This Torino GT "Richard Petty" Edition is finished in Petty Blue over blue vinyl interior. An extremely rare and special car, it is one of only five ever produced. In 1969, Ford held a Charlotte 600 special sweepstakes in which the winners would receive one of these 428ci Cobra Jet Torinos, delivered to their doorstep by Richard Petty himself. 111 of these Torinos were built, but only five were optioned with the 428 Cobra Jet V8, and this car is one of those five. Richard Petty now owns two of the five 428 cars. These cars all came with a blank code on the data plate. Presented in its factory original condition and decoded by Kevin Marti, the car was built in Atlanta and finished on March 11, 1969. Options from the factory include the matching-numbers 428 Cobra Jet V8 and column-shift C-6 automatic transmission, 3.25 conventional rear axle, power steering, AM radio and whitewall tires. Other features include the Cobra Jet hood scoop, hood pins, front and rear bench seat, dual-exit exhaust system and Ford floor mats. Included with the car is the original Build Sheet, Deluxe Marti Report. Here is your chance to own a very nice piece of Richard Petty history. The car runs,looks and drives beautiful. Tasca was one of the best known & largest driving forces behind the development of the famous 428 Cobra Jet engine. When the transition to the 429 came they lead the way too. They special ordered stripper versions like this car. The only options being the Drag-Pack, F70X 14 White Sidewall Tires and an AM radio. This was really as light as you could get a Torino with the exception of the radio. They also avoided the Shaker Ram Air and the Cobra options that would have been a dead give away to high performance car. This was basically a big bad wolf in sheep’s clothing. This GT has of course been repainted in what appears to be a rare & very cool Ford color from 1987, Dark Shadow Blue. The paint has imperfections you would expect from an older paint job, but still presents well. Easily nice enough to cruise around with your head held high in this Super Rare Drag-Pack. The panels line up well and the addition of the Shaker Ram Air Induction is really cool too. This is a very solid body with minimal rust for the breed. There are a couple minor bubbles in the front door corners and rear quarters but overall much nicer than most. The structure of the car is quite good. The frame rails are in good condition and upon close inspection inside them you can still see the galvanizing. The Factory Black Bench Seat Interior presents well. Again, this was the truest sign of a sleeper. Just a bench seat, no console. The carpet was just replaced with a new reproduction kit. The seat upholstery shows minor wear with no obvious separations or damage. The door panels look good and again show only minor wear. The dash pad does have the normal crack but overall it is quite forgivable with the cars age. Under the hood the original SCJ engine has been replaced with a 2-Bolt Main 429 CJ with the correct D0OE-R Cylinder Heads, Exhaust Manifolds and CJ Intake Manifold. It is reported to have low miles on the restoration though we do not have any receipts on the build. It runs strong though and will easily defend its heritage. A factory Shaker Ram Air System has been added and no matter if it is original to the car or not, it looks cool and does add some horsepower in the real world giving the Big Block an unlimited supply of cool air to breath. The 4-Speed Transmission was just professionally rebuilt and it wears the rare RUG AU1 tag code which calls out for a 70 Torino 429 Close Ratio with 31-Spline Output. The Hurst shifter works nicely with crisp engagement. It works well and can certainly stand up to the abuse. The 3.91 Traction-Lock Differential is still in place, housed in the ultra rare ‘N’ Case Nodular 9” Differential with 31 Spline Axles. This is bar none, the most copied and reproduced differential made. So if you are in the market for a Real Deal Muscle Car, one with fire breathing Big Block Drag Pack Power, this is quite possibly the car. Not only does it pack the fire power, you need to consider the upside of this car. Being one of only 125 TOTAL SCJ 4-Speed cars, not to mention that this is GT, not the Cobra, it is VERY likely a 1 of 1 car. Up for sale is my beautiful winter project 69 Grand Torino TG a Real Very Rare Standard roof GT original 302 engine but now has a Huge 460 ci 4 barrels on it with less that 200 miles on it the engine was put new by previews owner the car drives runs very smooth but still a project is missing the back seat the two front seats are no original to the car the shiftier was original on the column but was move the the floor by previews owner also two pieces of chrome are missing the one housing one of the headlights and the piece that goes under the edge of the hoodcare is very solid inside, outside and underneath, the trunk looks like newpain is OK has a few chips here and there gas two small cracks by the rear window one in each side, the roof has also some spots where the paint is to starts to peels, it does looks good from 3 feet but closer will see all the defects please remember that i'm selling it as a project and don't expect to be road readyNOTE THE CAR CAME FROM THE STATE OF MAINE AND MAINE IS NO A TITTLE STATE SO A BILL OF SALE AND LAST REGISTRATION WILL GO AS TITTLE WHICH IS NO A PROBLEM TO REGISTER TO YOUR NAME IN ANY STATE BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE WITH YOUR LOCAL MOTOR AND VEHICLE IF YOU NO SURE ABOUT Any questions feel free to call516 2047201jim

