Fantastic 1966 Mustang freshly rebuilt. Original engine rebuilt and bored out by Steve's Precision Machine Shop (you can look them up by their website stevesprecisionmachine) 4,500 miles on engine. Automatic transmission completely rebuilt by AAMCO, three speed automatic. Fresh paint with true to measurement Rally Stripes. Outside is straight and lines/gaps match up very nice. Very strong running car. Holds the road well. Snap back power as she runs through the gears. Glass is good throughout and all window rollers work. Water tight. No electrical issues: wipers, turn signals, headlamps, rear lights, brake lights, interior lights all functioning. All gauges work as well. Dual exhaust with a nice deep throaty sound to her. 4bbl Edelbrock carb, 500cfm. Original a/c, but taken out, have a/c unit. What the car needs: Has drum brakes, should upgrade to disk. Drivers seat needs repair....have foam, but upholstery on back order. Passenger seat solid, but does have rip, so would replace upholstery on this seat too. back seat is solid...no issues. Headliner should be replaced or repaired...about a six inch tear at seam. Needs new carpet too. Door panels need some TLC...probably best to replace. As with any classic car, there are a few small items to work on the car. Price is fair taking these into consideration. Strong running car. Bought as a father/son project car that really became a father project car.......Millennials huh? Would like to see it go to a home that can appreciate the history of the Mustang and realizes that a car like this always as a daily driver will always have a minor tweak here and there to deal with. Part of the experience! Willing to talk if makes sense for the right owner and the right reasons.

This is a 2006 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H. It was one of 500 produced for the 40th Anniversary of the "Original" 1966 Hertz Rent-A-Racer. It is near mint in every respect. Everything is working. It has all the power equipment that it should from the Ford factory and all the upgrades that came from Shelby American in Las Vegas. Virtually all 500 were automatics. Every Hertz Mustang started out life as a standard Black Mustang GT...then it was shipped to Shelby American and they did some pretty serious upgrades to the car. Gold center stripes were added over the center of the car from front to tail. Gold side stripes added to the rocker panels....to this day....the only Black and Gold Mustangs are the GT-H series for Hertz. The original Mustang Alloys were used to save some expense, but the Pirelli P Zero tires, were an upgrade. Shelby also installed a Sirius Satellite radio control on the center console of every GT-H. Some were removed after Hertz service. This one is still fully in tact and works!! I added the 40th Anniversary Floor mats. One of the last sets available. Includes the Trunk mat too. The first owner also bought the GT-H "Cap Package". It consists of the GT-H wheel center caps and the Oil Filler, Washer Filler, Coolant Over-Flow, Power Steering Fluid, and Power Brake Fluid Caps under the hood. He also replaced all the standard star bolts in and around the engine compartment with stainless steel scalloped cap bolts. It all looks fantastic! I have all the original caps and bolts. They will go with the car to the new owner. An original set of Ford floor mats is also included. Now here's a partial list of what American Shelby did to upgrade this Mustang to GT-H status....3.55 rear end. X-Pipe Exhaust, including over-sized stainless steel dual exhaust tips. Handling Package including front and rear Torsion bars, Struts in front and Shocks in the rear. Power Package: Exhaust, and Cold Air Intake.Front grill, first owner also added the lower stainless bar grill. Front Fascia. Side scoops on left and right sides.Hood Pins and brackets with retaining wire. New Hood. Shelby badging all around including special car number and Carrol Shelby simulated autograph on the center section of the dashboard. Side "Hertz" badges. Also an engine security wire seal. It's still there. It was to prevent someone from renting it and swapping out the engine for a standard V-8. I have all the original Hertz paperwork that was given to the first private party owner. Hertz Check-in sheet. Ford Check-in sheet.Original Invoice. Original Window Sticker from Ford. Original Window Sticker from American Shelby. And the Original MSO that Ford crated and gave to Hertz to license the car. The original California title issued to Hertz. This one was delivered to San Diego, Ca. Where it spent it's entire in-service life. The first owner also lived there. I bought the car from him and drove it home to Portland, Or in January, 2014, last year. The original set of Hertz California lip-stick plates are here and go with the car. Yes they are listed on the Hertz title. There's a one-year old Firestone Battery in the car, oil was changed and wiper blades installed. Now for some bonus material....The first private party owner which Hertz sold to, was supposed to receive and invitation to buy an original artwork piece from Ford, showing the first "66 Hertz racer along side the current "06 Hertz Mustang. I was fortunate enough to be able to get one of the last three in existence. It is shown in the pics below. It has a special plaque listing the car number 0091 and the first owners name. It is HAND SIGNED by Carrol Shelby. I also have the original invitation that was sent out, but no envelope. It is mint and there is a certificate of authenticity that was sent with each glicee' print. I also bought a reproduction showroom banner that Hertz would have displayed at the rental counter. It goes with the car and is shown in the pictures. In addition...first owner bought a replacement leather seat cover for ...someday?? It goes with. An extra set of gold rocker panel side stripes. And a spare matching alloy wheel with a Pirelli P Zero mounted to it. He did not want to be caught with the compact spare tire in case he had a flat....he never did. The car runs and drives like new. It is very fast. It can beat a C-6 Corvette. The former owner did....right before he sold it to me!! This car absolutely Rocks! Call me with any questions. Ask for Bob.... Work: 503-643-4585. I hate to part with this vehicle but I've made no progress in the 10 years I've owned it. It's in the same condition I bought it, which was an incomplete restoration. The prior owner had intended to race this vehicle, but it became apparent that they never got that far. According to the Marti auto report I purchased, this was delivered as a straight 6 with manual transmission and 4-lug hubs. There is a rebuilt 302 (according to the last owner), C6 (haven't confirmed), 9" (again haven't confirmed) and 5-lug hubs all around. Minimal surface rust. There is some pitting in the rear floor and a small hole (smaller than a dime). Any other rust is more like "flash" rust. While kept outside this vehicle always remained covered. Update: I believe there may have been repairs done to the lower rear quarter (drivers side) just behind the wheel. I didn't catch this before due to lighting and the inside needing cleaning up. I found what looks like a rivet. I'm assuming this was used to pull a dent out. It's the only place I've found so far that appears to have been repaired. Most, possibly all, parts are there for completion. Included are new padding and covers (black) for the front seats and headrests. New door panels (still in box). New carpeting, front and rear pieces. Rear seat is in good condition. Best I can tell this is a very clean and straight body. I've done the "tap" test and used a cheap magnet to check for bondo and couldn't find any spots (other than noted above). There is a new windshield and side glass. Images are taken in a manner that you can see how straight the sheet metal is. If you have ANY questions, please ask before bidding. This vehicle is sold AS IS, and being a project vehicle there is NO warranty or guarantee. If I'm able to identify the engine, transmission and rear axle I will add to the listing. I will include images in hopes that others might be able to identify the parts. Buyer responsible for shipping/transportation of vehicle. Thank you and good luck.

