigh the cons which are livable with. If you want a nice driver that you can easily work on and tinker with this is the jeep for you. much more bang for your buck than any newer wrangler, and you get thumbs up and people walking up to you to talk about it all the time. definitely a ride to be proud of. 1980 Jeep CJ7 with chevy 6.0 vortec. Doug thorley headers, Howell wiring harness and computer, griffin aluminum radiator with black magic electric fan, ac compressor converted to air pump, 1 gallon air tank to run arb air lockers and also air up tires. Turbo 400 with b&m cooler with built in fan. Dana 300 with teralow 4 to 1 gears and twin stick. Dana 60 rear with 4.56, arb, chromoly axles, willwood disc brakes, wfo traction bar. Dana 44 front with 4.56, arb, chromoly axles, warn premium hubs. Rubicon express reverse eye leaf springs with bilstein shocks, shackle reverse and a 1 inch body lift. PSC heavy duty steering box. 20 gallon poly fuel tank with genright skid plate. Poison spyder fenders, rear corners and rock sliders. Custom roll cage with snap on shade top (shade top stays on under full soft top). Stainless dash with all digital gauges (speedo, tach, tranny temp, oil pressure, temp, volts and fuel). Seats are from a jeep grand cherokee. Tuffy locking console. Sony disc player with usb, 4 6x9's, 2 10" subs and a 5 channel amp. Tilt wheel. 5 15x10 champion bead locks on interco m-16 with 75 to 80% remaining. Warn 9500# winch. Inside of tub is rhino lined but its been done for a while. The rest of jeep was built about 3 years ago. Went through the rubicon on the jeepers jamboree and thats about the extent of off roading.
