State of Ohio customers that are trading in a vehicle and are transferring plates will be charged an additional $5 title transfer fee and $4.50 plate transfer fee. Taxes are paid at the customer's local sales tax rate. Waikem Auto Family must receive tax payments from Ohio residents at their county's tax rate. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, emissions testing, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