Just to be clear, my idea of "rust" is serious pitting or "through" rust. There is some pitting in the rear floor and a small hole (smaller than a dime). Any other rust is more like "flash" rust. While kept outside this vehicle always remained covered. Update: I believe there may have been repairs done to the lower rear quarter (drivers side) just behind the wheel. Includes most hardware. No flywheel. 2-bbl. Still has factory tag mounted. Not sure if this motor has ever been torn down. Always garage kept. Buyer responsible for shipping/transportation of vehicle. Thank you and good luck.

Up for Buy It Now Auction is my 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra. I am the second owner since 1997 and have maintain and stored this vehicle untill now. It only has 23697 actual original miles! It is in 100% original excellent condition and has never been in an accident. It has the original factory Black paint with only the passenger side door having to be touched up because of a large scratch, you can see the remains of the scratch at the side scoup which was not touched up only the original door. All vin number tags are visible and intact including both doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, this car has never been in a collision. This car was sold and stored in Phoenix Arizona untill 2006 untill I moved to Oregon. The original paint is in good shape except for some clear coat damage from the intense sun of Arizona when it was outdoors from time to time. The rear seat was never sat on. The A/C is not working due to lack of feon should be an easy fix to get up and working again, I'll leave it up to the new owner. All maintance records, window sticker, promotional packs, documentation, owners manual, stereo packs, factory floor mats, Wheel inserts & Locks and (2) Keyless entry etc. will be included with this car. The car drives and runs like new because of the fact it has only 23697, it is tight and fast. It has new BF Goodrich TA Radials and a new Battery. Other than the A/C everything is like new and works perfect with a great sounding factory installed Mach 460 JBL CD & Cassette Sound System. I believe this may be the only 1995 Cobra Mustang with less than 24K miles in the world truly a collectors car for a Mustang enthusiast. The new owner can pickup the car in person or pay to have it shipped. I will do everything I can to help the new owner have the car picked up for shipping, you we be responsible for cost and any damage after pickup. The car is in Portland, Oregon and has good tags till July 2015 drives great with no issues. This is the last year for the 302 cu. in. motor. Please feel free to ask about any questions or concerns I will do my best to answer them. I can be reached at 503-717-3527 anytime. Never been smoke in, so there is absolutely no smoke or bad odors!
