Well maintained 2001 Vanden Plas with low miles. The Good: All of the expensive known Jaguar issues have been taken care of at or around the 90k service. 1.New Throttle Body. 2.New front shock mounts and shocks. 3.New radiator core and all hoses inclusive of those pesky plastic fittings that get brittle over time. 4.90k service. The car does not leak or burn oil. There is no known rust. Tires are 70% or better. A/C blows ice cold. Interior is good with minimal wear on front seats. Driver's seat has been protected by lamb skin cover so is still in great shape. Dash has no cracks. Paint is still good. Radio and all electronic components work as they should (except driver's door lock noted below). Has 6 disc CD changer and navigation. And though it has built in telephone connectivity, it also has an after market Motorola blue tooth hands free system installed. (the built in system was no longer compatible with today's phones). The Bad: 1.Someone keyed the hood and left front quarter panel. 2.Driver's door lock activator doesn't work. Door will lock manually but not with the key fob (trying to get fixed now). All other doors work fine. 3.Material coming loose on driver's door pocket (fixable).4. Don't have the CD holder for the 6 disc changer. The car is 14 years old and does show normal signs of wear but would be considered by any inspector to be well maintained and in excellent condition. I am not the original owner. The vehicle history report will give you full details. The vehicle is available for inspection and local pick up. Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. I will work with whatever shipping company the Buyer contracts with. Full payment is to be made through PayPal within 72 hours of sale. This Jaguar is the nicest car I ever owned. It makes me sad having to sell it. It is in like new condition inside and out. Jaguars have a problem with their headliners coming lose. I had the headliner in this car change 6 months ago. Otherwise all work I have done were pretty basic for a used car. The brakes were rebuild about 1000 miles ago and I changed the trunk and hood hold-up springs. This car is so quiet that I could not hear the horn inside the car and I though it was not working proper. It was not broken, but I had a stronger horn install regardless. This car was driven very little, because I have other cars as daily drivers. I bought a Chrysler Town & Country that I mostly drive now, because I have bad legs and it's easier to get in and out of. This Jaguar was always garaged, but with winter coming I need extra room. I sold my house out west that had inside parking for all my toys and I only have a 2 car drive-through garage and parking for 9 cars in my yard. I have not many pictures, because I am having a problem with the uploading. Mostly from the interior. Nevertheless, the interiors of Jaguars are the prettiest in the industry. Lots of real wood and the finest leather. Basically I am 76 years old and my priorities have changed and those priorities no longer involve owning 14 cars and other toys.
