It was bought off an older gentleman who drove it to and from the gym out in western mass. Only 90K on the clock!! You don't find them this clean with as little miles. The super strong 8 cylinder engine with 225 of raw American horsepower. All stock but ready for the newest mods on the market to waken this beast up. Starts, runs, shifts, drives great! Clean open title. Currently not registered or insured but that's because I took it in trade and have no interest in keeping it. 1969 Ford Mustang GT 351 Coupe - Burgundy original color w/black vinyl roof - Original wheels are included - I just liked the Mustang Chrome Mags. I purchased this car from the original owner. He purchased it for his wife in 1969 and she wasn't crazy about it. SHE DROVE LINCOLNS!! No brainer there! He drove it occasionally for years then let his adult daughter drive it for a while. They moved to Washington state and it sat in his heated garage for years. It has NEVER seen SNOW OR ETC... When I bought the car the I was told back in 2003 that the paint job was approx. 10 years old. They never painted inside the door jams or the hood. My dad would freak out if he ever heard this. He was a body man for over 60 years. It would be easy and inexpensive at this point to paint the whole vehicle as there really isn't a lot of body work to be done. This would skyrocket the value of this car as there are not many 69 GT Coupe's left in this good condition. I have it insured for $24,000. because that was the appraisal and I probably have more than that into it by now. With a new paint job this car should be worth double that. Everything is STOCK!! This is a California car - 351 Windsor - GT gas cap - perfect vinyl roof - Factory Air conditioning w/tinted windows from the factory. New headliner with a small nick under passenger visor - may try to repair - vinyl seats are not ripped and in good condition - rugs are in excellent condition - no stains or odors (I think they were new when I purchased the car) - Stock AM radio - motor is stock and all original - shaker hood - bumpers original show some signs of age but really not bad - trunk fully lined with original vinyl and spare tire - no rot anywhere - small rust under battery box, just have one and haven't had time to remove it - one small rust spot bottom quarter panel. The motor purrs and when you nail it she takes off - passing gear tight and slick. Will spin tires from a stand still. Classic muscle car. She still needs a few more things for an old lady but definitely great fun to drive and show off. Occasionally there is a slight rap from one lifter every now and then, NO SMOKE AT ALL (add slick 50 and it stops). We have change everything over to the new air conditioning but still need an evaporator. Once that is replaced the A/C will be complete. Runs cold and has been charged but it's leaking through the evaporator. Since I purchased it I have done many improvements to make it more than a daily driver and it still needs a bit more. Here is a list of what I have done since 2003: New Radiator - condenser - fan belt- blade and shroud The factory Air conditioning has been rebuilt with all new Timing gear - naturally after a new water pump All new brakes including Rebuilt Power Booster New gas tank - all new power steering pump - hoses and arms New sending unit for the gas gauge - New horn ring - new shocks Installed all new custom dual exhaust from manifold to 2 new tail pipes All new wires - distributor cap - new coil - new ignition - alternator - rebuilt starter Original valve covers and breather - professionally painted the proper color SHIPPING ANYWHRE IN THE COUNTRY CAN BE DONE BUT IS THE BUYERS FULL RESPONSIBILITY. i hate to sell this car but i am having a hard time finding time to enjoy it ..I purchased this car in early 2012 drove it home and stared building the turbo kit right away. including the price of the car i have invested close to 12k. i purchased the car with 81,137 miles currently on the clock is 83,066. the car was tuned by dez racing and made 425Hp @ 7PSI on a 80 degree day.ill get the bad out of the way. the driver side window motor works but is starting to get tired, the pass side seat bluster has a slight tear, wing is starting to peel ( see pics) and there is a scratch that most likely can be buffed out on the lower part of the pass door( see pic). now with that out of the way the car runs amazing, mike dez did a great job tuning the car. starts perfectly hot or cold with no idle issues at all. i have included a few pics from the build so the amount of time taken in the build can be seen. every piece of the engine has been sandblasted and painted, every seal and gasket has been replaced on the engine,The alt. water pump, PS pump, tensoir , idlers, brake booster , master cylinder has all been replaced with new. the complete front and rear suspension have been replaced with poly bushing and new components. please feel free to contact me with any questions. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly! UP FOR AUCTION is a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback with the S code 390 engine and a 4 speed transmission. It is a factory Raven Black car with red interior 1of only 577 fastbacks to come from the factory this way. If you break it down by engine the number produced will shrink dramatically. This is a truly rare opportunity to own a rare 67 S code NON GT fastback. It is a very original car with 127k original miles. This car is a very original car that has never had any major wrecks. All factory tags are in place including Engine coil ID tag, buck tag, rear axle tag, trans tag and door tag. The entire drive train is the one it was born with without question. The paint is original except for the left front fender and most of the drivers door where they blended the paint. The engine has never been removed from the car. The engine is locked up. We did remove the oil pan and the heads to see what the issue was. Upon inspection we quickly realized the car was parked due to the timing chain. It still has the factory cam gear with the plastic coated teeth. The plastic teeth have all cracked and fallen off and were residing in the oil pan. There is a ridge in the top of the cylinder bores consistent with a car that has over 100k miles on it. We have started soaking the cylinders with mystery oil and may be able to get the engine turning over. The cylinder walls show o rust pitting. The undercarriage photos clearly show the factory paint on the original untouched floor pans. The frame rails are all SOLID. The original battery tray is still intact!! The interior is mostly original. The original owner was trying to do some Black/Red treatment to the interior and he must have installed the Black deluxe door panels and seats. The rust problem areas are the front drivers side torque box, the lower rear quarters and trunk drops, lower fenders and the engine bay apron overlaps. The cowl is SOLID, which is amazing for one of these cars. The original paint has some dings and small dents the worst are the trunk lid and the drivers qtr panel down low near the vent. I have restored Mustangs for over 30 years and although there is some rust issues this is one of the most unmolested cars I have seen. I try to be VERY thorough in my description so there are no surprises for the potential buyer. The many pictures posted should answer most questions about the car.
