I am the second owner of the 2001 Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle is in excellent condition for its age and has low mileage. The Jeep runs and drives great. I have owned the vehicle for a little over two years and all maintenance is up to date. All fluids have been changed at various times over the last two years. The front brakes have less than 5000 miles on them and the rears had about half of the shoe left when checked at the same time. It has a trailer hitch along with an auxiliary transmission cooler for towing. It has an aftermarket Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth along with pioneer speakers. The "minor accident" reported on the auto check report is the slight damage to the rear bumper which is pictured. To even call it a minor accident is a stretch. The only reason it was reported was because the other car left the scene. Please see the "condition description" with the issues I am disclosing. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability. Please bear in mind it is over 15 years old and not perfect. I will say that these are becoming harder and harder to come by in this good of shape. $250 non-refundable deposit is due via pay-pal within 24 hours of commitment to purchase. I have a 1994 JDM Supra (Soarer) Engine 2.5 liter twin turbo swapped into a 1994 Jeep Laredo. It is a single turbo now, Holset HX-35. Many, many reputable aftermarket parts in this Jeep. Custom fit to AX15 5 speed with stage 3+ clutch. This is a 4wd truck, however the linkage from the selector to the transfer case is not bolted up. The Jeep runs in "safe" mode but needs a new ECU. Stock ECU will give 360hp, but mine is fried. It really needs an aftermarket ECU and bigger injectors. I have well over $9500 in this project, but am moving to a city that does emission testing for work. Selling my very clean 1998 jeep Cherokee 2 door 5 speed 4x4. It's a rare chili pepper red color which the photos don't do justice in my opinion. Has the bulletproof 4.0 inline 6 cylinder mated up to a tough as nails ax-15 manual transmission coupled to a np231 transfers case. Everything works as it should jeep needs nothing and is ready to go. There is no rust on the jeep so please don't ask. This includes rocker panels and inside of the doors and floor pans. Jeep was garage kept since new. Heat and ac and power windows all work. Stereo sounds amazing. Interior is very clean and still has a new car smell believe it or not. Keyless entry works and is very handy hassle free way to lock the doors on this jeep. It also has a rare overhead console option which displays avg fuel economy, compass, and outdoor temp. I have all the service records to go along with the jeep showing everything that has ever been done to the jeep to include regular maintenance, as well as frequent detailings. Few people know that the 1998 Cherokees are the best years for the "bulletproof 4.0" however in 2000 and 2001 they did away with the distributor and went with an individual coil pack. they also change the heads. the coil packs are finicky and the new heads are far inferior to the previous heads and will inevitably fail way before the jeep reaches its "300,000+ miles" this jeep with continued maintenance will live past 300k. $6500Please feel free to ask any questions or ask for additional pictures. This Jeep has been great for me, but I no longer need it because I have two other vehicles. Body is in pretty good shape but the paint is pretty rough. The underside is rusty. Could be a good work vehicle once the power steering and brake lines are fixed or use for another project.

This Jeep runs and drives good and has a Tow hitch. The drivetrain in this Jeep is legendary for reliability, so 250k is nothing to be concerned about. The body has scratches and dings comparable to mileage, but is straight for the most part. It is obvious that rust have been fixed on the two rocker panels. BTW two brand new rocker panels could be had on ebay for $35 each. Interior needs a good cleanup as seen in the pictures. Check engine light is on but does not effect MA state inspection because 1999 model year exempt from emissions. Should pass inspection. 4X4 seems to work but makes an occasional squeak.