1971 Ford Torino GT 2D Coupe. This vehicle was recently discovered in the woods of rural West Virginia. The car has no title and the body is rough but there are lots of desirable parts. The best of course is the original 351 Cleveland 4V engine that turns. There is also a C6 automatic trans, heavy duty 9" rear end plus various body and trim parts. The grille and left side door and front fender has already been scavenged sometime in the past. The right side sheetmetal is all there as is the trim, taillight panel, instrument cluster and good rear and side glass. Windshield is busted. Hood and deck lid are rusty. The car rolls and steers just fine and we can assist with loading. This auction does not include the wheels and tires, I had to rob them off of my Falcon to replace the rotten tires that was on the car when I found it so you'll need to bring your own. Keep in mind this is a parts car. I suppose it could be restored but that would take some doing as the body and floors are very rough. There is no title so the buyer will receive a bill of sale. A $500 deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Balance can be paid in cash upon pickup. Car is sold as-is, no warrantee of any kind. Original 390 4 speed Torino that has been garage kept for the majority of the last 28 years. This is not a restoration but a well kept 46 year old car. The floors are clean and there are no water leaks. The drive train is very sound . It runs and drives great! The engine, transmission,clutch, and rear end operate flawlessly. The previous owner removed the original transmission and replaced with wide ratio toploader and 2.76 gear ratio rear end to make it more driver friendly. The factory 9" 3.25 limited slip rear end and the close ratio toploader come with the car and are in good condition. Both were the factory installed pieces removed from this vehicle . A couple things to note : Slight rust at bottom of right fender (see picture) The Air condition is all there and functions but does not hold freon very long - suspect evaporator core . Rear bumper is slightly bent and is a little closer to the body on the drivers side (see pictures). With exception of a few minor imperfections this is a very solid car and would make a great investment.

I am selling my 1968 Ford Torino GT project car, due to medical reasons and also moving. The car is about half done and is the perfect car for someone who wants a project, but doesn't want a rust bucket. The car has 46,000 original miles.I have installed new steering, disc brakes (front only), tie-rods and boots, refurbished the C-4 Transmission, weather coated the bottom and wheel wells, sprayed ceramic coating in the engine bay, and stripped most of the paint off.The car has a brand new Ford 302 crate engine with 320hp and new polyurethane motor mounts -- engine is already installed. Engine built by Five Star Engines (Also here on Ebay).The car has bench seating, 3-speed column shift (Automatic), and comes with a copy of the original 1968 mechanics manual (about 1000 pages - very detailed).There are other parts that have been bought for the Torino that are also included, Radiator, body parts, etc. The car is rust-free (except for a few minor surface rust spots), has a very well kept interior, and a clean title held by me. This is a very clean 71 Torino GT 351 Cleveland with a 4 spd. Car is Red with factory Lazer stripe, Shaker hood scoop and factory 4 speed with bucket seat int. Car is very clean with no rust but has some small blemmishes here and there. Everything in car works as it should except for the ffactory tach. Car has all stock parts (air cleaner,exhaust manifolds ect) Motor in car now is a 351 Cleveland 4 bolt main with a small Hyd cam and an aluminum intake and a 600 Holly Carb. Original Motor comes with car and is complete (nothing taken off ) and ready to reinstall if you want.( comes on a rolling cradle) Car must be seen and driven. I have 19 years of reciepts for all work done to car over the years. This ia an extremely nice looking and driving car with lots of paperwork. I have the original build sheet, as well as some extra doors, rear bumper, set of bucket seats, 3 extra gt rims , and misc small stuff. The car is solid but will need floors. For the year it's in great shape. You don't have to look for extra parts because they are all there. Please don't waste my time. Bid if you are serious. I have disclosed all I know about the car. Not many of these around complete. I have a small hobby shop but I have some tools and air to air up tires and will help load the car. I have replaced the hood and hinges and it opens the way it should. Feel free to ask any questions. There is no reserve so if you place a bid , it's yours, unless someone else bids higher.
